On August this year, when we went to Ebonyi state for seminar. Because of this nairaland propaganda, I drive around the town with a colleague of mine who is based in the state.... To my greatest surprise I didn't sight a single mosque in the street except a central mosque in Hausa dominated area. What I saw made me to ask some questions,my colleague said that it were all lies but I insisted that we must drive to Afikpo. When we got to Afikpo, I was very surprise that upon the propaganda on nairaland about the town. My brother, there was no mosque in sight. The only mosque in the town which is around their market is even bulit with bacha and very small and is the central mosque. Not until we went towards the federal poly outside the town that we saw the Islamic center that was build during Nigerian civil war.
The propaganda about Islamic presence in Ebonyi state are all lies.
