Politics / Re: How Alamieyeseigha And Silva Looted Bayelsa Treasury? by daslimiski: 2:33pm On Dec 26, 2014 |
Interesting post. Let us not forget that as at the time Silva left office, Bayelsa state had a grand total of 3,490.00 naira in all of its state accounts put together. Compare that with the over 4billion naira that is there currently courtesy of the present governor. Also, most of the debts that Bayelsa is servicing now came from these two administrations. Posterity will ALWAYS judge a leader. Please, for those who are trying to turn this thread into a GEJ matter, he has. nothing to do with it. |

Politics / Re: I'll Meet With Other Generals To Solve Insurgency- Buhari by daslimiski: 5:26pm On Dec 25, 2014 |
Descartes: My brother ask him, oh! Do you (#berem) think that Buhari can cope with this insurgency as it is now? Or perhaps you have not realized that this islamic insurgency threat is a world-wide phenomenon? In east africa, al shabaab is waging their own war, Isis is in Iraq and Syria, Al queda is in operation in afganistan with the Taliban and you have other groups in India and Pakistan. Besides, the world and its techniques for facing such threats have changes significantly in the last 5-10years. Buhari has nothing to offer because he is not used to these techniques. Also, we need to remember that we currently operate a democracy, not a military dictatorship. Buhari is at best a military dictator. We do not need someone who will come in and spend four years learning how to use diplomacy, when they were formally used to orders and decrees. 3 Likes |

Please explain to me how Gen Buhari will provide us with a solution to Nigeria's challenges. The man is 72 yrs old and I truly do not see what he has to offer this country. Science also tells us that we do not change as we get older, we just become more entrenched in our beliefs and behaviors. If Buhari was a religious bigot 20yrs ago, as evidenced by that newspaper post above, then he will only have become worse with age. 1 Like |
