If the course reg page is accessible,you'd notice it's segmented. First,you have ur core courses which have been entered for you. Just click the box on ur right(not the delete tag. You click the delete tag when u want to delete a course.) When you click the box,the course appears as selected at the base of the form.
Secondly,you have the "Restricted courses." Select one or two. When you select it appears at the base of the form.
Then you have "Special Electives." Just click to select.
When you scroll down,you will see all the courses you have selected,and the total units. A submission will give you a summary to verify.

The process is easy. Just calm your nerves. Again,please DO NOT USE OPERA MINI to do ur reg,cos of errors.

Some courses like LIB 001 will be generated in summary.

Make sure the "Verification of Credentials" you are printing is signed. It has to be.

As regards printing out your bio-data form, chill guys. You might be asked to print it and submit to your Dept. And yes it is possible to print it out.

For printing out any doc,I'll advice you chill till you resume,it costs ridiculously less to print on Campus.

This is quite serious. I can tell that you are perplexed right now.
If you do not scale the present stage,there's nothing you can do on the portal further. What is perplexing me is that you even got to this stage without being blocked from the outset.
What can be done?
I would have suggested you go to Admissions or Computer Room( I think 315) on Campus. But, I guess they should be on leave.
If you are still being bounced, fish out the UTME brochure and check what other course requirements you likely fulfil. You may have to change your course and that will involve some processing and you going down to Ife.
Again,carefully check the requirements for Philosophy IN THE BROCHURE. I have a feeling that the "Commerce" which OAU does discriminate against is the problem.(A reliable source told me some time back that they have been asked to stop the discrimination,but who knows). Although someone mentioned Literature,it might be too.
Try this also: get in touch with @Fynestboi. He is in philosophy. Ask him what the O' level requirements are and tell him the problem.

Wow! This is totally wicked and unfair. Should the students have kept quiet and suffer in silence? 7.00p.m to 7.00a.m rationing of power supply,during exam period? Is the VC that "progressive" in his reasoning?

Do you really need to use the barcode? Why not go to "Payments" and check under "Payment Status" or something. This whole method Of "Remita" and "RRR" is new.

I am not currently being screened with you guys.

Sign on a plain white sheet,not too big. Go to a cafe and scan then upload it by locating where it is stored on the computer.

The barcode has been embedded with that confirmation. You probably will see a post up like the one you saw when you were checking your JAMB admission status.

You need a barcode scanner. Download one from Google Play. Launch the code reader and point your main camera at the barcode.

Hey guys,I know how you feel to finally be doing something,to finally be interacting with the famed eportal.
If you can just calm down a bit,you'd see that OAU does not need your receipts. Let's say you have a complaint,then the receipt can come in handy. And if you must print,why not chill; it costs 10 naira to print on campus at the Cafes and lesser elsewhere,also on Campus. Just provide a valid and working email so you could get th receipts into your inbox. Again,and a bit important cos of experience,AVOID USING OPERA MINI. Especially when it comes to course reg,DO NOT use it. Your phone browser is your best bet.

None of the fees u quoted is optional. The 43K+ and 18K equals 61K+. U must pay that, together.
What is optional is accommodation.

Queen Tee, I reckon you are in the Faculty of Arts. The 61700 is the total amount you will pay. Minus the Acceptance of 20K,and accommodation of 3090(optional)

61700+20000+3090(optional cos u might decide to get ur own accommodation)

Other fees to prepare for:
Association Due is #2000.
Hall Dues and stuffs, about #500.

Calm ur nerves people.
The sequence is quite easy. Eportal will put You through.
Last year,you pay your 20K Acceptance fee before you are able to access and do other things on your eportal page. And you can pay and clear from any listed bank branch on the portal.

By the way,printing is cheap on Campus. If you cannot acces the portal page,don't fret it,know that they are working on it. There are times when those outside of Campus cannot access but those on can. That's understandable cos we breathe the portal!
Just relax and carefully complete your reg.

bolaji73: they were about going on 1st semester vacation when the strike began.2nd semester should have been around august-december this year,but we all know those period were lose to strike.now that the strike has been called off,the semester(2nd) will just begin..hope this help?

Many persons felt they merited a mention on the list submitted by OAU to JAMB,still they couldn't find their names on the JAMB website. So yes the admission list is out on JAMB's website,but we are expecting a comprehensive one when the list surfaces on eportal. Mind you the supplementaries,VC,and probably the shortfall list are on the horizon.

Many mouths have said it,mny fingers have typed it too. Again though,to all those waiting for OAU to release their admission lists(Merit,Supplementary,VC's) you need to take a chill pill. OAU won't rush a thing. Usually by this period,the Merit list should have been out,but the strike hsnt helped matters in any way. It probably should work better for those yet to start processing their admission. Don't sit back waiting to be offered admission. Get down to Campus and find help!
