Don’t be surprise to know that no fans did this but the organizers. Though Nigerian youths are known for mediocrity, they are also know for being extremely stingy (most).

I am confident that this was done not by the youth but the organizers. Hunger is much on the town now and while youths may be mad, hunger is one of the best med that reset stupidity to productivity.

Health / Re: Effectively Defusing The Time Bomb: A Call For The Ban Of Codeine by Dongreat(m): 6:37am On Feb 11, 2018
Understand that banning codeine will not stop addiction but increase it along with triple both smuggling and crime rate. This is a powerful opioid (lower than morphine of course) that renders benefits to block pain but with its europhic effect you get half good and half bad.
You want to reduce the level of abuse, then try the next best thing; education/ awareness about the danger of the side effects. Use both animated ad plus local bill boards to spread the message. Also, it shouldn’t be OTC and distributing to only certified pharmacy in states with proper documentation so that any slip up to sell to unlicensed pharmacy will be easily detected.
The USA is having same problem with oxycodone and they just can’t ban it cos these drugs are the only powerful classes of painkillers we have for now.

Thank you sir more logically explained. Cus I dont c how strong a venom can be, to transfer the venom from a primary host to a secondary one even after heating for minutes.

Well I haven’t perform this in the lab but it can probably be possible after few minutes of injecting venom in a host and then performing a blood transfusion into another host; still doubt it will cause a problem (I may try it for fun/science).
Venom in meat, cooked and eaten will literally do nothing to you cause if the heat don’t destroy the venom then the HCL (PH=3) will destroy it. Moereover, soldiers, jungle dwellers eat poisoning snakes.

Don't mind them. a lady even quote me and said venom is a modified saliva. Chai!!! I tire Ooooo.

They didn’t fall ill from the venom, but a high chance of food poisoning caused by bacteria growth in the dead animal. Venom blocks the nicotinic receptor in skeletal muscle causing paralysis, and affect cardiac muscle to cause Cardiac depression, hence when struck by a snake you become paralyzed and died from a drop in heart rate.
The symptoms showed in the patients are classic example of symptoms you get when you feast on decayed meat, uncooked meat, and raw poultry.

Well this is quite trivial as my guess will not be on the venom from the snake but the bacteria in the carcass. Perhaps it’s decayed and hunger has no room for sanity. Moreover, not all bacteria found in decayed meat can be killed by heat or cold.
Snakes venom mostly works on muscles, skeletal muscle, to cause paralysis so my guess here will be food poisoning.

You all seems to come online to act strong while in your present age you could easily be manipulated to send nude photos. Lady don’t come online to shame your fellow gender for its quite easily to manipulate your gender into sending nudes, or making a sex tape.

Ps: those ladies were scared of not giving in due to the randy principal who has authority to cause harm to them. Perhaps you don’t know this but when we were teens we agree to so many sh*t cos we are either scared or don’t want to be disrespectful.

It depends on the way Africans reason it.
When you kill someone and get paid it is called blood money

When you rob a woman of her hard earned money and she eventually fell ill and died, the money is called lood money

When you kidnap a person and demand for ransome, now the ransome being paid and you still got the person killed, that money is a blood money.

Blood money is not only when you go to babalawo and offer person as a sacrifice. There are many form of blood money.

If that’s the definition of blood money then yes it’s plausi but not the hail Satan and money start to fall. You wonder if Satan has the money used to print money or there’s a CBN in Purgatory.

Great to see someone thinking critically for once in Nairaland. Was beginning to lose hope in the youths of the country as many truly believe that because elephant ears are large then they can fly.

There’s nothing like blood money. Only in Africa where all natural resources is will you see over superstitious, poverty ridden minded individuals. Hasn’t it occur to you guys that the dude is nothing but fraud and those money could be fake? Doing this to lure greedy fellows into his scam and swindle them of the little they have?

Only greedy and lazy people who think a man blood can be converted to polymer printed with machine developed by the white.

Well not everyone can critically think to solve their problem. Like a friend always says “if there was blood money then the so called ritualists in Nigeria will be richer that Bill Gates”.

Wait, international worship center worth 10 billion and Nigeria don’t have a factory that produce polyethylene bags. Nigerians never see suffer. When their counterparts are busy building factories, employing the masses, making their economy and currency great by doing such, Nigerians are busy building churches and mosques.
A time is coming when the youth of that generation will set fire to every worship center and build factories on the lands. A time is coming.

China today is leading the world with tech and every tech company has an headquarter there. In China, every corner you turn to is a factory, not a church and mosque. Now compare China the land of factories to Nigeria the land of churches and mosques.

