You can seek for Canada visa or schengen visa, for Canada you may use up to 2m for both visa and flight ticket and other few things, for schengen which is European countries, #1.5m can be enough, but be rest assured that once you start working there or go into business you will make it. But if you are more interested in business, go to China. All options are better than been in Nigeria

Politics / Re: 2019 Election: Atiku Makes New Appointments by Danzco: 2:42pm On Dec 03, 2018

Three northerners, one from the south west. Is this an indication of how Atiku will make appointments into his government if elected?

If Buhari is to make this kind of northern centric appointments, some people's cries will almost bring nairaland down and this is the replacement they proposing.[/quote

just think about it......

It's the revenue generated from the oil gotten from our backyard that is keeping this nation alive today.
yet before we get anything it will first go to the north then the west before us.

They are just using us. trying to milk us dry for their selfish interest claiming one Nigeria.

We provide more to this nation
The only thing the rest of them bring is overpopulation.

When elections come they start to tell us how we are insignificant politically, so they hardly pick a candidate from the south South, but when it's time to collect oil revenue they remember the south South.

they only build rails that leads to oil areas or oil communities because thats all they ever want from us, the oil.....

God will punish the person that almagamated this country

for those that are talking about 13% I'm not sure you're alright. what can 13% do.

2nd Niger bridge alone is worth 206bn.

we need 50% of our oil revenue, you all can manage the rest 50% and use your population to generate more revenue by taxation...

you guys can appoint who you want as ministers or service chiefs or vice president we don't care just give us our money...

is it not surprising that we couldn't even get a VP slot

pdp- Atiku / obi - north/east

APC Buhari /osibanjo north/west

I guess it's only in collecting oil revenue that the south is important ABI

what happened to the ogoni clean up.. for 4 years now

The last time I checked up GEJ ruled for six years and South South and South East worked hard to see him extend it, so I don't know why you don't see Peter Obi south-east as your own brother that need your support too

No!!!!!

1) states like bayelsa that receive over 800% more grant than most populous kano have NOTHING to show of development, why? The leaders are stealing the money
2)enormous corruption and looting
3)excessive tribalism and nepotism
4)uneven development across the country
5)poor leadership in each state
6)long period of time before states get their acts together
7)most states have NOTHING to depend on
8. )no federal grant means states like jigawa, nasarawa, kwara etc cannot afford to pay their civil servants
9)it takes decades to build an economy which means all the states must go back to the 19th century
10) there will be war and chaos
11) with the current living hardship no state can bear economic building
12) states controlling their resources means enormous theft, all the thieves in each state will have access to state treasury and they'll surely empty

Blame the white people that amalgamated this country

That's rubbish, people like you are the challenge we have in this country.

Restructuring is the best thing that can happen to Nigeria now, check other countries that are practicing true federalism.

Does Peter Obi, PDP VP support a Christian/Muslim ticket for the country?

If he does will he support same diversity for SE gubernatorial?

There are things I so much hate about Nigerians, it's just annoying and total stupidity.

When Obasanjo was up for the presidential election, Nigerians care less about his VP but attention was centered on him.

When Yaradua was put up for election, no body cared about Jonathan and what he is bringing to the governance, and everyone talked so much and bad about Buhari and nothing was said and talked about concerning Osibanjo, NOW FAST FORWARD TO 2019, PEOPLE INCLUDING EL' RUFAI ARE KILLING THEMSELVES MORE ABOUT PETER OBI than His principal, H E Atiku.

When did V P start gaining so much attention that people are antagonizing him? What are the roles of a V P of Nigeria? Are people just hating this guy because of his achievement or tribe?

Please you guys and el' Rufai should leave this MAN alone and focus on the presidential candidate, who else cares or talks about Osibanjo when buhari has been the one in full charge?

A blind nation that need to wake up to responsibilities and stop this hate of Peter Obi

its not about where you register, it's about who you want to vote.

Ikpewe:
I have come to realise the main reason some Northern leaders are against PMB second term ambition. They did their calculation very well before coming out to openly endorse Atiku. If PMB wins next year election the north will only have another 4 years to rule Nigeria but if Atiku wins, the North will have good 12 years to rule Nigeria because Atiku will definitely want to go for second term being that he is desperately looking for power by all means. Those who are desperately showing interest in Atiku's presidency are doing that just for the North to retain power for many years to come. --WILCOX.E.URUA

brother if Buhari win 2019, and APC choose a southern in 2023 while PDP choose a Fulani man, what makes you think that the northerners won't vote the Northern guy there making it 16years on nothern reign?

