Just for me to get an email from jamb that my application was not approved because I tried registering again

truth is... if you are re register and you are hoping to use it for admission this year babe he no possible... jamb are so annoying... I realise I am not the only one with that issue... yours na even D's year mine na since November 2018..and the jamb reg had cause more harm than good to me... the last time I had travelled down to jamb office in ikoyi that place that looks.... that was the same day I had fallen Ill since then I have just let Go and let God... biko.. find other options... that jamb reg won't show.. except if you know somebody on abuja that can help you but if it is in iikoyii. .gbagbee they would tell you what u don't want to hear

Don't really get your point. Were you not able to register for the DE?
At least every registration comes with a number. Won't jamb treat those applications that has only it's current registration number?
I learned that you can do data correction to change from 'other diploma' to whatever A-level result you are using with about 3k.
I don't know how true is this claim, but it worth trying. Your sincere and prompt response may help other aspirants here.

okay truth is... other diploma can be changed to OND provided jamb had sent you your jamb regularization number as for me I haven't received mine yet... and with the course I picked and school I chose.. other diploma no carry weight... what the essence of having my OND when na other diploma I go dy use dy process moreover I have given it up jamb shaa did their own...... God is still on the throne

Please I need a God fearing answer ..during the jamb direct entry registration I wasn't able to get my jamb regularization number and I put in for "other diploma "...instead in putting for OND which I ordinarily have in mind to use but couldn't because I don't have the jamb reg no.. fast forward to today I still haven't gotten my jamb reg no... tried all my efforts still not working out...
My question is with this OTHER DIPLOMA that I used is it advisable I use it for my direct entry because I chose funaab and fuoye... and it is alleged that without the jamb reg no... I wouldn't be admitted because no school admit candidate that uses OTHER DIPLOMA. who can shed light on this please?

oh... this post... seriously dude... I was also told to put in another fresh application and I was like do I have time on my side... when the school I chose are already selling their forms

what about me that I did mine since November 2018 only to be told by jamb that I will make another payment of 5k....like now no regularization number for my DE and can't do a DE seriously... it depressing

moreover I used other diploma when registering for the DE with the hope of doing change of data when the jamb reg comes out

This might be a long read guys pls don't be angry with me. I have been a guest on Nland for a while but decided to create this monicker for this purpose.

So this all started when i entered the university in fact i'm now in my finals but as it is now i'm laying on my bed facing the ceiling and we have a test going on in class, i have missed about 3 tests since this semester started but i don't seem to feel alarmed by that, i'll probably have an extra year too the way i'm going but i can't just push myself to get up and read and to wash my uniform being a law student.

Now i feel this is partially because of the fact that i have come to believe school is not for me...i have never been a bright student right from primary school...when i entered the uni as a freshman i had the dreams every fresher had which is to come out with a first class and i worked very hard for it, went for night class every day without sleeping even for a minute, but any time grades came out i always come out at the bottom of the food chain.

I have tried hard to demystify the exact cause of my failure in academics but found no answers, could it be my hand writing, or i don't understand what i read or i'm not good in cramming textbook case laws and sections, or could it be because my brain is just not acclimatized to school and the rigours that come with it.

I have put in effort to handle all these supposed problems but none if them have come to fruition, even to the point that i bought a handwriting book to help improve my handwriting ...yeah i was that desperate



Reality dawned on me tho when my year 2 and 3 results were nothing to write home about...then i started losing interest...hardly go to class even though there is a test...i always say to myself stupidity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results so if i can read and study so much without being able to secure even a C in my courses then i'd rather not try.

Its funny tho that in my year 4 i made more than half a million rendering freelance services to people online...this also fueled my loss of interest in school, I'd rather be committed to something that pays me. I feel bad for mum tho, she put in all this effort to make me learned and give me a good future and she has already started saving for my law school but i know deep down that i am a nut case and can't ever compete with my peers academically.

I have tried my best in fact i'm crying right now, school has always made me feel like a lesser human, i always come out last...i really don't know what to do with life anymore ...i mean why is life so partial and unfair, why can't i be like those bright students...

I brought this here because i believe my Nairaland family will help me get through this terrible faze of my life.

I'll really appreciate if more people get to see this

Went to ikoyi with a friend of mine who happen to be on that list got there.. the lady herself was shocked we hadn't received it okay she sent our details to some superior officer there and we we're told before the end of that week we will...

seriously if there are certain persons here on nairaland that can pull some strings on this issue I will be glad... Thank you very much in anticipation

He said I should go back to the school I obtained the form from and complain that there is a slight chance they didn't send the document to jamb office... went to my poly April 12..realised that it has been sent to jamb since December 5 2018...and a proof was shown to me which I snapped... realised couple of names was also on that list and none of us had received our jamb reg no... okay fast track to last week Wednesday

As funny as it sound... I have got no chill pill for this... I created a thread several months ago on this jamb regularization number... I have applied since November 2018...submitted indemnity form to the registrar of the poly I passed out from was told after three weeks I will receive my jamb reg no via email till this present date I haven't seen anything...purchased the DE form without putting the jamb reg no hoping before middle of the year I will get it... last month I called a jamb official and complained... lo and behold he gave me the most shocking news I never expected

I have a little knowledge about this and trust me... you are worrying about about what isn't meant to be... first the school you chose for your DE... would advertise their form and you pick the form they can decide to conduct exam or not... t up to the respective schools you picked... and after you are admired they will do their thing and let jamb know you have been admitted... so trust me... no near that ikoyi cause jamb itself they annoy me... but your own issue is just something simple



and that post you saw was when DE candidates still write exams but this days they don't... are you okay with my little info
