@Ashiri_IQ, The best thing is to wait. Dont start deducing anything. Mine is 6 weeks 4 days today and I am also waiting. We are in the same shoes. I've not checked my status online though.

I asked for the status of my application without any prior knowledge of ref number, that is i didnt know they have ref number to track application online. Now that u have that priviledged info. mail them asking for the status of your application and still go ahead to ask for a ref number to be able to track online. Quote your full name, they will respond in 3 days

They just replied me with my case number. They said no decision has been made on my application yet. Lets keep our fingers crossed and hope for the best. God go do am.

@keloserial, thanks. I'd do just that. What about calling them? Mine is 6 weeks plus and no news yet. I'm getting worried. I'm thinking of waiting for 2 more weeks before I start contacting them. I believe I'd get a notification before 8 weeks.

@Keloserial, what is their email address? I did not see any email address when I checked their website. I only saw their phone number. They said they are not replying emails for now.

I cant believe I read this thread from the first post to the last. One thing I like about nairaland is that its a large community. A community is made up of different categories people. In it, we have intelligent people, shallow-minded people, gold-diggers, dull people, over-dull people, nice people, wicked people, blunt people, funny people, on and on like that. This thread has demonstrated what a community entails, having gone through the whole thread. The thread is so interesting that I had to stick to it as if I am reading a detective novel.

@Poster, lest I forget, you made mention of another thread you started, describing how you let a good man slip away. I think need to read the thread too. This thread is loaded with lots of advice (both the good, the bad and the ugly). Thank God you ate the apple in the garden of Eden and you know the difference between good and bad. In terms of every criteria, OSBC IS THE WORST TV STATION IN THE WORLD.

In terms of quality, no Nigerian TV station has it except NN24 with a manageable quality.

In terms of content, I'd give it to Silverbird and Channels

In terms of useless and stupid movies, it goes to MITV and Galaxy.

In terms of entertainment, superscreen, Silverbird and TVC dey try.

In terms of useless and senseless talks, AIT and NTA get that.

My best? I no get best TV station anywhere. I prefer Cartoon Network to any Nigerian Station. Lol. Dont get me wrong, cartoon network aint my best TV station. I have no best TV station.

Guy, its better you leave the money in your account until you are notified of your decision. What if the embassy rechecks your account before notifying you of the decision from swedish migration board? Leave the money in your account man.

@Poster, thanks for the clue. As for me, I have not installed a single anti-virus software on my system for the past one year and I don't use flash drive on it. If I need to transfer a large file, I use either wireless, Ethernet or CD-ROM drive. It works!! 90% of the new generation viruses are spread via the use of flash drives.

I wonder why Nigerians always give excuses for their lack of professionalism.
