Lol.. Thanks bro. My first refusal came on a weekend.

Reason for Refusal: Finance.

GCMS: I had a govt scholarship from Nig but the state govt didn't state the exact amount being offered in the award letter. So VO had concerns about availability of fund and also noted I didn't attach my salary account, so VO said I didn't show history of personal funds.

PS: however little the balance, attach your salary account Stmt.

Oyesquare10:
Kai!
PPR on Saturday, please enjoy the weekend to the fullest.
Congratulations!!!!!!
Please come back later to share the first applicationrefusal reasons and how you tackled it.
Less I forget, I salute your courage to re apply without GCMS notes.

Hey guys,

PPR at last.

First Application (NSE): Applied 27th Oct 2020 and Refused 25th Apr 2021.
Second Application. (reapplied without GCMS notes so as to beat the 15th May Deadline)
13th of May: Submitted
1st June: Eligibility Review: Started
14th June: Medical passed

13th July: Received GCMS note for the first refusal and sent a follow-up letter to IRCC on July 14th
30th July: Noticed a missing document in my application which I had declared in my LOE and emailed it to IRCC
31st July: PPR and BVL
Many thanks to my friends Ijeanwuli, Oluwayemisi0507, and of course Boss Frankrobbn who took out their time to review my LOE and follow-up letter. And as many as those that are expecting their testimony, God will perfect it IJN, Amen.
PS: I’ll be dropping my checklist soon in case someone needs that info.

God will do it for you, I like the spirit. You can raise a webform and submit the TRF when it finally arrives, there's no single path to this thing, we all need the grace of God on this journey.

It will surely end in praise.

I've sent it like that. I called IELTS British council customer care line and was told the result will be delivered between now and next week. I had to use it like that. Having gone through numerous posts, I concluded that unconventional methods sometimes work and I believe it will work for me. I appreciate your post tho.

Good evening house, I just uploaded my IELTS TRF

I noticed there was no link for me to upload new MBS as they didn't require it, but my balance has improved from $28k when I applied to about $32k now.

Do u think I shld go ahead and raise a web form to submit an updated MBS or just leave it since they didn't request for it?

Your opinions are welcome plz.

Hello house, has anyone else received the IOM letter calling off upfront medical? I booked last week against 10th Dec, before I heard the gist here tht no more upfront. Although I'm yet to get a letter canceling the appointment but I'm worried about wasting my money flying to Lag and back just for nothing.

I'll appreciate if anyone else can confirm coz their numbers are not reachable.

According to a tweet made by IRCC to SDS applicants, they accept both Academic and GT for study permit processing. I registered for IELTS GT

I think the issue of IELTS type applies when it's required by your school for admission.

*I stand to be corrected

Akannitommy:
Please, is the issue of Academic Vs. General Test Type for NSE requirement resolved? What is the correct position please?

The instruction says: You must submit a proof of: your International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Submit a language test result that shows a score of 6.0 or higher in each skill (reading, writing, speaking and listening) on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS).

My initial statement wasn't upto 30k cad but current balance is upto 30k cad and the inflow was captured in some legal documents previously uploaded in my application

DCNM:
I submitted mybankstatement ticket ID last month but my balance has improved and that was explained in my LOE that I was expecting some funds.

Should I upload a new mybankstatement ticket? Showing improved balance alongside my IELTS that was requested for NSE.
Please advise

I'm a banker please kindly ask your account officer to verify his info and for the sake of others who may want to hinge their hopes on this, below are the requirements for PTA application for which students are currently ineligible.

Applicants shall be eighteen (18) years of age and above.
Sales of PTA shall be for travel to be undertaken not more than 14 days from the
day of the purchase of PTA.
Applicants could be account holders or non-account holders in the bank.
PTA shall only apply to journeys of not less than five (5) hours flight time.
Applicants shall present verifiable BVNs to their bankers.
Applicants shall have valid visa of the country of destination.
Applicants shall have a return air ticket.
Applicants shall be holders of valid Nigerian International Passport.
The flight must originate from Nigeria.
Applicants shall be entitled to $4,000.00 per quarte

Akannitommy:
Students are eligible unless this is a new policy (change). I bought PTA twice as a student 10 years ago and I used a one-way ticket. I am not sure about the policy on 1-way or 2-way ticket being an eligibility criteria either based on personal experience and confirmation with my account officer just now. All they need is a valid ticket, valid visa, valid passport for more than 6-months and equivalent (Naira) cash in your bank account. The processing speed will however be determined by the availability of $. So the advice I got was to send in my request as soon as possible because it would on first come, first served basis. So your travel plans may be the only thing that will prevent you from getting the $4,000 PTA @ CBN rate. I could be wrong but that is what I know and also validated by my account officer.

Education / Join My ACCA Study Group In ASABA by DCNM(m): 10:01pm On Dec 09, 2018
Having moved to Asaba a couple of months ago, i sought for an ACCA study center in Asaba, Delta state only to find out there is non, however i believe there are others in this town, who are interested in the ACCA and may not find it easy (like myself) to travel to Warri, Benin or PH every weekend for classes. I've come up with the idea of forming a study group (NOT CENTER) with whoever would be interested.
