You should be able to use WES or any of the others BUT Optometry is seen by IRCC as a professional degree so search extensively on NL and see which ECA body people have used in the past and got professional degree evaluation. If it is brand new rn8 you want, I don't think you will get one. Maybe the 2020 version or whatever they call it. The rn8 first edition that I use is good unless you expect it to perform like rn11. I still get 5 hours SOT from it. A phone that will be 3yrs by 1st quarter of 2023. There has never been any reason to work on it. Maybe I am lucky...the phone is really good. It serves me all day...browsing and twitter mostly.

That phone is powered by unisoc T606. Go and check the performance of such processor on other devices if any. My redmi note 8 snapdragon 665, 4/64 on android 11 does not hang unless I play some online games.
Try to clear the cache of some apps and regularly switch off your phone an switch on.
