@Cellular...I am a doctor looking to join the government employment and offcourse still stay in the private sector cos thats the only way we make ends meet..I don't plan to join lagos state workforce sha...that's why I have been doing my study on other states and their pay.
If lagos state employed over 800 docs in last 3 years and they sacked over 1000 doctors now does it mean that it was just over 200 that were in the workforce before 3 years ago? Do the maths...the govt just write different craps and I'm disappointed you beleive such rubbish.

Ogun state pays 200k minimum, Oyo pays 210k, ondo pays 195k and all these states are with very little tax. You think doctors are stupid? if they offer me 400k for that job, i wont take it. Do we look like slaves? All over the world doctors are the highest paid and they can afford basics. in Naija as a doctor you cant even send your children to the best school. They say doctors have more than one job. Saxywale. your are the daftest human being ive seen this year. let me enlighten you a bit. Ondo state still pays 90k to nysc doctors.im currently serving in Lagos where im paid 40k a month as compared to an Ondo corper doctor. We earn more during house job than NYSC. So there is no sense comparing a corper doctor salary to a non corper doctor salary. Ondo state pays 195k to fresh Medical officer, while lagos pays 180k. tax in onodo state is about 10k, in lagos you pay about 40k. please when you talk, talk with some common sense.

Very interesting.I have been opportuned to visit the UK a copule of times.I will like to say Nigerians in the Uk are very stingy but honestly i dont blame them.The life they live over there is harder than the one we live here.I normally stay with my cousin anytime i travel.He is a university student over there but he works more than 20hrs/wk.I can say i pity him so much when i see him wake up in the morning going to work instead of skool and come back at night very hungry all in the name of paying bills.His bills in a month is about 700 pounds out of 1000 pound he earns.When i see Nigerians abroad sometime,tears flow volountarily from my eyes becos of the life they are living.WE ARE ENJOYING IN NIGERIA O.Please if they dont pick up your calls,forgive them.Even my parents complain that i dont call regularly when i travel.Its just how the place is.I dont pray to live that kind of life o.The last time i travelled i was even the peron that bought chinese food for my cousins in London.I will like to say here that i dont belong to the rich in Nigeria.My parents are civil servants and i am a student.
