Big Thanks to the everyone one in this forum, I've been a silent follower and I must say I gained all needed info here to apply for my visa personally without an agent and to God be the Glory I got my grant on the 24th of Oct. It was a long wait, infact the longest 9months of my life. I front loaded all and submitted my application on the 31st of Jan for Feb 20 resumption at James Cook University, unfortunately I couldn't get the visa before resumption and my course of study didn't have a mid year resumption so i had to wait for a whole year. Had lot of exchanges with my Case officer from requesting yellow card after 2weeks of submission to requesting a fresh 3months bank statement of me and my sponsor 2months after submission. My Uncle(not same surname, but did an affidavit) was my main sponsor and I used my account also as I had tangible amount domicile in the account. I declared upfront that I had been denied US study visa couple of time before. I got an s56 request to explain why I was denied, surprisingly like a month after I got an s57 natural justice to explain myself as US replied them that I could be a security risk. Was scared and had to dig deep in my response. Oh, did I tell u guys I still applied for US study visa during this wait, sincerely I didn't know what I was thinking but having a valid i20 with scholarship tempted me to do that, we all know how expensive Australia fee is. I provided a detailed explanation and luckily it was good enough. A week ago I was requested to provide new COE and health insurance which I did immediately and a week after I got the good news. N.B I made sure I wrote a Solid statement of purpose, adequate financial backing(fixed deposit certificates close to a 100million and few thousand of dollars in my dorm account), letter from a local Govt as voluntary worker since 2015, I served during my NYSC at the local Govt primary health centre and I continued offering my service there pro bono. Been denied by US 4times in a 2years span didn't deter me and shouldn't deter anyone, just make sure your documents are in proper order and most importantly seek God's favour and grace. Heading to James Cook University early next year, incase anyone here is there or applying to study there i would like to create contact. Best wishes to all awaiting and preparing to.
Hi All,

I trust you great! This is to motivate an individual out there.

Profile:

So I recently got my approval. All thanks to God. Inputs from this platform cannot be underrated as well.

Medicals was done upfront Oct. 26th, 2018
Application was submitted Nov. 16th, 2018
Biometrics followed Nov 19th, 2018.
Approval popped in Dec. 14th, 2018.
School: RMIT (AL1 Institution)

So; I simply submitted all documents required using the evidentiary document checklist tool. *Nothing Extra* Please, see link below.
https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/web-evidentiary-tool

In all, please, take time out in writing a very catching GTE (Statement of Purpose/Intent). This I believe have a great impact on one's application. Watch out for grammatical errors, wrong usage of words and above all, make sure you express yourself in your statement. Your passion and motivation driving you must be felt by the case officer *you must be articulate about it*. Thanks to @Nogara on this this one. He gave his input on mine.

Great to be part of this family. Please, never hesitate to buzz up if you need any clarification on your application. I am still learning; but will sure try my best in giving response to the best of my knowledge.

Cheers!

Congrats on your grant.....pls I want to make some enquiries from you, how can I reach you.
