Congrats.

Your first CSE was raised how many months Post - AOR?

JUST TO SAY THANK YOU

I want to thank you all for your kinds words of support, congratulations and the "Likes".

I am still waiting for the Golden Mail, and as I have promised, I will surely give a lenghty and detailed write-up for the Testimony soon as the Eagle lands.

Also, just to spice things up, the next day after the first CSE, I raised another asking specifically for the current stages in my application and the below was the response;

Your application meets the eligibility requirements under the immigration program for which you have applied,

The background verifications are currently valid.
The security background verification is currently valid.
The criminal background verification is currently valid.

· Your application is currently being processed at the Case Processing Centre (CPC-O) in Ottawa, Ontario.

I read that once you have all "Valid" (as above) - Then, this is a strong indication that you've been cleared and Review completed - PPR next.

I will be posting some useful tips for post-AOR and I hope this help those in the pool and others in the future.

How to know your Visa Office (VO) post AOR - Raise a CSE/Webform.
1) Fill in all your application details
2) Ask/Tell them specifically what you would like to know in clear terms e.g which visa office is processing your application, application status, specific details (Eligibilty, Background check, Security etc.) or to update them on something new concerning your application (birth, job, location etc)
3) They will usually respond within a week.
4) Use the link below

https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx

And, to those who are yet/about to submit, please make your application correct and concise - That is, keep it simple but complete.

So, once again bro and sis, thank you.

I hope this is helpful. And, I'll like to thank you for reading.

Good day peeps,

A quick one. How many months Post - AOR do we think is the best time to raise CSE to inquire about ones VO from IRCC?

It shall end in praise.

Hello everyone. Good afternoon. I just submitted my application about 2hrs ago (family of 3) and got AOR almost immediately. Just few minutes ago, I got a mail, checked my profile and it was Biometrics Instruction Letter for Myself and my husband.

Is it always that fast or am I mixing things up?

Sorry, if I may ask. Are you in Nigeria? If yes, have you been able to book for the Biometrics?

Hi good morning to you all.
I have a question bordering me and I would appreciate a speedy response.
My little sister got ITA, has started filling her application and only medicals left but to this #stay at home probability of getting it done on the 16th of April is slim. Can she pay RPRF, Biometric & Application fee so she can submit?
Or can someone help with Qlife for change of date as their number isn't going through and no response so far to the email sent.
Thanks in anticipation of your kind response.

Let her attach the proof of booking of medical appointment and payment if possible. Then explain in LOE why she cannot do it before her ITA expires. But she may be required to add an evidence to show why the test won't go on. E.g, an email or a screenshot from their website showing they have shutdown at this time due to Covid. Let her submit her application.

Later, she can raise a CSE and upload the E- information medical form after taking the medical test.

Others would add their opinions.

Good evening peeps,

In our e-APR, there is no placeholder to attach our LOE as an additional document. How can we rectify this before final submission and payment?

Thank you

Good morning to everyone, need our advice on something please. I have asked on the FSW thread, but am tempted to ask here again owing to the fact that the seniors here have passed through this stage entirely. Will appreciate our insights.

We are about submitting our application but just discovered an issue in relation to my wife who is the PA. We discovered we made a mistake in the duration of her work experience for 2 out of 4 employers. It was a mix up while we were filling up the EE profile as we were not with the reference letters at the time. For 1, we wrote Sept to Sept instead of Nov to Nov. The second was supposed to be Dec to March, but we wrote Nov to March. We discovered this after receipt of the employers' reference letters.

Now my questions as to the best course of action to take:
1. Should we go on to use the duration stated on the reference letters and explain the reason for the discrepancy in the LOE? What is the effect of admitting that we made a mistake while we were filling the EE profile pre - ITA?

2. Should we decline this ITA, then modify our information in tandem with the duration in the reference letters, so we are back into the pool in expectation of the next draw? Our CRS is 476. So we avoid any explanation through the LOE.

3. Should we delete our profile altogether and create an entirely new one to avoid a situation where the VO notices in our archives a lot of discrepancies, declining of an ITA and so forth. We do not want any complications in our application?

Thank you while awaiting our responses as usual.

Good morning peeps, a quick request for guidance.

Is there a need to repeat work experience accumulated during studies, already stated under work history, in personal history again? I am asking because the duration of the studies would have covered the work experience period stated under personal history.

Thank you

How early should I apply for medicals and what hospital is better, because IOM doesn't seem to have an online presence and the next available appointment date for Q-Life is 1st of April? My 60 days expires on 20th April. Guru's in the house please help me with this.

