Man Utd has really supported Ten Hag this transfer window.

A striker, 3 defenders & a midfielder plus 3 additional assistants.

No excuse, he needs to wrestle the title off Man City.
Sorry for asking this question, pls which midfielder are you talking about

The law is meant for minimum wage and not living wage.

It is not about what the employees want but what the employer can afford.

so because it fo minimum wage, that is why the government is offering 60k with what is on ground.. I don't know what else to say

NLC is a confused lot. How can they advocate for a minimum wage that is unrealistic?
what nlc is advocating for is not the 476000 as per say. What they are advocating for by proposing that figure is so that the federal government could give a reasonable figure. But look at what the government is putting out.

This Labour people self.
President Tinubu made his initial mistakes in decision taking without advisers and ministers.
Allow him learn from the mistakes and put things better. We know that the present monthly salaries of workers are peanuts compared to inflation rate. But worsening the situation with strikes is not it.
I am an Obidient. Mahmood Yakubu and Bola Tinubu robbed us Obidients our victory last presidential election.
Do you know what that mistake has cost. Life has been destroy. Marriages broken. And you said we should allow learn from it. He should make another mistake by substaincially increase the minimum wage

Maybe government will take labour seriously now. Due to useless policies, the price of fuel increased more than 300 percent. Dollar increased more than 300. Food stuff increased more than 300 percent. And you want Nigeria workers to settle an amount that is not up to 100 percent of the current price of things. Is that not wickedness. Present something better and labour will accept

Why can't the labour be serious for once?
why can't the government be considerate for once. I am not supporting the 497,000 labour is putting out, but if the government put something considerate, labour will listen. What labour is doing is that they know that the government would present something smaller if they had presented a smaller figure. Let the government be serious and present a better figure. 60k is small compare to how they lavish money and there huge salary

Politics / Re: Even If Labour Strike Till Next Year, Government Can't Pay More Than 85k Minimum by delkuf(m): 1:11pm On Jun 01
SadiqBabaSani:
Labour should proceed with the strike, but realistically speaking considering the huge Government wage bill it cannot pay more than 85k as minimum wage.

They only way Government can afford that is when it decides to sack workers like more than half or to pay on 24hours basis where workers will work 3 days weekly and receive salary for those days.
huge government wage bill. How many percent of that huge government wage bill, are paid to civil servants. The senator and house of representatives and the government are collecting more than half of the wage, but when it is time for increase in minimum wage, you will be hearing jargons.

Instead make dem ask for Price control and think of better interventions dem dey think of how to go on Strike because dem no like who be the current NG Leader but laslas we all go learn.
so it is the minimum wage that has not been increased that has reduced the purchasing power. I don't know how we Nigerian thinks. When tinubu was bringing out those policies that has increased inflation and spoiled the economy, you guys were not shouting purchasing power. Now, that it is for the masses, they are shouting purchasing power

PrinceofSarcasm:

The government is not cutting back on excess spending. I know you're not unaware of current events, so surely you know that Tinubu just approved N90 billion for the Hajj pilgrimage! This pilgrimage is primarily attended by top politicians, their families, and friends.

Secondly, he approved half a trillion naira (N500 billion) for a committee to deliberate on the minimum wage issue. Does this sound like cutting back to you?

Do I need to show you the extravagant wages of the House of Representatives, the Senate, and their numerous executive aides and PAs?

The president and VP combined have on payroll 65 advisers and special advisers!! Whats absurdity is that? I have long given up on Tinubu doing anytjhing positive and his acts show he is extremely insincere and corrupt

This government is just insincere in its claims of austerity and cost-cutting measures.
thank you for this. We the masses are our own problem. When it is the government, no problem. But when it is the masses, haaaaa, inflation will reach the sky. God should help me let me leave this country
