She’s absolutely correct... mothers always causing issues for their son’s marriage is mainly because the son gave the mother the opportunity to interfere and meddle into their marriage affairs. Men must truly understand the saying in the Bible, that a man must leave his father and mother, to find his better half. Someone up there said GTB favours ashawo competition more than education, I laughed at his or her ignorance because he doesn't know how businesses operate. GTB is a profit making entity hence they invest in business that generate high revenue to them. Investment in education will not generate much because someone else would reap the benefits. Aside this, the so called ashawo competition is loved by many Nigerians so you don't expect GTB to throw their money on things that might not be beneficial to them.
Have you wondered why educational programs lack sponsorship? Viewership has been a limiting factor that had mitigated this problem. MTN started a spelling competition for your young kids, how many followed such game? Sample opinions, go through the phones of most Nigerian youths to see what they watch or listen to. Here are some of the benefits I see in this scheme.

2. Pay as you consume however, It doesn't stop your card from been exhausted before time. Infact the discos will be smiling to the bank when your card is exhausted before the stipulated time.
3. The disco might be forced to allocate more power supply to areas that generate more revenue as a result of high usage.
Aside these, there are some weaknesses in such scheme
1. Many Nigerians would will circumvent the system to have free energy.
2. The number of power hours allocated to your area might not change except the disco is benevolent enough.
3. There might be hoarding of metres
A big question that struck my mine is this, NERC( National Electricity Regulatory Commission) said when there is fault on the 33kva line, the disco are to rectify such problem within 24hrs. How many disco had keep to this rule? Will they be forced to comply or it would be business as usual?. Another is, would the disco replaced damaged transforma or they would rely on contribution from their customers?
