I didn't do any MOFa or MOE stamp again and when I got there they collected only photocopy of documents.
My degree was also legalized in India.
My eligibility letter was given to me by my university in India.

Hi. I'd like to know. Your waec must have been stamped by MOFa and MOE since u studied outside before. Did u have to get them stamped again? I am in a similar situation and confused if I need eligibility letter or go to the ministries again. My BSc degrees has already been stamped and sealed by Philippine ministry of education

I have been following this thread and I got a lot of information from here, so I promised if I get my visa I will also share my experience.
Applied for masters program
Documents submitted at the embassy are
Admission letter
Documents used in securing the admission
Insurance
For proof of fund I used my sponsors pay slip+
( note he is not related to me in anyway) first i submitted statement of account and luckily one of the polish woman corrected me that there is no where it was stated that statement of account is proof of fund.
Accommodation and flight RESERVATION.
and a lot of PRAYERS.
pls feel free to ask any question about my experience.
And yes I got my visa.

Please, is the €30 charge at the embassy for translation of documents or just to legalise it?

That shouldn't be an issue. It's a minor issue since it is the month of birth and not year. What you will do is to get an affidavit. Take the WAEC certificate and your birth certificate/declaration of age to court for an affidavit. The affidavit specifies that the month on the certificate is incorrect and mentions your real month of birth. So you will always attach this affidavit to the WAEC certificate at all time.

All the best.
If it is year of birth that has issue, what cab one do?

I will try to answer the most important questions for now.
1.You have a Bsc you don't need SK certainly. But German is important to get jobs easily and for everyday life and survival. You apply to as many as possible, there are no guarantees, the higher you GP the better your chances

2. Earn? When I don't understand. Better German better opportunities in all sectors.
Germany have changed their laws regarding students so it's now easier for students to get visas.
3. PHD or job may be different people different opportunities, just develop your skillset especially IT and learn German.
I hope you find this useful.
