Day 1 - Yay!!! �������� it’s our first prayer session of the year ��� and I’m soooooo excited.
Today we pray for vision. We pray that God will open our eyes and align our vision with his for 2020. So that we will see the way He sees. We pray for clarity and 2020 vision in Jesus name.

Remember we are fasting and the earliest we break is after prayer at 3pm. It’s just 30 minutes praying together but I encourage you to pray as often and as long as you’d like through out the day. Find time to study the word and write down whatever God shows you.

DAY 2
Topic: LIGHT

Day 2 - Today we pray for light � ������������ Light Is so crucial for us this year. It’s one thing to have vision but if you don’t have light, darkness will swallow up your vision.

1.Jesus is the only way to God, John 14:6
This invariably means those who don't believe in Jesus have no business in heaven.
Christians worldwide have an estimated population of 2.4billion people
Islam records an estimate of 1.9 billion adherents, Hindu has an estimated 1.1bn adherents. The remaining world's population have their own beliefs which includes atheism.
If Jesus is the only way to God, what happens to those who don't believe in him? Hell? Well, the Bible suggests so.

2. There are a lot of complications and contradictory remarks in the Bible- a verse says don't drink, another says "Drink for your stomach sake", or "Do not drink wherein excess."
Malachi 3:10 a famous Bible verse on tithing speaks about bringing your tithe to the storehouse (church, maybe)
Deuteronomy 14:22-26 says otherwise, it says "you should drink and be merry with your tithe". I'm seriously beginning to doubt the credibility of the Bible. Maybe the translators' fault or God told writers different stories on the same issue. Read Matthew, Mark, Luke and John's account of Jesus and see real contradictions.

3. Does God answer prayers? Well, I'm not really sure about that. Someone might be suffering from malaria, the person takes drugs and still prays, the drugs work, but the person thanks God. Or a successful surgical operation, instead of thanking the doctor, they thank God. Some illnesses that would have been treated led to deaths because a certain congregation who were supposed to take the ill persons to the hospital, circled around praying. Faith without work isn't it still dead?
I remember when I had stomach ulcer, it was really terrible, I prayed and made several promises to God that if He took away the ulcer, I'd drink no more alcohol and will be more devout in worshipping Him. That didn't solve anything though, I stopped drinking and took to taking my drugs more seriously. Weeks later, I was well. I returned to drinking and after a few months, the ulcer resurfaced. That was when I realized I really needed to quit drinking. Prayers wouldn't have solved that issue.
I spent 80% of 2019 at home because of my misgivings about God's existence.
I really wish I could be convinced about God's existence because I'm not even happy to be away from Church because of the views of friends and family.

4. Children of God, or so called children of God tend to suffer more tribulations, hard times and desperate moments, a lot of them scream "Vanity upon Vanity" when secular people live in luxury or spend extravagantly. God tends to turn his back on those who worship Him especially when they need Him most.
The 1933 Holocaust and mass murder of Jews to the tone of 6m was a clear indication that God turns His eyes against His people

Glad you asked these questions. It shows you are getting closer to know God more. The truth is anyone questioning there is no God has not EXPERIENCED HIS POWER IN THEIR LIFE. Unfortunately they follow people, church and societies to really understand who God is. God can be understood only through His word which is the bible. You also need the HOLY SPIRIT to interpret the bible for you.

I have seen God work in my life and that is why several religions like Erkanka, Yeshua, Etc have come to convince me but I stayed strong because everything God has done for me has been miraculous.

3. My canceled visa was approved 3 days after
4. I have lived without money and all my bills were sorted

It's not contradictory. I was arguing before that one is allowed to drink and not get drunk like stated in the bible until God opened my eyes to the life of John the baptist. Luke 1:15:- for he will be great in the eyes of the Lord. He must never touch wine or other alcoholic drinks. He will be filled with the Holy Spirit, even before his birth.

If you read closely you will see only one spirit is allowed to stay in your body. Alcoholic drink has a spirit. Paul drank alcohol to relieve the pain in his stomach. HE DIDN'T DRINK TO STUPOR. Ephesians 5:18 says Don’t be drunk with wine, because that will ruin your life. Instead, be filled with the Holy Spirit.

3. For Matthew, Mark, Luke and John's account of Jesus it's simple. I took saw different accounts but these guys were different people giving their own account in their own perspective of who Jesus was to each of them individually. They saw it in their own light.

4. For the tithe, there are different types of tithe. The one in Deuteronomy is the one given to the levite. I too questioned tithe. Plugged my ears from all teaches and did a research. I decided to settle with what Jesus said about tithe in Luke 11:42. He says “What sorrow awaits you Pharisees! For you are careful to TITHE even the tiniest income from your herb gardens, but you ignore justice and the love of God. You should TITHE, YES, but DO NOT NEGLECT the more important things.

5. Does God answer prayers? Oh yes He Does. Alot of people have died because they took drugs. So many people have died from surgery even from the best doctors with over 90% success rate. Do your research. That the drugs/surgery worked in your body is God that made it happen.

Ulcer is simply a lack of food. Eat well and without taking drugs you will be fine. Alcohol will quicken the acid to react with the ulcer that is why. Hope you know alot of people have died from ulcer even malaria. What makes you different? God is the difference.

6. Children of God suffer for lack of the word of God. The bible said my people perish for lack of knowledge. Sin and Knowledge will kill you. Sin is also a lack of knowledge.

