LandMann: And you think he wouldn't have told the DSS who it is? He most definitely has. It is the DSS's duty to intelligently investigate the activities of the said governor and provide evidence to nail him. Mailafiya can not have evidence because his source of info is a high ranking BH commander who only passed the info verbally. |

Kekereekun123: Kekere Ekun, how do you expect him to name the person? It is not every truth that can be backed up by evidence but its truth all the same. If he names the person to the public, will you help him pay when he is fined by a court for defamation? I'm sure he has told the dss who it is (that's if they ever asked him). Its should be up to them to investigate and provide evidence to nail the person. But they are not interested in doing that. That's why they are harassing the man up and down the whole place. 2 Likes |
Politics / Re: Watch Video Of Gana Exposing Fulani Herdsmen And Nigerian Army by dokie: 9:03am On Sep 11, 2020 |
Arrewa: As he was working hand in hand with the killer herdsmen, why wasn't he arrested by the army so that they could get sensitive info from him to enable them round up the leadership of the militant herdsmen? Let me educate you a bit. Gana was killed by the army because he had so much info with him that was likely to implicate certain people in power if the amnesty deal he was going to accept scaled through. They were not going to allow that happen. He who lives by by the gun dies by the gun. So I have no pity for the man, other than the pity of probably losing his soul because he lived a callous life against the Lord's will. But don't be under any confusion that those who killed him did that because they wanted to better secure the people. They were only trying to cover their misdeeds. You can be sure that another gana is already in the field, working with the murderous herdsmen and their benefactors in the corridors of power. Shalom. |

That is a whooping us$81b at an exchange rate of N380. We are gradually getting there. The moment our income can no longer service our debts, the foreclosure starts and the country eventually winds up, just like a typical business. When the country is fully grounded, we will now forcefully discuss our structural problem. Only then will we have a new emergence. Quite unfortunately, many will not make it through. But those who eventually do will build the new nations that will emerge from Nigeria. jansonn: Very simply: The money we generate as a nation can no longer meet our needs, so we have to borrow. azmanaty02: Nobody borrows money for the fun of it. Money no dey again. Our cash cow (oil) can no longer generate enough money to meet our genuine needs and our corruption. And the corruption is only going to get worse. When plenty people dey chop from one plate, na when food wan finish na im dem dey rush am pass. Nigeria is about to be shreded to pieces by those in the corridors of power. Save your curses bro. So far Nigerians are the ones dying, while Buhari and his family members are busy having a ball. 36 Likes |

God has been enormously kind to us because going by scientific permutations, Africa should have been the worst hit. It cannot be attributed to anything other than an act of the almighty to save us from a harvest of deaths. That is why some of us have maintained that no matter how unholy we may be, it is still a plus to our continent that we are very religious. 1 Like |

Etfash: My Brother, you see the passages you quoted are all under the old covenant, but we are now in the new covenant. Let me remind you how the new covenant came to be " Christ became a curse in our place to redeem us from the curse e of the law". Gal 3: 13. The man who became a curse for all men will curse no one anymore. A man who rejects Christ is under a curse by his own making, he needs not to be cursed anymore. So his insulting a man of God cannot attract a greater curse than that which his rejection of Christ has brought upon him already. And he who is in Christ can not be cursed by anyone not to talk of Christ himself cursing his own disciple because he falters (in this case, insults a man of God). That is not to say that people should go about insulting Christian leaders, but anyone saying that insulting a christian leader would bring down the curse of God is not properly rooted in New Testament Theology. Read Matthew 10:25, and tell me what you deduce from it. Being insulted or criticized should be the least problem of a Christian. And it doesnt bother the Lord that He or His disciples are insulted. Consequently, he is not going to curse the "insulter". Christ himself was insulted from the beginning of his ministry until his death; He has been insulted by all generations since his death till this day, and will be insulted till the end of time, when he shall come in glory. What has been his response " Forgive them for they know not what they do". This is differential between Christianity and every other religion on earth. It is a lack of understanding in certain aspects of the New Testament theology that will make Pastor Ibieyome speak the way he did especially when he said "I curse the day he was born". Do you know the implication of that statement? It is outrightly condemning the man to eternal damnation. That is not Christian. The Christian is called to save souls and not to condemn. Let us rest this matter. |

Righteousness89: Your advice is inappropriate. Make your points encouraging people not to insult others because its sinful. But don't threaten people with Gods curse. I don't think I should be reminding you that Jesus came to save and not to curse. How many people did Jesus curse for insulting him? 32 Likes 5 Shares |

Righteousness89: I don't agree with, you. At a time when the fakes and those who have called themselves to ministry are more than those under anointing for ministry, I doubt if Christ would visit anyone with a curse for insulting a supposed man of God who crosses boundaries. How do we ascertain that Ibiyome is under the call of God? Because he has a large congregation? The Bible tells us that by their fruits you shall know them. What that man did on his pulpit was satanic. You can't blame anyone for insulting him, and God won't. At most, the man who insults would bear the consequence for insulting people and not a special reprimand for insulting a supposed Man of God. 14 Likes 2 Shares |

Mobi47: Islam and Christianity is not the same thing. Criticism is a necessary tool to live a Christ-like life because it humbles the christian. Humility is critical characteristic of the christian. Let the Pastors, Priests, Bishops and Pope be criticized or insulted. It only makes them better Christians if they accept it in good faith and suffer silently. |

I moved from N21 to N52. In my entire life, i have never seen such instant increment in the price of any product or service. The fuel price increase is child's play compared to the power issue. If there should be a lockdown, it should be based on this power tariff increment. The most ridiculous thing about the whole issue is the bullshit they keep saying that areas that experience few hours of power will not have their tariffs altered. It is a lie, and it is a ridiculous statement. Even if that is what is on paper, it will never be implemented in reality and the government knows that. 1 Like |

Under Jonathan, minimum wage was 18,500 while a bag of rice was 7k which was 38% of the minimum wage. So the lowest earner could buy a bag of rice and still have some money for some other things. Now, minimum wage is 30k ( no be everybody dey pay am sef) and rice is 32k which is over 100% of the minimum wage, and some people are still able to support buhari? 17 Likes 4 Shares |

SmartPolician: I dont agree that Buhari did better than Jonathan on the Boko Haram thing. You need to remember that Nigeria had never experienced terrorist attacks and there was no indication that any of such was breeding. Infact hearing of suicide bombing in Nigeria was unbelievable at the first instance until it became rampant. So the Jonathan Govt was taken by surprise. As great as America is, it took them a while to get a grip on the terrorist attacks launched against them by al quaeda. Everything Novel (just like the novel covid 19) take people by surprise and it takes while to understand the situation in order to attack it appropriately. Don't forget that the North also saw it as a tool to take power back thereby further frustrating the administration's efforts to deal with it. If you can remember, when Jonathan's govt eventually engaged the Mercenaries, they started recording great success in their campaign against the terrorists until Buhari came in and disengaged them. I dare to say that if Jonathan was still president, the situation wouldn't be as bad as it is today because those mercenaries would have practically cleaned out the terrorists. With that said, Jonathan was still not a good enough president. 6 Likes 1 Share |
