assu2013:Don't mind the OP jare, l had an experience during my Msc days... there is this particular professor in my department, he will never show up for class, his project students cant even access him, you rarely see him and he's like a mini God in the department in a public uni...and this same professor is the same guy that lectured me in some courses when I was an undergraduate in a private uni, I had full time access to him, we use to have one on one conversation...... so whats the OP point, when your lecturers wont even come to class because they are in a private uni lecturing there |

@ OP, keep deceiving yourself, ask your professors and lecturers that kept making life difficult for students in public universities where their children are? A lot of them send their kids to private uni......#Teamprivateuni# |

Sports / Eagles: Disbanded Team Lined Up For S’korea Friendly by dejavu009: 4:12pm On Jul 21, 2010 |
The disbanded Super Eagles that failed to reach the knockout stage of the 2010 World Cup have been listed to play South Korea in a friendly game scheduled to hold on August 11. The Nigeria Football Federation said it would commit itself to rebuilding the team with new players as it instructed coach Augustine Eguavoen to take charge while coach Lars Lagerback was on leave. Eguavoen however said he would consider some of the players in the disbanded squad as he prepares for the friendly game. He said, “Lagerback is still the boss and whatever decision we take now is a collective one,” Eguavoen told our correspondent on the telephone on Tuesday. ”I‘m aware of the government‘s decision on the team but the situation is about understanding our position. The list includes some of the players that featured at the World Cup but I still have to present this to the NFF and explain why it is so. ”We have a short time to the Nations Cup qualifier against Madagascar in September and this is the only opportunity we have to see how we can rebuild the team.” Reacting to the development, Director- General, National Sports Commission Patrick Ekeji said he was not aware of the plan to bring back the players. He told our correspondent on the telephone on Tuesday that the government‘s decision to disband the team was final. He said, ”There is no reason to bring the same players back to the team. We expect the NFF to come up with the plans to present a new team for the country and I don‘t think this is difficult. ”The decision to disband the Eagles was taken in South Africa and everyone agreed to it.” Meanwhile, South Korea have insisted that the friendly game must feature at least 50 per cent of the World Cup squad. ”This is the acceptable practise around the world because their request is borne out of the need to make the match a commercially viable project,” mtnfootball.com quoted a South Korea Football Association official as saying on Tuesday. |

had sum xperience in Rivers during my NYSC years there, i served in a community where LNG paid them like 40 million naira, and the community leaders will share the money within them self, in this same community there is no electricity but they wont ask lng or whoever to provide for them all they wait for is LNG money to share everytime and they kept blaming FG everytime. There is a bad road from Lagos bustop in portharcourt to ibeto cement factory, the chairman of the cement factory wanted to fix the bad road, the youth of that area actually stop the contractor and they demanded for 20 million naira from the chairman of the cement factory that he has to pay them before he can fix the road. the road he actually wanted to fix for them. but seriously communities in Niger Delta area lacks good leaders as well, |

@denex in page 11 thank you! at least am happy that one true nigerian can fire all those people supportin oprah statement, oprah has done this oprah has done that, how those it affect us in nigeria come to think of it most of the nairalanders supportin her re mostly abroad! fine we know we ve corrupt leaders,419,scammers etc, But have u look at how populated we re: out of 150 million people at least 5 million will be corrupt, even out of 12 disciples of jesus, we still ve one bad egg. so u can't generalize us as bein all corrupt Are americans not corrupt!didn't Bush rigg the election. see the victim or magas that fall prey to scammers re also thievies, if u check out the ways d yahoo boyz or so called scammers operate, u will see they don't force u, u see offers without adequate verfication and u go for it, u re a thief urself. A t least am happy in nigeria we don't have high percentage of children that got involve in drug at early age.I was in East london sumtimes back what i saw there kept me thinkin for days. see young children ,11yrs old or thereabout already nvolve in drugs alot of children like that.join gangs at a very young age. a lot of youth that don't even know what they want in life.carrying guns up and down and u people come back here shouting naija is bad! atleast an average 9ja youth knows what he want in life. u people should tell oprah to mind her statement if she is rich, fine! she should use that to insult us |

well am sure oprah is angry because a nigerian"Dangote" said he's richer than her, she is kind of responding to dangote statement in "grande style" can't u see she mention the 'no matter the level of thier ed ucation" i pity her, she thought she's is the most richest blackperson in the universe, am sure she is surprise to hear that another black man,a nigerian is richer than her that's is why she make that response to defend herself Am a Nigerian, And am Proud to be one, Despite the nonsense ve encounter in heartrow,Am still pround of my Nigerian Passport. make them talk"Nigerian re corrupt: anyhow na we still get Money pass, make person tell oprah make she no vex more the NEXT RICHEST PERSON IN THE WORLD IS GOING TO BE A NIGERIAN |
