Religion / Artificial Intelligence(ai); A Personal Opinion. by DollarBag: 4:39pm On Jul 09, 2023 |
Pls this piece(my personal opinion and message about AI) is specifically meant for Christians(Believers) on this forum. Apologies please to non-Christians(Believers). A video of how a church service was conducted by AI in Germany recently surfaced online. This no doubt has attracted a variety of divergent opinions as to its justifiability. However, as we admire, embrace and promote the scientific and technological advancements in the world today(esp. AI), let us try to see through the the motives and agenda. As Christians(especially Believers/Born Again), we shouldn’t be oblivious of the fact that the Bible’s prophesies about the end time and its signs are already 99% fulfilled. The AI might be the last strike. I’m not entirely pessimistic about the advancement and evolvement of the world through science and technology. No doubt, it has impacted the world greatly and positively overtime. However, its negative impacts on the world needs not be overemphasized as well. What we need especially in time like this, is to tread with caution as we embrace and promote them. We need to be conscious of the fact that these advancement/evolvement per se are ruled if not owned by the devil and are therefore tools for the advancement of his kingdom. The unfortunate thing is that these advancement such as AI is gradually taking the place of God and His work today. How would one justify the use of AI(a robot)–a soulless entity without the Holy Spirit, to conduct church service(both Worship, Sermon, prayer, etc) as scientific and technological advancement? I mean robot preaching and praying for humans with souls and spirits, teaching and telling how to serve, worship and pray to God? Haba!!! It’s unjustifiable in any way and by any means. Is it that the ministers of God(Pastors and workers in the church)are tired and need the help of this AI? And one thing about the West is that anything in vogue that has proven to be “successful”, they can overuse and run their lives around it. So expect majority of churches in Europe and America in the coming days and years to embrace in full, the use of AI(robots) for their services. Hence, the question is; what does that portend for the church? Apart from the spiritual aspect of it, think of how this AI will encourage complacency and reduction in human intellectual as well as practical capabilities which will further threaten jobs(job security) worldwide in the coming years. Then, have you also tried to think beyond the immediate main aim(s) of this AI? Brethren, take it or leave it, there’s absolutely a sinister motive behind AI. You can argue about it but will never rule it out or convince me. It might interest you to know that most of these leading scientists and technologists are not Christians. They are mostly atheists and are used greatly by the devil with some definite agenda which in most cases, they themselves are not even aware of. To them, it’s for pleasure/fun or their contribution for the development and advancement of the world. Just be wise Happy Sunday 1 Like |

TheZooHasFalln: My brother, your questions portrays how half-wise you’re. Albeit, I don’t have the luxury of time to educate you on what I assume you should rather use your discretion as an adult to know and understand. But since you’ve exhibited some of denial in other to justify your wickedness against your own people in the East, here are some few comments(not detailed) to your pretentious and feigned questions. 1. Yes! FGN is responsible for MNK’s incarceration not Igbos/Easterners who you kill and impoverish. If you like, kill, impoverish, kidnap, imprison them till the next century, you won’t get the attention of the FG to release Him. 2. Yes! East is part of Nigeria but of no much priority to the table. Thanks to such phrases as “dot nation”, “five percenters”. I think those phrases should help explain your status in Nigeria virtually in all aspects of the economy such as, population, landmass, election, natural resources, etc. That goes further to explain to you why you’ve not gotten any attention from the FG unlike the Niger Delta Militants. 3. Yes the schools, institutions and teachers there belongs to FG. However, the students, teachers and personnel there are not Hausa, Yoruba, Southsouth. They are mainly Igbo. Don’t forget the primary function of Government is welfare of these people. Then a situation whereby you prevent government from seeing to their welfare, who lose(s)? At this juncture, let me assure you that if you like, you go ahead and destroy all the FG’s infrastructure and facilities in your area, kill all the security forces and agents, kidnap all the governors and government officials from your area, etc, that’ll will not affect the government and the economy in any way and by extension that will not also secure MNK’s release neither will it grant you Biafra. Instead your people/region will bear the whole brunt and be ultimately at the receiving end. In all, try and get some little sense as it’s obviously far from you. Find better areas and means to engage the government to yield to you demand not by pinching yourselves thinking you’re pinching the government. Remember it’s easier built than destroyed. |

Odibembem: Thank God for your reasoning sir. Very senseless kind of warfare. He who targets to spit on his enemies should not look up. If he looks up, he’ll end up spitting on himself. They should borrow a hint from Niger Delta Militants who engaged government directly and were able to get the government accede to their demands. |

pquaver: Honestly speaking, you’re 100% right. If you notice, I did not make any case for the set of people you mentioned like, politicians, elders, pastors and other leaders. My case is strictly for the uninformed poor widows/women, helpless children as well as poor families who do not know their left from their right. They should simply be spared, pitied and not suffocated. Asking them to stay home for one whole week without any form of provisions for them in post subsidy regime is the height of wickedness, inhumanity and deprivation to them. The consequences will be very severe and square both on them and the society. That’s my case. We should not throw away the baby with the bath water. |

The ones who have opportunities have all migrated to safer areas while the ones who don’t are stuck, and therefore have no other option than to learn to live with them. To them(I mean these vulnerable ones), if cheering and praising them is what it takes to live with them, so be it. Can you now see their fate? |

