Singapore cost of living is high for student , what course do you want to do for your masters i can send you list of Universities that offer the course and you can check the tution fee . International students are not allowed to work while schooling and no one will employ you without a work pass.

So think twice .

Been to Singapore more than 10 times and immigration never asked me for BTA ( Well may be because i dont travel from Nigeria but depsite that it is my Nigerian passport am using and they never asked for BTA once )

If you going for a one week vacation as you said , Food , transport (Taxi, MRT) is cheap in Singapore but accomodation is a bit high depending on how luxurious u want the hotel to be . But i am very sure 1000usd should be enough and also do some few shopping .

Enjoy Sing! it is a great place

Why no try Japan, Australia, Newzealand or even Korea, they are very good sites to study.

Malaysia has one of the best nursing schools in Asia, but the disadvantages of studying there overweighs the advantage. Students are treated like foreigners with tourist visa, but they have nice sites for fun.

Singapore is a very expensive country to live. I have been to singapore on vacation twice, and its very expensive. More expensive place to live and study than london. They have good schools but u must come with enough cash.

Indonesia is a no go area for Nigerians, Dont go there!!!! Bewared. If you really love yourself and want to be happy studying, Dont go to indonesia!!!!

Nigerians in the three country mentioned above are mostly tagged as drug dealers and 419ers( [s]but its almost true and they live large with fat accounts, Many of them even drive bigger cars than their politicians[/s])

Heah what do u mean by Indonesia is no go area for Nigerians ? I was in Bali last month for 8days and i must say i had the best time of my life , the people are so friendly to me and no sign of discrimanation at all , even at the airport i had a very easy check in and check out . dont listen to what people tell you about other countries you have to go there and experience it your self .

Singapore is expensive but it is still cheaper than schooling in UK.

Travel / Re: Why Do Most Nigerians Abroad Feel Too Big (important)when They Come Here! by darkroll(m): 5:30am On Jul 22, 2008
This topic reminds me of the last time i came to Nigeria , i was so excited to visit nigeria and meet with some friends and families so i made a big mistake by informing some of them of my flight details. i recieved lot of calls from people (even names i cannot remenber again ) asking me to buy all sort for them (Mobile phones was the highest request , laptops , clothes , shoes e.tc ) . i was shocked when i got to nigeria , first of all at the airport there were more than 20people to welcome me (i dont see any point for 20people to come welcome me , i am not a GOD) , the other issue i had was hanging out with people or going to the market to buy things ( at the market if i bargain for price , my friend will tell me why am i barganing , u just came back from abroad and u barganing !) these is shocking to me , is it that people who live abroad and when they go back to Niger they dont bargain ?

I went out to check for the prices of the above items people asked me to buy for them (Mobile phones was the highest request , laptops , clothes , shoes e.tc ) some of the items are even cheaper in Nigeria , I live in the Seychelles one of the most expensive place in the world , i did not buy some of the items i only bought things i could afford and things i thought they will appreciate but the comment i got from some people is that people who live abroad are stingy and they feel too big .

My next trip to Nigeria i will just find one small hotel stay and spend time with close friends and families alone .

@ poster .
U people back home in Nigeria make them feel big when some of you guys treat them as GOD or GODESS , that is why some returnees just keep to them self and dont want to hang out with some people again

You made it sound so easy as if getting cyprus residential permit is that easy , so after the 3 month visa u get for them expires what do u expect them to be doing (roaming around the street and hiding from immigration?) , na people like you they promote illegal migration .

promise2:

Landis, the school is in Creek Cyprus. please do you know if is possible to school and at the same time work?
The cyprus immigration does not allow student to work and school

Interested in north cyprus for what ? what kind of visa are you offering ? holiday , tourist , working ?

After arriving in the TRNC (the Turkish Republic of North Cyprus ) you can stay for up to 3 months which is provided by your tourist visa. If you consider prolonging your stay, you need to apply for a residency permit at local Immigration Office which allows you to reside in Northern Cyprus .

If you can think you can stay up to 3month and the apply for a resident permit at local immigration office that is a very big lie oooooo , The immigration will want to know why you stayed for 3 month if you actually came for holiday and how you have been funding the holiday for 3 month , what is your main reason for applying for a residency permit ?please vikiviko do your home work well before you start posting rubbish here , do u think cyprus residency permit is something you can just pick up like that after your 3 month visa expire

Sorry to bring back the Thread , Just to let you guys know that strange things happens . My brother went ahead and apply for the Uk visa despite that he erased the previous refusal stamp on his passport but he filled in the application form that he has been refused before in Nigeria, to our greatest surprise he was issued 6month visiting visa and they did not even asked him what happened to the refusal stamp.

Probably.

She'll obviously have to prove it was an innocent mistake her parents made.
I guess the authorities may be curious, as to why she's not corrected the discrepancy in 7 years. . .

What if the person travels abroad after the passport was done , and he has some visas on it already and came back to Nigeria to rectify the date , do u think this is possible ?
