Politics / Re: Court Jails UNIZIK Ex-Lecturer For Defamatory Comments On Facebook by Digitalwitch: 10:53am On Aug 23, 2023
Luckysbab:
So the defamed can't defend himself? Why should a third party (the court) help him fight his fight? And what happened to the freedom of speech?

That above sounds foolish, right? This is exactly how Christians especially sound when they question why Muslims are angry over someone defaming the Prophet of Islam or other symbols of the religion.

Just like the court will intervene as the custodians of the professor's human rights of decency, so will the body of Islamic faithfuls intervene as the custodians of the customs and traditions of their Noble Prophet. The only clause being that individual adherents are not supposed to take laws into their hands, but rather refer to the Shari'a courts.

Freedom of expression should not be abused.
The bolded text is the reason why Islamic faithful are questioned.

When there's disconnection around an area, power is restored mostly the load/ consumption at that moment is reduced and it'll enable the marketers work especially on prepaid meters to know which ones are still functioning properly
But wen Una don collect bill finish d lite go off why?

I don't really get your question
Why is power stable during mass disconnection even if there is thunder storm ( why light dey steady wen Una wan cut light? D lite go stable even wen rain dey fall but go of after Una collect moni)

Torpman:
I work with EKEDC as an enumerator, the reason why you were given that disconnection order is because of the common practices of some customers bypassing their meter through those medium. It's very easy for a customer to tap from the wires in the condict without anyone knowing
Can you explain why your counterpart fight tooth and nail to supply electricity during the period of disconnection event though it rains cat and dog or there is thunder storm?

Politics / Re: Petrol: Lagos Fuel Stations Shut Down Over Speculation Of Pump Price Hike by Digitalwitch: 10:03pm On Aug 14, 2023
badoh:
These marketers are very wicked. Once there's speculation about price hike, the next thing they do is closing their filling stations and then creating artificial scarcity. Their plan is to sell their old stock at the new price thus making excess profit on the old stock. People will just be exploiting and making life inconvenient for their fellow citizens and they are the same set that will be blaming people at the top for corruption.

sad Even though I'm a born again Christian, I hope ECOWAS and the coupists can resolve this without bloodshed. Peace is all we Nigerian Christians pray for, we don't want war. Those animals in human skin called Obidients are a bunch of unpatriotic charlatans who would rather wish Nigeria burn because Peter Obi lost woefully at the polls. The Nigeria they loved so much few months ago and campaigned vigorously for was just to achieve an Igbo president. Majority of them are behind the Niger Coupist and even wish such can be replicated in Nigeria just because Peter Obi did not win. I hope sane Nigerians can see through the charade and let's keep rotating power between the status quo sad

Is not that they lowered their standard. The standard is more or less the same. Check past exam questions, roughly the same. The key difference is exam malpractice. Brother, E CHOKE. Private schools killed wassce exam. It is now effectively a foregone conclusion that a student, whether they have read or not, will pass because of exam malpractice. Before the commencement of the examination, the students already have the questions and the answers in their phones. Phones they will enter the exam hall with. Brother, e choke. This is the primary reason why they pass. Exam malpractice.

The only serious exam in Nigeria is Jamb. Jamb has its problems (especially with technical glitches) but it is much better than the others. Even though they have reduced the number of questions they ask, and have improved their grading/scoring system with the CBT format, their question standard is roughly the same and the level of malpractice is reduced to the minimum. May God help us.
Can you explain?

There was business because people have to exchange something for what they need. It was called trade by barter.

If everyone should sew agbada, it means the price of sewing agbada will fall drastically, also the money made from sewing agbada will be used to buy foods from the retailer, the retailer from the wholesalers and the manufacturer, that means money will circulate freely.

Btw it is impossible for everyone to sew agbada.
What if it was possible?

Why do one choose to go to the university? To gain knowledge? and not its application? Not to think out of the box.
Why spend millions to see one graduate and come out scallywaging on the street? Selling kerosine, becoming okada , keke rider?and tomatoes? Such graduates should now down their heads in full shame. Many says, what matters is the certificate. Now let the certificate put food on the table for you.
Any university graduate who came out looking for job should visit the nearest psychiatrist.
Then there is no need for university education since school is scam

LMAO, and u think it's easy to build a successful business in this country. Where's the enabling environment for your business to thrive?

Build one first and see how it goes oga

Pastor Tunde should know that if government can't provide job for all, it is the government responsibility to provide favourable environment that will encourage private businesses, It is commonsensical.

While we have useless Government here, it is a pity that people like this are supporting them. What a shame!!!

Besides some people are more academic, while some are vocational and some are gifted in managing and growing business to the fullest. Nature gives different talents. It is better to understand this.
