Congratulations!

Thanks ...visas issued. 6 months for mum and 5 years for son. Only that son's visa stamped with valid only if accompanied by my mum. Not sure how that will work!

I think your ban started in 2010 when you refused to disclose the previous application in 2006. Read the last part of your refusal letter again.

What doc? Passport? Cos I was barred from entry in 2006 due to fake passport issued by immigration. I think it's OK for you to reapply. The ban should have been from 2006.

Thanks everyone for contributing to this great institution because for me nairaland is more than a forum. Today i got back my 2 kids passports with their visa while waiting for my wife's own.
Biometrics was done 2.8.17 at ikeja got Sheffield email on 15th decided on 20th on ukvi. tls update on 21 and 22 no mail regarding the wife's own but decided same day.

Congrats, Yours is pretty fast as well. Did you get a letter of IV or you did an hotel booking? Still waiting for my son and mums passports almost 2 months after. Trying to understand the cause of delay as my son is not a first time applicant.

Decided on 14th August(though yet to know the decision)
Am a first timer and I applied standard visitors visit visa.

Today I got this mail from TLScontact.

Dear ..........................................................,

UK Visas & Immigration has now assessed your UK visa application and made a decision. Your documents and

the decision will be sent back to either the UK Visa Application Centre where you applied, where we will

contact you by email over the next few days to collect them, or if you are using the courier return service, will

be sent directly back to the address you provided.

Please note that TLScontact does not know the outcome of the assessment and has played no role in the

decision-making process.

Kind regards,

TLScontact
UK VIsas & Immigration

When did you apply?
Did you also get the message earlier that they won't be able to make a decision within their 15 working days target?

Got this earlier today as well.. I guess we are on the decision queue now

Dear Sir/Madam

Thank you for applying for a UK visa.

We wrote to you recently to explain that we have been unable to make a decision on your application within our normal timescale. Due to it being our busiest period, I am afraid we need longer to make a decision.

Please do not go to the Visa Application Centre until you have received written confirmation that a decision has been made on your application and that your passport is ready to be collected. Staff at the visa

Hi everyone,

I was banned for 10years in 2006. Now that the ban has ended in 2016, I will like to apply for UK visit visa again with the hope of clearing my profile with UK embassy. Every advise and opinion will be appreciated. Thank you.

Give it shot... I got a similar issue in 2006 due to a fake passport issued by the NIS. I applied in 2011 and got lucky. It's worth a try.