Jamaica, Haiti and Nigeria is know to be very over religious in nature, guess what’s common in these land; yeah right POVERTY

Health / Re: Laser Oil Warns Nigerians On Danger Of Cholesterol by Dongreat(m): 3:21pm On Jan 05, 2018
Ok let me break it down as simple as I can because I see that truly a lot of Nigerians hate to read and love to joke about everything.

There’s something called hypercholesteameia, a condition that simply means too much cholesterol in the blood. It’s know fact that many of our native food is full of fats and these fats are stored in your body for various functions such as synthesis of steroid hormones, and energy. But if the fats are much then your cholesterol level shoots up and you are in danger of arteriosclerosis, which can lead to MI (heart attack), angina, and ischemia (stroke).

The body has four main types of cholesterol carrier but the major ones are LDL (bad carrier) and HDL (good carrier). The LDL is the main cholesterol pool while the HDL is responsible for absorb the cholesterol. So if you keep eating food rich in fats, you increase the LDL blood which moves freely in your blood and trust me you don’t want to increase the LDL pool.

The body itself also synthesis cholesterol from scratch (de novo) so you will definitely have cholesterol wether you eat fat food or not but the synthesized cholesterol are not harmful.

What I am saying is simple, eat food less in fat, cook with oils less in fat and be very careful about increasing your blood cholesterol. Try and google hypercholesteamia and click “images”.

When governments in the developed worlds are looking into the successes of last year to copy from and improve, and into the mistakes to learn from to avoid a repeat, my country people is listening to prediction from various prophets and GO because the briefcase, Royce Rolls, Versace, bling bling hooligans are telling them fantasies because it will please them and not direct them into reality.

On one side of the world are people who are looking into developing novel security techniques to counter terrorism and provide adequate protection to citizens, novel agricultural research to end food shortage, advance healthcare system to treat horrible diseases and economic policies to create jobs, and good standards of living.

On the other side of the world in Africa, Nigeria per se, you get to see citizens who are either too lazy or nonchalant to face reality but prefer to shout “2018 is my year of bla bla bla, there shall be rain in the land, the witches and wizards shall fall and die, recession shall not touch my family, and I will grow financially”.

Now between this two worlds, who will do better and who will fail again and again and again.

I patiently await to hear the wailing, regrets, seeing the sufferings and pains, the desperation and frustration from YOU the Nigerians because since you have decided not to get sense and choose going around in circles, then I have no pity.

Mr India, you probably ain’t aware of a neurotransmitter called “Dopamine”.

I am shocked that despite in 2017 many still don’t know the basic physiology of their body and why they keep indulging in certain things.

Well I won’t talk much as it’s quite difficult for some of us to keep explaining things that should have been known if we all take time to do some research.

They don’t necessarily let their children live in the lap of luxury.

Saving the best for the last, Bill Gates, the richest man on Earth doesn’t feel like spoiling his kids with a chubby wad of pocket money or exotic trips overseas. Walton, the heir to Walmart fortune wanted a normal upbringing for her son, so she raised him in an 1896 Victorian home in National City, Calif, outside of San Diego.

Not every billionaire owns a yacht or a private plane.

The CEO of Berkshire Hathaway doesn’t bother about owning a yacht because, as he puts it, “Most toys are just a pain in the neck.” Slim, CEO of Telmex may be one of the wealthiest person on the planet, but still drives himself to work.

Eating in cheap restaurants and haggling over prices at the market is totally their style.

The founder of IKEA says he drives a 15-year-old Volvo and always flies economy class. Kamprad and his wife have decorated their Switzerland home, with inexpensive furnitures from their own firm, as well as a few family heirlooms.

And yes, they bargain too!

When Theo, the co-founder of Aldi was kidnapped for 17 days in 1971, his brother, Albercht negotiated a bargain ransom of $4 million — which he then wrote off as a business expense. Just to tell you, Aldi is to Europe what Walmart is to the US. Big company!

They might choose to live like a minimalist with no lavish lifestyle floating around.

David Cheriton, the Stanford professor who has an estimated net worth of $1.3 billion from Google shares, hates the idea of living like a billionaire. “These people who build houses with 13 bathrooms and so on, there’s something wrong with them,” he says. Also, Buffett still lives in the Omaha, a home he bought more than 50 years ago.

They may live below their means because saving a few bucks won’t hurt.

With a worth more than $12 billion, Premji is said to monitor the number of toilet-paper rolls used in Wipro facilities and demands that employees switch off the lights when leaving their offices. Chuck Feeney, co-founder of Duty Free Shoppers chooses the second-cheapest wine from the wine list though he could buy the whole bar.

They don’t ALWAYS have to travel in luxury cars.

Azim Premji takes a three-wheel auto rickshaw from the Bangalore airport to his house when coming back from business trips. Zuckerberg still drives his old Acura and not some fancy supecar because “it’s safe and not ostentatious.”