Politics / Re: Chekwas Okorie: I Prefer 4 More Years Of Buhari To 8 Years Of Another Fulani by Danzco: 4:36pm On Oct 16, 2018
[quote author=CilicMarin post=72129571]By Yinka Ajayi National Chairman of the United Progressive Party, UPP, Chief Chekwas Okorie, in this interview, outlines why the South-East and South-West should back President Muhammadu Buhari’s re-election and speed up power shift to the South among other national issues.

Nigeria is still a work in progress but it’s unfortunate that we are in election mood. While those in government are busy convincing Nigerians that they have done

On President Muhammadu Buhari’s anti-corruption war Nobody can take that from them because they were able to fight the anti-corruption war headlong.

But for some to call the anti-corruption war of this administration a selective fight is illogical. Because the issue of fraud and corruption does not expire. It’s a matter that lasts over time. And a government that is serious has to start from somewhere. If it’s one sided, who will they arrest, is it other innocent Nigerians or Chekwas Okorie who had never gone near government resources or treasury?

And some particular Nigerians had access to the treasury for 16 good years. If they start from there and another government comes to power, they can continue from there. I always remind those that say anti-corruption war is one-sided of an Igbo proverb that says: A River can only drown somebody whose feet it has seen. If you did not go near the river, how can it drown you? Are they saying if they stole and the other people stole, it should be cancelled? It’s only a corrupt man that will say that. They are not even ashamed that they had 16 years to rule and they messed the whole country up. They laid the foundation for recession.

Before I sound like the ruling party spokesperson, everybody knows that they had a higher source of revenue, by the time this government came, we had less than 7billion dollars in foreign reserve now we are talking about 42 to 46 billion in our foreign reserves.

Despite the situation we have found ourselves, there have been indications of prudence in resource management.

Nobody who will say agriculture has not received the kind of boost we are beginning to experience more certain growth and genuine infrastructural development.

The Buhari’s administration attitude not to cancel contracts approved by the previous government because his government didn’t award them, and encouraging contractors to go back to site is unprecedented.

We are now beginning to look at railway as a source of transportation; Agriculture has a quantum leap in development and is affecting Urban-Rural migration positively.

So things may not be automatic but things are looking up. For us in UPP, we decided not to field a presidential candidate so that we can use this period to consolidate and build a solid structure for 2023.     So for me, the Buhari administration is good to go for second term because there is nothing in PDP that Nigerians are missing that will make me want them to come back. I can live with another four years of Buhari but may not be able to endure another eight years of PDP.

The reason is the person running under PDP moral baggage is known, his pasts are known and we know what they did with the opportunity they had when they were in power for 16 years. So a Leopard does not change its spots. The saying that the devil you know is better than the angels you don’t know is true.

In a situation where there are two devils, you can choose the better devil. To Nigerians that are ethnic minded, they are faced with two Fulani, the APC Fulani and the PDP Fulani. It is left for you to choose your own Fulani.

For me, Buhari has an uncompleted job and the way he is going is a path of progress.

It is for Nigerians to decide what they want but I personally will prefer another four years of Buhari before power shift to the South-West or South-East, than another eight years of another Fulani with the same spot and if you add it to the previous nightmare of the PDP it will be too much for Nigerians to bear.

Read more at: https://www.vanguardngr.com/2018/10/2019-i-prefer-four-more-years-of-buhari-than-eight-years-of-another-fulani-chekwas-okorie/

when you analyze and think your permutations are right, just know that others are scheming too.

watch this: south south, south East and South West are too weak and political naive, for years now, they have in one way or the other helped the core north to power.

West are fully in support of Buhari because they feel that their own is VP, South-south and southeast are supporting pdp hoping to get a better deal this time but in all both South-south, southeast and southwest are all "SLAVES TO FULANI/HAUSA".

BY the time you vote Buhari back to office and he finish up 2023, then APC field in a southerner, while pdp retain a northerner so that they can take over power, IT WILL SURPRISE YOU THAT 18MILLION AND 11MILLION NORTHERN VOTERS WILL ABANDON APC AND VOTE PDP BECAUSE A NORTHERN MAN IS THEIR CANDIDATE.

SO WHICH EVER CALCULATION YOU WISH TO CHOOSE, KNOW THAT NORTHERN VOTERS ARE ILLITERATES THAT DOESN'T UNDERSTAND LOGIC.

ITS BETTER THE SOUTHERNERS VOTE SOMEONE THAT CAN RESTRUCTURE OR THE SOUTHERNERS SHOULD INSIST ON RESTRUCTURING AND TRUE FEDERALISM
