the students read to stupor... I was in the faculty of social science... had my 2.1 above 4 points without blocking any lecturer.....even when I gift my project supervisor a wine he refused it...I got sharp A on my project....he was so impressed with my work.

ecostat is one department in uniben I know if you're good you're good....

you can easily get a first class in that department without stress....

all my courses...I always know my score prior the results is released

We are talking about the flaws in your school you talking about how students read book who doesn't read or study.if you don't read you will fail but if you pass it means you read. I'm currently in Uniben Production Engineering 500 level and I can confidently say that our lecturers are mostly the Deeper life and Redeem church going types. My 100 level course adviser is a pastor that has his own church for that matter and never allowed me to carry beards or even grow hair(old school). Like 3 more of them are pastors in their churches. In fact, Production Engineering lecturers do not protest results given to them from other engineering departments no matter the rate of failure, unlike their counterparts. So I know for sure that you don't know what you're saying. When it comes to Physical science, Mathematics is the most corrupt and they sort aimlessly. My friend there is continuously harrased for sex in by their randy lecturers. The only strict department that rarely sort in physical science is Chemistry. You are so naive not to see the hand writing on the wall. A lecturer who doesn't take bribe is easy to detect. They don't form strictness at all. They will teach and impact knowledge on students. Secondly, how do you think a school like UNIBEN with thousands of students will be able to conduct CBT for all courses in 100L, taking into consideration how 'well' funded how educational sector is? Maybe you think Uniben is a state school...lol. If you don't know, the total population of AAU is not even up to the number of students in faculty of Education in UNIBEN.

Yes Nigeria schools dey cast but make we non carry school name for head. That is the problem with many persons in this forum. Most of these premiere universities have lost their taste. They are living on pass glory. They lack basic infrastructures. Most of the lecturers that made uniben great have retired. The ones coming up are too dirty ( although not all).

Guy, your argument now bores me. If you don't know that Edo Indegenes are also given priority in admission as done by all universities in Nigeria then it's your problem, not mine.

I had a girl from Delta state who applied for Agric, scored 48, and her name came out on merit list. You know why? Lack of competition in the department while you can't be in my Department with an aggregate of 50% 'cause it's one of the most competitive. If they don't give you admission, just know you performed poorly going by general performance.

I would advise anyone I see with a brain who wants to prove himself intelligent to try UNIBEN.

Anyone with brain should try somewhere else not uniben. University of Ibadan is even better than you so called uniben. Uniben derive joy in seeing their students fail,they don't care. Their hostels except for keystone is dirty. Hall 4 and 5 looks like where pigs live. Imagine chocking 8 students in a room meant for 4 persons. Once you enter hall 4, what welcomes you is beans and poo. Is their auditorium that can't even accommodate a faculty. A good student should seek somewhere not uniben.

In My 100l in 2014/2015 Seesion, I took 18 courses, just 3 courses were Multiple choices because they were general courses, the others were purely German mixed with conc Theory questions, mind you the multiple choice era in AAU right now is meant for the 100 and 200l classes only and this is due to The newly introduced Computer Based Examination (CBE) and they get their score and result immediately they click the submit button.....can Uniben beat this? Argue with your VC who happens to Be My Parishioner. I think He is even in a Church right now, oh He is seated over there������

Uniben are still using paper pencil format to write exams whereas their utme is CBT, isn't ironic?

See...my formal roomate wrote jamb, applied for Accounting and got marketing. Guess what? Her dad is a lecturer in Engineering who could've ordinarily put her in Accounting department with his influence but he refused 'cause he doesn't do such. That should tell you something. I know uniben more than you. I have seen students that sort from 100 level to final year in engineering especially production engineering. Ask anyone in production engineering if they don't sort there. Go to Eco stat and ask if they don't sort there too or is accounting that they don't. Don't let you friend deceive you. She was too dull to see the hand writing on the wall. Her father doesn't want to join the sorting team because he may soil his name. One of the few department that don't sort is Mathematics.

See...on UNIBEN merit list, first list. No matter where you're from; once you scored an aggregate that'll place you on that list, UNIBEN won't play with you. I'm from Rivers State, I got my admission on merit and didn't know any lecturer or person to run anything for me and my name came out on merit list.

On second list, being supplementary list. Senior lecturers are given one slot each to place a candidate that mustn't score below average, that's 50, and these students are more often than not given other courses 'cause people on merit already filled the spaces for major courses they don't play with. Now, these lecturers can collect money to fill students in those their slots while some don't. I just told you of a case my roomate's dad refused to fill her for his slot 'cause he doesn't use his own. He wants you to come on merit. UNIBEN has a standard.

Is not uniben that I know that even a market woman is given admission even if she score below average. Do you know many that got admitted below 50 in that school? They are numerous to mention. Uniben was good when admission list was once not batches

The school now has series of batches for admission compare to before when admission is once. Faculty of engineering, social and management sciences and pharmacy breed corrupt lecturers and students. After going through the write up. I can totally see the sense in the message. I agree that Nigerians watch more social content this is simply as a result of poor quality educatiional tv programs.