Good evening guys, please lawyers in the house who have evaluated their credentials with wes, is it compulsory you must also process and send your law school transcript?
For those that did not process law school transcript, please did that exclusion affect your application in your EE profile by reducing your points??
Please someone kindly help out, I am at cross roads on whether to add law school details on my wes profile and send the documents or just leave it so far as it does not have consequences.

IT IS NOT COMPULSORY BUT WILL REDUCE YOUR POINTS TO JUST 4 YEARS COURSE AND NOT PROFESSIONAL DEGREE. If you have a masters, just evaluate only that for better points, if not, others will answer as to best ECA agency to use as IQAS is currently unavailable.

those additional documents have been requested from some people in the past not all. so people just attach ab initio. submit the reference letter only the visa officer may or may not ask for additional . i submitted only ref letter and from my gcms notes all the officer did was to check online for company's existence and checked the duties with the NOC , that was all.

Okay. Thank you. I pray the ref letter will suffice.

CIC requires only reference letter in the specified format. It id when you can't get in the correct format, you attach other documents. Pls go through IRCC website for more info.

Thank you for your response. Please I want to be clear.

Are you saying if one is able to get reference letters written in the specified format, one may do away with any additional documents?

Good day peeps,

A quick clarification please.

My wife has 3 years experience from 4 different establishments. She has full details for 2 out of the 4 with regards to employment records that covers 2 years. With regards to the remaining 2 which covers 1 year, she has no pay slips (she was paid cash) nor employment letters. But she can secure reference letters from them.

My question: Will reference letters only from these 2 establishments suffice to prove her work 1 year experience in them without any other docs? What is the best way to go about this?

if spouse work experience is not from canada it has no points. So only include it as personal history post ita

Thank you for your swift response. But would I need to include any reference letters during final submission post - ITA?

Good morning to everyone,

A quick question please. After submitting the EE profile, I realised that CIC did not give me any score for Foreign work experience (I included just 4 years though) as an accompanying spouse though we still had 476.

My questions:

1. Can I remove all my work experience pre -ITA (since there is no score for it anyways) and add them post - ITA?

2. If 1 above is yes, can I decide not to add any employment reference letters post - ITA during submission since it was not considered during CRS score considerations?

3. Any negative implications for the above. For example, will it mean that I am concealing a vital information or misrepresenting myself though am not the PA? Or would one be deemed to have zero - experience after landing in Canada during job search?

Thank you all for your urgent responses as always.

Anyone with an idea as to when the next draw could take place?

If the 6 months experience is in NOC A B or O, you can add it. Does she have NYSC experience ? Are the jobs within the last ten years? Job expérience can be in different NOCs.

Simulate your score with her 3 years experience. If the scores are high enough, You mat not need to rewrite IELTS.

Thank you. NYSC is part of the 3 years. With her 3 years, we are at 486 CRS score.

I think you should redo Ielts. Your wife as PA with a 461 doesnt cut it in this current crs cutoff we see. Max out Ielts, 480 is a better score.

Really appreciated

1. If the other 6 months is in NOC A, B or 0 and occurred within the last ten years, you can add it. There should be a continuous work period at of at least on year within the 2 yrs 9 mos work experience that she has.

2. You can redo if you add her work experience and points aren't enough, or if the 6 mos experience isn't within A, B or 0, or if you just want to grab extra points.

3. Yes

Thank you for your response.

you can add the 6 months, it dosent need to be directly related to her NOC

Thank you for your response. But am reading on the cic website that the experience that counts has to be related to your NOC. Can I have your reference please?

And has anyone else done this i.e. adding a non - NOC related experience to accumulate total years experience required?

Hello house,

Good morning to all. Been a silent reader for some days now. I must confess that I joined Nairaland because of this thread few days ago.

I want to seek an advice from the more experienced please. Myself and my wife have done our ECA already and we have the reports with us. My IELTS results is L8 R6 S7.5 W8. Hers is L8 R9 S8 W7. We both have age on our side. I have about 6 years experience related to my NOC, she has about 2years 9 months related to her NOC while about 6 months not directly related. If I am the PA, our CRS is 422 due to the reading score in IELTS, if she is the PA, the CRS is 461 due to experience not up to 3 years in her NOC. We do not intend to go through the route of PNP. We want to explore EE squarely.

My questions?
1. Can we add the other 6 months experience as part of the 3 years required for her or it has to be strictly related to her NOC?

2. Do we advise that I re do my IELTS and aim for an higher score so that if I am the PA with a better results, our CRS will be around 480 thereabouts?

3. Can I open EP with her as the PA for now then decide to delete it later if we decide to use me as the new PA after my IELTS?

Thank you for your awaited responses.