The secular people make money because they applied some principles. Bill gates is rich cos he applied financial principles. Produce a product that solves problems and sell it to millions. Money answers to value given. simple!

Christians are lazy and broke because they don't apply the knowledge they know. They pray and expect God to come down and do the part they are supposed to do.

A randomized trial comparing ceftriaxone (3 g given parenterally per day for 7 days) to ciprofloxacin (500 mg given orally twice a day for 7 days) in the treatment of blood culture positive typhoid fever was conducted.

Twenty patients were openly randomized to receive ciprofloxacin and 22 to receive ceftriaxone.

The outcome was classified as clinical failure in 6 patients (27%) in the ceftriaxone group, but in none in the ciprofloxacin group (p = 0.01). The mean duration of fever was four days in the ciprofloxacin group and about five days in the ceftriaxone group (p = 0.04).

In the six patients in the ceftriaxone group who experienced failure, therapy was switched to ciprofloxacin and the patients became afebrile and asymptomatic within 48 hours. Patients with resistant strains of Salmonella typhi and patients with sensitive strains responded equally well to ciprofloxacin therapy. Analysis of a subset of 12 of the multiresistant strains revealed that resistance was encoded for by a transferable 180 kilobase plasmid. Ciprofloxacin represents a useful treatment option in areas where multiresistant strains are likely to be encountered.

Facebook is set to trial hiding likes from posts, the company has said, following on from tests conducted by subsidiary Instagram earlier this year.

The trial will be conducted in Australia initially and is based on positive feedback from mental health professionals around boosting users’ wellbeing. Users will still be able to see how many likes a post garnered if so desired.

“It really is just taking that number out of the equation, so that people can focus on the quality of their interactions and the quality of the content rather than on the number of likes or reactions,” Mia Garlick, Facebook Australia’s director of policy, told The Guardian.

There is no indication that the test will reach beyond Australia for now; as reported by the New York Times, the company will ‘gather feedback to understand whether this change will improve people’s experiences.’ Business users will still receive the same metrics as previously, the company added.

Instagram’s trial for hiding likes began in May in Canada with further tests pencilled in for Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, Italy, Japan and Brazil in July. While little has been said publicly regarding the results of those tests thus far, the theory around preserving user mental health was similar. A statement to Australia-based SmartCompany explained: “While this has been testing on Instagram, Facebook and IG are different surfaces and we will likely see different data come from this test.”

The concept of testing likes has by no means been restricted to the vendor side. Around the same time of the Instagram test, liqueur brand Kahlua put together a campaign which culminated in a New York exhibition whereby Instagram photos without a single ‘like’ between them were showcased.

The theory behind it was focused more around living life to the full and not committing every act to social media posterity. “We’re trying to go after a way to connect with our consumers and give them an opportunity to cherish life in the moment, versus spending all this time on social media focused on making things picture perfect,” Troy Gorczyca, Kahlua brand director at Pernod Ricard USA told MarketingTech at the time.

Kahlua’s campaign came with a survey which was more eyebrow-raising. Three in five millennials polled said getting a requisite number of likes was important for the photos they uploaded to social media, with more than a third (34%) checking within a minute of posting.

This potentially unhealthy pursuit of likes is something which Sean Herman, founder of family-friendly social hub Kinzoo, highlighted in April. “Platforms that allow children under age 13 to have accounts should not feature social validation metrics or make use of bots that automatically follow new users, like their posts, and leave comments,” Herman wrote. “To put it simply, these are manipulative features that give children a false sense of belonging, and children should not be exposed to them.”

Facebook has been focused on lifting the veil and opening up its platform. In August, the social giant launched Off-Facebook Activity, which aims to give users greater transparency on the data it holds with other websites, and disconnect it from their account in the future.

One initiative has recently hit a snag, however. According to the Financial Times, a project whereby Facebook would hand over a petabyte of data to an independent research group to assess political links is close to being abandoned after the latter expressed frustration that Facebook had been ‘unable to deliver’ all of the data promised.

A report from the NYU Stern Center for Business and Human Rights published last month outlined various potential methods of disinformation which could infiltrate the 2020 US elections. One prediction was that Instagram, rather than Facebook, would become the vehicle of choice for those who wished to spread meme-based disinformation

Let's start with these stats. There are 277 million users on LinkedIn and Twitter, 1.2 billion on Facebook and 540 million people on Google+ (mostly people who haven’t yet figured out how to delete their profiles while keeping their Gmail accounts intact). Instagram the new wave has over 1 billion+.

Now understand this, the product they use in making money from is YOU the user. They sell your attention to ADVERTISERS and get paid for that exchange. That is why they make sure YOU stay active. They create alot of features to keep you glued.

The funny thing is that they don't have CONTENT, you the user have been creating content for them for free.

Using an advertiser-supported model, rather than charging each user individually, is unquestionably the easiest way for Facebook to garner as many users as possible. The more users on the site, the greater the number of advertisers willing to engage them, and the more those advertisers are willing to spend. Making for the most virtuous of circles for Facebook’s management and shareholders.

As a business, you shoot yourself in the foot when you don't run online advert. Why? Because all the tools necessary for you to reach your exact target has been provided by these facebook, twitter, linkedin giants. Also, almost everybody you see has a smartphone.

Another way they make money is from SUBSCRIPTIONS. Only Linkedin has been successful with this because they target PROFESSIONALS and these set of people in their platform have the money to pay.
