Op, you shouldn't have said anything about the camera. It is obvious you are not techcy.

Here are the flaws in that number 1 section,

1 All cameras on phones are digital

2 the mp has nothing to do with the image quality. It is the pixels

3 not all digital cameras would give quality pictures

4 you didn't even advice to adjust the camera settings based on condition

5 you never mentioned motion effect which is the number one enemy of image quality.

You are the one who is wrong here. MP is short for MegaPixels and it affects the image quality. Also, by digital camera, the author was referring to a dedicated camera which often has better quality pictures due to the availability of space for a bigger and sharper lens.

Very true bro. All I see are sad people who have no choice but to do as they are told. Take a close look at their faces. Also, the orderliness and uniformity of their poses shows that it was not a willing act.

You guys utter all these tribalistic comments because you enjoy the anonymity provided by social media. Let me ask you a question:

Would you be proud to make these comments or be associated with them if you were being interviewed for an international position for a multinational? Would you be proud to post these comments on your linkedin profile?

I just used that as a scenario. You should really consider if you want to be associated with these statements in several other scenarios where your image and what you stand for can be called to question. Social media is not as anonymous as you might think. Just think of the possibilities provided by hacking.

Always remember that the Internet never forgets.

No fight bro, just a food-for-thought. All the best.

I’m eternally grateful to Seal and Simon for saying the words I needed to hear: that I deserved to be on the show based on my voice, not just my story.

Good one from the judges. We all want to be sure our achivements are not borne out of pity but because we deserve them.

Afonja skullminers and people from the wastern region at work again.
Na their work, soft work.

The level of ethnic bigotry amomg nigerian youths - the so-called leaders of tomorrow - amazes me. One thing you guys fail to realize is that the outside world sees all of us as nigerians. They don't see Igbo. They don't see Yoruba, neither do they see Hausa. All the criminal activities nigerians get involved in shape how the world perceives us. Instead of celebrating over the fact that one particular tribe "has the monopoly" of ritualists, drug pushers, kidnappers, Internet fraudsters or terrorists, we should all join hands to condemn these acts. Understand this:

When a Yoruba man dupes innocent victims of their hard-earned money, the world sees every nigerian (not just the Yorubas) as a potential internet fraudster.

When an Igbo man carries hards drugs across a foreign country's border, the world sees every nigerian (not just the Igbos) as a potential drug-peddler.

When a Hausa man blows up innocent worshippers, the world sees every nigerian (not just the Hausas) as a potential terrorist.

So, when next you are looked upon with suspicion because of the nigerian passport you hold, remember that you had the opportunity to make a difference (howbeit tiny) by condemning such acts but you chose to look away (and rather chose to be consumed by ethnic bigotry) because it was not committed by "one of your own".

Let's be wise!

Good Evening. I camped in Taraba Batch 14C but relocated to Oyo.
If you're going from Lagos, DON'T go alone cos the journey is more than a day and you might be required to sleep in the bus. So go in groups.

To be on the safer side. If u know someone in Abuja, u can spend the night there and continue your journey the next day. From Abuja (Nyanyan car park) to Jalingo is 12 hours plus.

Lastly, when u see a sign board saying 'Welcome to Taraba State', don't give yourself hope that u're there already cos u have 3 hours before you get to Jalingo.

For the ones that can afford flight ticket.
Buy a plane ticket going to Yola. It was 26k, don't know about now. You'll have stopover in Abuja before u get to Yola. From Yola to Jalingo is approximately 3 hours. Those cab guys might want to scam you, tfare from Yola to Jalingo is 1k.

Don't know how the weather is at this time of the year but be prepared for hot sun at 6am and extreme cold in the midnight too.

Camp was fun for me, Make it fun for yourself

Note: Its very easy for u to redeploy from Taraba but u might not be taken to where u want

Boss, which airline?

ello everyone.
Am Samuel batch C corp member serving presently in jalingo.
Don't be scared though it's very far but seriously it's a good place.
Call me 08067359287.
For any info.
Thanks.
If you are in Lagos, you can get a flight or bus.
A flight cost like 26k to Yola and from Yola to Jalingo is like 2k and 5hours.
Buses
Samfan or fair plus load directly from Lagos to Taraba State at 7,500 and is 23-26hours.
Don't be panic, no attack or crisis.
It's a Christian state though they have issues but not at the expenses of the corpers.
I will say again congratulations.
If you want to redeploy back come with your documents is as easy as sleeping and wake up.
And if you are staying prepare your mind.
You can call me or whatsapp me.

Which airline sir?

Please, what can I do if I have submitted my ID card in school but I have my certificate? Will they still ask for the ID card at the orientation camp even though I have my certificate?

Thanks @op, but what will those that have lost the temporary card do? I misplaced mine and I'm no longer in the state where I did the reg.

Is the any hope of getting mine?

Yes. According to the google group forum, go to the INEC office in your local government with a passport photograph and fill an incident form, and you will get your PVC. Check the list of LG offices here : http://voters.inecnigeria.org/static/lgas/
