Mine is just like you described, and its definitely authentic, confirmed by the Nigerian high commission in London, also used for my husbands UK spouse visa which was successful and also the change of all my particulars into my married name smiley

Great stuff thanks for coming back to me.

I have read through your journey..well done and wishing you and hubby a blessed and happy home.
Cheers

Ours is just like the UK marriage certificate no colours at all apart from the ball point pen we used to fill it out

I have no idea if the certificates have changed over time im sure other Nigerian's here in the group can clarify if their certificates are the same like mine or if they were once like yours, I honestly have never seen it like this even my husbands uncle said to me this is fake.

Hi there, I noticed you posted your copy of your Nigerian marriage cerificate. I can confirm Mine is exactly like yours, on a plain white piece of paper, (not a parchment paper typically used for certificates) just your normal standard paper, no colours whatsoever. Even the coat of arms is in black and white. The only colour as you pointed out is the ball point pen.

I was a bit worried about mine, because i would have expected as an important certificate to be on a parchment paper
(So it lasts) or at least the header should be in colour or something. I thought the UK one has a colour but obviously completed by hand by the relevant parties. See attached sample found through Google search.

For clarification, please kindly let me know if my description of my certificate is same as yours?

Investment / Buying Shares in Nigeria: Companies, Stock Market Trends, & Opportunities by dimples81: 11:49am On Nov 18, 2005
What are shares all About?

I am interested in buying shares especially in Nigeria as i have heard it's quite lucrative (I am always open to any investment opportunity). I know it is probably a wide topic, however, few pointers as to target companies, trends of the stock market & opportunities would definitely be a start for me (if you don't mind sharing).

I see on few postings peeps have mentioned IBTC of which i am quite aware of and i must say quite impressed with information provided on their website. What is your view on the Fund option offered by IBTC and is this the best option especially for someone that does not reside in Nigeria.

I await eagerly for any response(s). Thanks in advance!
