Hello VO, I just stumbled on this thread. Didn't know it exists and may I thank you profusely for your time in answering the questions in this forum. Me, my wife, my mum and my two children applied for B1/B2 to visit my elder sister whom we havent seen for three years now since she moved to the US (special thanks to the DV programme). We were granted visas 02 Mar 2016. However, we were unable to make the trip for June due to my leave that was shifted at work. Also my wife became pregnant. We plan travelling to the US this Oct or early Nov to visit my sister and would also want to use the opportunity to have have our baby there in December (even though this was not in our plans when we were applying). I read that if no mention was made of plans to have the baby there during the interview that there could be consequences and that I may have to write to the US consular about the change in my intentions. How do I go about this? At the least, I cannot stand me my family denied entry at the POE and may just have to cancel the trip altogether and travel after she puts to bed. Please your urgent response will be most appreciated. |
