30 checkpoints in less than 5 hours... You people will just pick up ur phone and type unsubstantiated lies about the Nigeria Police then dump here and cc. Lalasticlala and the next thing its on front page. It is a disgrace to this forum and I am personally disappointed at lalasticlala. You dont seem to understand the power of information because if you do you wouldn't allow unconfirmed reporting or write ups from unknown individuals or unknown media platform head straight to front page. Is nairaland a dump? This has to stop.

You can ban for the next 10years that's ur problem.

Crime / Police Checkpoint Or Police Fraudpoint? by Diiverexii(f): 6:49am On Jan 19, 2017
My fellow nairalanders, I was baffled yesterday on my way coming from Lagos state to Ekiti state, starting from osun, I encountered close to 30 checkpoint till will get to iyin Ekiti precisely, and all of this checkpoint ensure they collected cashes ranging from 50 naira to 200 naira.

It got to a particular point, we met some soldiers in one of the checkpoint, there was a fire burning at the other end of the road almost getting to the main road were we and other cars queued as ordered by the soldiers, and lo and behold, we passengers started screaming, let us get out from this fire area, the next thing their superior will say is , "WHO SCREAMED? EVERYBODY OYA COME DOWN" I was shocked, all because of 50 naira

Another checkpoint we got to , a particular policeman was even telling the driver when he said he has no 50 naira "I CAN SEE THE 100 NAIRA IN YOUR POCKET, I WILL GIVE YOU 50 NAIRA CHANGE". I opened my mouth for five minutes and couldn't close it. I was forced to read the name on his tag , he goes by the name "OGUNSEMOYIN" couldn't decipher the other name on the tag.

My question is, when will T. Fare not Increase because of this theives in uniform?

you cant say you want to come downtown and go back to Lagos the same day, it is not possible, because thus riff Raff's succeeded in wasting 2 hours of my time on the road, a journey of 5 hours eventually took 7 hours due to incessant stopping on the road

and my conclusion is should we blame iron buhari regime or selfish nature of this humans?

You are a 'wifey' in the making!

And I find this your advice below sublime:

Save 20k out of that 40k every month, I know its hard but just try. Pay your tithe, then out of the remainder, use halve for transport and the other halve for feeding, manage very well and you will enjoy your 40k kiss

Gflat:
Giving yourself hope wouldn't revive the ponzi scheme you indulged in with a 100% accuracy. You were gullible once don't be myopic now.

IMAGINE: MMM is back but we want to pay the poor ones first (those with 50k and below) grin

Nigerians are the most irrational set of lazy heads who depends on free cash for survival.

Try to make them see the fact about MMM being a ponzi (scam) scheme then they come at you with their myopic and wretched people mentality like:

"is it your money?"

" Why do people get angry while others are making it?"

Mr, you are not making it, in fact you are dumber than you were because before you indulged into MMM your brain was working around the clock trying to figure out means to an end but now you are relaxed with the hope that "I will get Gh/Ph (I don't even care what it is called) by the end of the month.

Is that not the stupidest thing ever? shocked

Please show me without making references to your uncle who we know doesn't have a reputation or your ghost friend who we don't give a Bleep about.

Can you Show me One person who got wealthy through ponzi schemes.

Please don't make references to that bald headed guilder of whatever you guys call it and I hope your brain is working well enough for you to know the difference between riches and wealth.

After waiting carefully for 1hour nobody could answer that question they were only abusing grin

MMM participants are even dumber than I thought. I mean you can't even mention just one person? I Mean just one

Funny thing is pastors even encourage their church while imam are encouraging their members to indulge in this! Talk about reaping where you didn't sow shocked

See that first guy to quoted my comment, his likes are much more than mine because he is the MMM warrior and people supported his myopic comment even though it seemed like a kindergarten kid typing. He obviously wasn't thinking before he typed that because his brain has been flushed down the toilet along with his sense of money grin

Jesus fücking Christ! grin

nd d moment u said fucking with Christ, I lost hope in ur sanity

Investment / Mmm, The Real Deal??? by Diiverexii(f): 11:59am On Jan 13, 2017
We are now open!!! :-))

Dear members,

The holidays are over, and we''re now open. Just as promised. (You might have already noticed that we always stick to our promises. :-)) Actually, we promised to be open on January 14, but we''re open now, January 13, as you can see, which is a day earlier. (Well, I hope, the members of the System will forgive us for that. :-))

It''s related to the hysteria raised by the authorities and the mass media around MMM. By joining forces, they''ve managed to nearly give the members of the System a heart attack and have frightened them out of their wits. Poor souls don''t know what to expect. Will we open again or not? :-))

This is why we''ve decided, considering the situation, to reach out to the members, reassure and cheer them up by opening a little earlier. After all, Together We Can Change The World! :-))

Here we go.

1. As of this notice, MMM resumes its usual operation. You can now create your GH-requests.

2. However, it''s obvious that panic will reign in the first few days after the re-opening of the System. We’re likely to be deluged by GH-requests. Therefore, we''re going to make gradual paybacks by setting internal output limits. In other words, we will only pay a certain amount per day. Please, be prepared to wait for a couple of days. We are certain things will then calm down, and the System operation will return to normal.

We''re the ones setting the limits, so it''s completely under our control, and we are not expecting any emergencies in principle. Have no fear and go on about your business as usual. :-))

As the System is socially oriented, we will make paybacks to the poor and the economically disadvantaged in the first place: it means to the members with small PH amounts. The richer can wait. Moreover, we''ve warned you repeatedly to only provide help with amounts that are not critical for you. Therefore, if these large amounts are not critical for them (the richer), they can wait a few days. No need to be tragic about it. :-))

This is the way it''s going to be.

Hoping for your kind understanding, Sergey Mavrodi. We Change The World!

P. S. I''d like again to call on the authorities and the mass media: Please, leave us alone! Have mercy on people.
