Ambitious, Articulate and Intelligent Business Development Executive required by Lagos, Nigeria based Oil and Gas startup.

My client is an Oil and Gas startup, with a short history but big future. They are seeking an articulate and Intelligent Business Development Executive with ambitions of becoming a Manager to join a team tasked with developing new and existing business leads within the Oil and Gas Service sector.

You will have at least 3-5 years experience in Business Development in the Oil and Gas Service Sector, be articulate and Intelligent enough to identify new opportunities and grasp new industry innovations, terminologies and technologies. You will Ideally have an Engineering Degree but be focused on a career in sales.

Knowledge of Compressed Gas Industry and Power Generation Industry will be an advantage.

Key responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the job purpose of the Administration Manager is to lead the Administration department of the Company. You will support and train the administration group to positively add value to the company’s administrative operations.
Essential Qualifications:
•Bachelor or Master Degree in Business Administration, MBA or related advanced degree is strongly preferred.
•Fluency in English and Yoruba is essential.
Experience:
•Minimum 5 years work experience in Administration, 3 as an Administration Manager in a large indigenous or multinational company which specialises in (Oil and Gas, Energy infrastructure, engineering or construction).
Competencies List:
•Good communicator, both written and oral in English and Yoruba.
•Good knowledge of administration policies and procedures
•Budgeting, forecasting, and analysis experience.
•Very good knowledge in use of Microsoft applications including Word and Excel.
•Experience with countries in West Africa or similar will be desirable.
•Strong interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively across multiple functions and with varied levels of management
•Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet short term deadlines
•Availability to travel for short periods and flexible schedule
•Capacity to work under pressure.
•High negotiation abilities.
•Analytical.
