Please I need clarification about this tma misconduct. How does one know if they're affected? My friend, a pgd student had someone do 2 of her courses for her and now is worried about what to do even though she did 5 of the courses herself. Will the affected students be notified or the scores erased? Will she have to do all the tmas again? That general message about tma misconduct from the management was on her portal when she logged on. She also received it in her student email, but we don't know if we should take it serious considering I received the same email and I graduated last year

Hello. Please does the computer-based test get a paper copy of the TRF? I saw my computer-based result 7 days ago, and I called British Council today about the paper copy TRF, which I thought would be sent, but I was told that for computer-based, it is an e-Copy we have, which is on the results page, that no paper copy.

Please, can anyone verify that?

I'll also like an answer to that question. I wrote my test last month and was told when I called them to enquire about the hardcopy that the e-copy is very much valid for any application

I wrote my IELTS for the first time on Thursday, 14th of September in Poznan, Poland. I prepared for a month using the premium IELTS service available after registration for all modules and also joined the tutorial scheduled. I also used some YouTube videos for Listening. I got my result this morning and I am happy!

I applied for a remark, max the other sections, and got 6.5 in writing. I received a mail today without stating if the results changed or if it's still the same.
It only stated that they have received the outcome of the Eor, and TRF is available for collection, without any attachment.

I don't think the mail is meant to show your result. It'll be available on the portal if you check

Please register and kill that fear. Just factor in the amount of time you'd need to prepare, into the date you select for the exams. If it's 2 months you need, please calm down and prepare. No one gets a medal for how fast they prepared for their IELTS.

Also, selecting a date puts you on your toes as there would be a countdown in your head.

I’ve always had no issues with L&R, but you see R&W, I wasn’t getting the score I desired in them.

In the past, I always stuck to the word limit when writing and I think that worked against me. After going through the practice platform for IELTS British Council, and I saw that band 9 essays were way more than the word limit, I decided to try that out and I believe that helped me.

For Speaking, I was lucky that I had an idea about all I was asked. Also it was a white person that interviewed me this time (not sure if that was an edge for me).

Materials - IELTS Liz, IELTS E2 YouTube, IELTS BC official practice platform, and a Makkar doc too.

I don't know how you found the courage to write the third time but kudos to you. My first attempt was some months ago, and my writing was poor. To register again has been an issue because I panic whenever I'm about to select a new date

That's serious. If you can find time, I'll suggest maybe going back to your test centre to enquire since all attempts to reach them has failed.

Have you gotten a response now? BC just notified me my EOR has been completed. Sadly, my writing didn't increase but speaking did. My only consolation is that I'll at least get a refund for the EOR...it would have been a great result but for that 6.5 in writing sha

I sat for IELTS GT (CBT) on 22nd April 2023 and I was able to view my result on Tuesday 25th April 2023 as early as 9am.

It is pertinent to note that due to my very busy work schedule and other secondary engagements, I have had little or no time to study. Infact, I should have done my IELTS since early 2022 but I kept postponing it.

Has it been accepted for your application yet? Don’t mislead anyone by telling them yes if you're not certain, especially since you haven't submitted it. You should only say yes after it works for you

I really can't say but if you're there early enough before it gets crowded, they might attend to you. The method doesn't even make sense to me and personally I wouldn't have left that queue even if my name starts with another alphabet but thankfully it starts with A. To be sincere though, all the names I heard started with A & O but who knows with NIS people

Alausa passport office showed me pepper yesterday before I collected my passport. We were on the queue outside their compound for hours because the halls were full. If you captured before Nov 5th, your passport is most likely ready unless you had NIN issues. Heard the new method for collection is to give people with Last name starting with A & O on Monday,Wednesday and Friday. The other days are for other alphabets(i don't understand this too)