Please IPOB, UGM, ESN, BSS, BLA and whatever name unah dey hide under, please again, I take MNK’s and Simon Ekpa’s names(your gods) beg unah, make Unah allow the poor, women, widows, children and the vulnerable among you some breathes. Unah no dey fair to them at all. The way unah dey destroy their little source/means of livelihood dey commot tears for my eyes. Yes them dey disobey unah, that’s because them no get choice. Imagine a poor widow wey get children wey be say nah only vegetable e dey sell chop food with her children to stay one week for house. Wetin Unah want make them chop/do? How them wan take survive? On top of that, unah come dey heartless to dey destroy their goods(vegetables) even in front of their helpless crawling and crying kids(I mean toddlers). Shey unah dey fight them abi unah dey fight for them? Asin I no understand. Unah no even feel for the kids. The keke and okadaman wey unah dey burn their keke and bike, unah give them wetin them and their family go chop for the one week wey unah wan make them sitdown for house, wey go make unah burn their only source of livelihood? Unah don think about how these things wey unah dey do dey affect them now and how e go affect them them later? Please stop suffocating them.🙏 Make Unah understand say nah pressure to chop food for the day dey make them be like say them dey disobey unah. Unah no provide food for them and unah wan suffocate them. If Nigerian government dey suffocate them, unah dey suffocate them times 10. Unah dey kill them. In fact, e go better say unah shoot them with unah gun than this irredeemable situation wey unah dey put them so. However wether Obidients like am abi them no like am, I must mention say Mr. Peter Obi no dey try at all. E want tell me say e never see all these havoc and wreckage wey these Igbos them dey cause against his people especially the poorest of the poor? Now wey e suppose shed tears for them or show sympathy, e no go do am. Nah when e loose election e go dey shed crocodile tears. Suddenly, e don loose him voice. E no dey social media again. If nah Tinubu matter, APC matter, religious matter or say nah for Plateau or any other northern State e dey happen now, e go be first person to condemn. Now tell me how Peter Obi take dey different from Atiku, Buhari and other average Nigerian bigoted politicians? His silence especially for this one week sit-at-home and the attendant events by these hoodlums show say e dey support them. Him nah truly ethnic bigot. Nobody go fit tell me otherwise. How we want justify his silence apart from the facts say e dey protect him political future or e dey fear them? Nonsense and ingredients. God please 🙏 I dey beg you in the name of Jesus your Son, please rescue these poor women, widows and children and help those poor families whose only means/source of income and livelihood have been destroyed by the horrible and heartless criminals called IPOB and co. And above all, God please 🙏 eliminate them from our land at least for the sake of the poor. Amen. 4 Likes 1 Share |

You see! If Reno dies today(God forbid), I’m not sure the percentage of the Igbo that will mourn him will be up to 5. The rest of 95 will celebrate his death. It goes to show in general, how the Igbo are badly bigoted. But as for me despite being an Igbo, I’ll mourn him forever. I love the way he dishes out the truth. I’ve never found any of his tweets and comments against the Igbo offensive. Instead, they always offers us opportunities to embrace attitudinal change. Conscience they say is like an open wound, only truth can heal it. 11 Likes 1 Share |

Over 100generals? Forced to retire. Never knew Nigeria had or still has this number of Generals in the first place. This country self!! An army with this number of generals and yet struggles with the defense of the country which is its primary obligation can simply be described as lame, lazy and incompetent. It reeks of compromise and therefore should be reorganized, reengineered and re-cultured. Hence the sack or retirement of the generals is a step in the right direction—a welcome development. They should not just be forced to retire, they should be sacked without any form of benefits and pensions. They’re grossly inept, incompetent, unproductive, useless, corrupt and what have you. They feasted on, and wasted our taxes and oil for nothing. They sabotaged the country by aiding and sponsoring insurgency, banditry, kidnapping and all form of insecurity—the very essence they were employed to fight. 13 Likes 4 Shares |

Nonybb: The first and last sentences of your comment rubbished the fantastic point you tried to put up. Firstly, Nigeria against all odds is a nation that only needs to be governed aright. Then about nepotism, there’s no heterogeneous society, country, organization or government in the world that’s 100% free from nepotistic tendencies. And competence is relative in such society ie depending on what you mean and understand about it. Wether you make your appointments strictly based on merit and competence, there’s must however be some form of solidarity, discordance as well as nepotistic connotations to it by the people. So as far as there are regions, religions, parties and beliefs in a country, nepotism is always an invention or a tool. It’s then left for you to use your balanced discretion to make a sound judgement in any situation. |

teadrake: Absolutely needless. Forgetting he’s just starting. You don’t know the kinda politics he’ll play in the long run. The names he mentioned like Elruffai and Ganduje who lost their states to PDP and NNPP respectively during the elections. By then, there would be new alignments and realignments. Elrufai would most probably have issues with his successor which Tinubu I believe would try to harvest and bring him to his fold for support. Already Ganduje has obviously lost hold of Kano hence Tinubu’s effort to bring Kwankwaso to his table. Mark my words, Kwankwaso would feature prominently in Tinubu’s government and will end up defecting to APC and hijacking the party structure in the state |
