Politics / Re: I Signed Civil Servant Demands Out Of Duress- Kogi State Gov. by davd: 12:22pm On May 19, 2011
The Kogi government is now preparing May salary on 10k minimum wage against the earlier agreed 16k with the labor. The problem with our union leaders is sell-out. If not, why something that was agreed and duly signed should be forcefully changed by the government and NLC members are just quite.
Politics / Re: INEC hammer falls: • 52 Political parties (listed) to go, 10 to survive by davd: 11:56am On May 19, 2011
The truth of the matter is that we just need between 5 to10 political parties in this country, no more, no less. It just that the large number is being used for you chop i chop(business).
Politics / I Signed Civil Servant Demands Out Of Duress- Kogi State Gov. by davd: 8:59am On May 18, 2011
The much expectation on the issue of 'salary relativity'(16k minimum wage) which suppose to commence in this month pay has met its water-loo in Kogi State. The State governor earlier promised the full implementation of the increment in May, this year, but now claiming that he signed the agreement with the NLC out of duress. H said the State has no money to meet up the agreement.

Did he signed the agreement at a gun point? Please can somebody explain to me what the governor is trying to say?

Sports / Re: Super Falcons Crash Out Of All African Games by davd: 8:43pm On May 16, 2011
As usual, federal government will soon set up a committee to look into the poor outing or input of Super Falcons. It's another means of creating extra job opportunities for some people.

@jonathanyk, you should express your mind towards the recommendation to Governor Idris by the PDP leaders in Kogi East senatorial zone, instead of total condemnation of the topic.

@enyojo, what is my offense? You have have to read through the thread properly before you start pouring insults. Am i a member of Kogi PDP leaders? I am not a member of PDP leaders in Kogi State. Please, you can simply accept or reject PDP leaders in Kogi East senatorial view/belief towards Kogi State Governor.
Politics / Gov. Idris Described The Best In North Central Zone By Kogi Pdp Leaders by davd: 7:57am On May 15, 2011
When PDP leaders from the Eastern senatorial zone recently paid a courtesy visit to Governor Ibrahim Idris of Kogi State, he was described by the PDP chieftains as the best performing Governor in the North Central Zone. Governor Idris was applauded for his human and physical development in every parts of the State, especially on the constructions of township roads and provision of portable water in Lokoja, Ankpa, Idah, Ayangba, Okene and Kabba. He was also praised for maintaining good relationship with civil servant, and this will be shown again when the State N16,000 relativity/minimum wage will be paid to all the civil servant in May, this month. The PDP leaders pray for who ever will take over from him in 2012 to emulate his good work and continue from where he will stop.

This is an open thread for your contribution!

Well, i really hope the Governor continues his good work according to PDP leaders, and implement salary relativity which he signed and promised to commence payment this month.
Politics / Re: ACN Not A Yoruba Party, Says Ngige by davd: 4:57pm On May 06, 2011
It's a Yoruba party, and the same time a betrayal party.
Politics / Buhari Betrayed By Acn by davd: 6:15am On Apr 17, 2011
The news circulating before the presidential election that ACN had sealed a deal with PDP become a reality, no longer a story. It was discovered that PDP leaders were given raw cash and at the same time promised of cabinet members shows insincerity in the part of ACN in the earlier alliance talks with CPC.

The main lesson to be learned is that you have to careful with some set of people. The ACN dramatic support for a party(PDP) they have labeled with corruption shows they leaders are insincere, and betrayer is their names.

Congratulation GEJ! If you can sincerely fight corruption, every other things will work. Start from foundation by removing the corruption which we can also describe as top soil before laying the hardcore, that is why some of us are in support of Buhari. Is very annoying when a project is giving out and at the end of the day the contractor abandon the project and nothing will happen, because he was able to settle some people above with % of cash.

@jambo, even if Jonathan will win, let my vote and your counted be the actual ones to be recorded and announce.
Politics / Re: Pdp Secret Plan To Rig Presidential Election by davd: 6:35am On Apr 16, 2011
@gerded, it seems you are not in Nigeria. If you don,t know, National Assembly election was massively rigged. I'm not begging you to vote for acn,cpc or anpp. What i said is a secret plan of pdp to rig the presidential election. What most Nigerian are crying for is for your vote and my vote to be counted, simple like a,b,c, and any party including pdp can win at the end of the day.
Politics / Re: Pdp Secret Plan To Rig Presidential Election by davd: 6:17am On Apr 16, 2011
@recoome, i hope you will not regret in two months time when the gifts you have been receiving from pdp now will stop coming to you till 4 years time. ignorant and selfish man!
Politics / Underground Plan By Pdp To Inrease Fuel Price To N150 by davd: 10:45pm On Apr 15, 2011
PDP is to increase fuel price to N150 in November this year if voted into power. Main reason for the development is that GEJ was forced by Nigeria Labor Congress(NLC) to sign minimum wage decree which PDP leaders, including Jonathan were not comfortable with.

Instead of increasing fuel price, i think the minimum wage should be reverse to the former.
Politics / Re: Must-Win Election:Jonathan Spends 107 billion Naira In Two Days,Meets Jega In Private. by davd: 10:29pm On Apr 15, 2011
The truth of the matter is that PDP leaders have done the deal with eight states in the North. The States to be rigged are Kebbi, Sokoto, Jigawa, Adamawa, Taraba, Borno, Benue and Kogi State. All the States In South East and South South(exception of Edo) should produce above 80% winning, while South West States(exception of Ondo) was not considered in the deal since the alliance between CPC and ACN did not work.
Politics / Pdp Secret Plan To Rig Presidential Election by davd: 8:51pm On Apr 15, 2011
PDP in their secret meeting planned to rig Saturday Presidential election in eight(cool States of the Northern Nigeria. The party is using the States PDP governors/leaders with States INEC senior officials to achieve this aim. The States are North West-Sokoto, Kebbi and Jigawa; North East-Borno, Adamawa and Taraba; North Central-Benue and Kogi. Meanwhile, South East and South South States(exception of Edo) have been penciled down not to have less than 80% votes for PDP. However, South West States have not been given serious attention in the plan since the alliance between CPC and ACN did not materialized; but Ondo State has been negotiated to be delivered for the PDP.

What a pity! Is this a democracy(Government of the people, by the people and for the people)?

Evil people are always thinking of evil idea. I think opposition parties should insist on polling officers(PO) to announce all results at polling units, otherwise should be canceled.