They don’t invite the whole city to their weddings.

Most billionaires keep it a low-key affair with just few friends and family around. Buffett’s marriage to his second wife was a brief afternoon wedding at his daughter’s house in Omaha. While Zuckerberg’s wedding took place in his backyard.

Education / Facts To Prove The Simple Life Of Real Billionaires by Dongreat(m): 3:49pm On Dec 28, 2017
Have you ever wondered what you would do with a billion dollars? Drop dough on jets, yachts, and mansions? Well, that’s what they do in movies.

Back to the real world, billionaires, instead of wallowing in loads of cash, save up, live modestly, or give away huge chunks to some charity work.

Here are some of the strikingly different situations which tell how movies have led us to believe in lies. Contrary to what goes on in our Fantasyland, these billionaires, though can afford it, don’t choose to live in the lap of luxury.

They ain’t jam-packed with a suit and a tie all the time.

Mark Zuckerberg wears the same gray t-shirt and hoodie to work every day because no time to decide. Ortega, the founder of Zara has a simple dress code for himself; a uniform of blue blazer, white shirt and gray pants every day.

Correction!!! Ancient Egypt was not the first civilization to start religion in Africa. There was the Pre-Kerma culture, a Nubian civilization which is over 7000 years old. Most parts of Upper Egypt (Southern part of present-day Egypt) was called Lower Nubia. That was about thousands of years before ancient Egypt (Kemet) ever emerged as a political unit. The Nabta Playa was in ancient times located in Lower Nubia, the most ancient monuments, relics of Egypt are located in Upper Egypt (Lower Nubia) From Aswan all the way to Abu Simbel.

Amunra the King of gods in ancient Nile Valley civilizations (Nubia & Ancient Egypt) had a birthplace located in Modern day Sudan at Jebel Barkel.

Nubia gave birth to Kemet just as Great Britain gave birth to USA. Give Credit to whom credit is due

Don't get me wrong but am saying this because you are so right. Is it now to believe there is no God or that the God of the whites is a sham but yet their is God?

Sometime this things get f*cking complicated

Men are gods. Men created gods because they can’t explain what’s happening but today men beform science beyond comprehension that makes you marvel.
Religion is a powerful placebo, a tool to create a feeling of serenity after death.

You believe what you believe today because you were taught. Now teach yourself to believe in what you critically know not what is assumed.

Mujtahida:

Christianity is a sham. That's why I abandoned the madness. The black man was spiritually despoiled at some point in history even farther than the period of the slave trade and since he knows not himself he has gone whoring after an alien god that masquerades as the true god yet he has known no true upliftment. African nations are poor, in the US black communities suffer more impoverishment, Haiti is hell. Something is wrong with the consciousness of the black man and I feel it has its roots in the fact that we lack true spiritual identity as a people. Christianity and Islam have not really plumbed the depths of the black man's soul, they only skimmed the surface. Until we reject them-and that day of rejecting these religions will come not just for the black man but the world - we will know no true spiritual freedom which is the prerequisite for economic development.

Like my professor will say “Christianity is practiced widely today because we the British invaded nearly every land on earth and forced it on them and if we were serving Ogun back then, then majority today will see Ogun as Jesus”.

It’s so funny and strange when you see Nigerians whose land is situated in the continent of Africa, a continent known for her diverse culture and religion, had Egypt the land where religion truly started by worshiping several gods Anubis, Osiri, Amun etc and for a period with the reign of Akhenaten brought along the first monotheism of which Christianity plagiarized, worshipping, blinding defending and fanatism for a WHITE man god.

They came to our land, told us that our gods are unexisted, gave us a book written by no true author, amended to twist facts, a book written 2000yeras ago, 3000 years after Egyptology and a book where most of the stories including life and after death were plagiarized from the Egyptian book of the dead, and we Nigerians swallow hook and line and finally got tied into both physically and mental slavery.

Jesus said “In my father’s house there are many mansions and if it wasn’t so I won’t tell you” yet an OMNIPOTENT (check the meaning) god is literally asking for your physical dirty paper laced with chemicals and containing faces of celebrated corrupt individuals, and if you don’t you shall suffer, yet he’s omnipotent.

Don’t be stupid Nigerians. Read, study and you will see everything is a sham. If I have mansions in the after life why bother about private jets, earth mansions when I know my time is limited or luxury cars? Oh yes there’s none so I got to go banging on every vanity even at the expenses of the gullible poor.

Nigerians, Narialanders, time to think critically.

Ps: “the thief come to kill, steal and destroy but I come to give eternal life”. From the same man “if you think I come to bring peace to the world then you are mistaken for I come to bring the sword”.
You would think a perfect man can’t contradict himself.
