(1)First of all, LOOK AT THE MAP, then PLEASE explain how Kharkiv city is key to the capture of the Donbass region (Luhansk and Donetsk Oblast). Keep in mind that the Russians have already reached the administrative line of Luhansk Oblast and are already swinging northwards towards Kramatorsk again in a bid to fully secure the oblast and trap Ukrainian units in Sieverodonetsk - Lysychansk cauldron still trying to hold ground as ordered by Kyiv despite multiple pleas to withdraw to an area that is defensible. Keep in mind that the Russians are still up north right in front of the Ukrainians, and have already repulsed the Ukrainian "successful" counter-attack. Meanwhile, western media houses who are trying to spin the Ukrainian "counter-attack" as a "success" ( .....sorry) are grudgingly admitting that the Russians are actually making an orderly withdrawal from the area. Does that sound like an army beating a hasty retreat?

(2) Abeg when and where were the Russians pushed back on the Izyum front? Who gave you that superstory, especially when the Russians are still pushing down south from SAME axis? Again if you've bothered to LOOK AT THE MAP you would've seen that in between the Kharkiv city and Izyum front is a natural barrier, that being the Severskyi Donets river. And as you and Team Slava Ukraine were probably celebrating over the initial failed Russian river crossing, you most probably missed the news that roughly the same day the Russians had returned the favour as they equally destroyed a Ukrainian pontoon crossing further north on the same river. But hey, please do tell about this phantom "successful" pushback of the Russian force at the Izyum front.

But hey, continue to swallow the gunk the makers of "Ghost of Kyiv" are feeding. Ukraine is winning......

This so called special operation was never to take Donbass. I say this because they have destabilized since 2014 and have been there since then. Putin wanted to overthrow Zelensky in Kiev and control the whole country. He wanted to de-militarize Ukraine and install his puppet as CinC. He failed woefully in the capture of Kiev. Part of the strategic plan was also to take over the second largest city, Kharkiv and he failed again because he under estimated the resilience of the Ukrainian people. He also never thought Ukraine will get the massive support from the world they are gettijg now.

Please lets stop saying Kiev and Kharkiv are not strategically important, If they werent, why commit so much resources trying to capture them and encountering so much losses? Let the truth be said, in 2014, the world allowed him get away with a lot and he thought it will be business a usual. But he miscalculated this time.

If you have been to Russia, you will understand propaganda is their watchword. They are not as strong as they make the rest of the world believe they are. Give your people better food and job first before you start competing with world powers. How much is the basic salary of an average Russian before sanctions were leveled on them. What will be the situation now that they have loadz of sanctions already loaded? Economically, how many products have you seen tagged made in Russia,lets be honest?

I wonder what Russia will do now that Finland has activated NATO membership and it looks like it will be fast-tracked? Will they invade Finland? We all know the answer to that question. They cant because they simply dont have the resources. Russia is bugged down in small Ukraine and we are talking of Finland and Sweden.

Finally my take is, Russia is not as strong as they made the world to believe they are, however even if they are, when a whole community decides to face you, it difficult to come out victorious.

What last location? What I know is that at the start of the conflict, Russia actually pushed into Kharkiv city but were beaten back as they faced stiff resistance. Ever since then they've basically been shelling the city. In the 2nd Phase, they've not made any push into the city and they CLEARLY stated that liberating Donbass was the objective. Kharkiv city is not. Even at that, the Russians are still in the Kharkiv Oblast.

The truth is, a weekly 20hrs can never be sustainable for a single student, hence the need both the school and ukvi require you to show your POF. This is why people like us are going with our partners �.

Most students resort to cutting corners which land them into trouble (PSW denial) while some get away with it. How they get away with it is something that is totally unprofessional and shouldn't be discussed here.

If they are applying with you, they dont need to show it but you need to have it ready just incase it might be requested by the ECO.

Please house I need some experienced answer to this question. If your dependants(spouse and kids) are to later join you in the UK, and your kids are US and Canadian citizens(countries that do not need to show funds available for upkeep), Is it only your spouse that is required to show proof of upkeep funds or all your dependants? I read somewhere that if your dependants are citizens of countries that are exempt from showing proof of funds and they are applying with you,then they dont need to show funds but if they are applying seperately, then you might need to show funds for them. I honestly need an up to date response to this house. Thanks for the good work you guyz have been doing. Cheers

Pardon the confusion. Must here is relative - it was used to convey the importance of the situation. I should have typed "should ideally" since this is advisory.

The dependant won't have access to "free" (subsidised) NHS services since IHS is not paid for visas that are 6 months or less. What if something happens and your dependant needs healthcare? The bill might be crippling and end up being more than the yearly IHS.

Also, coming too close to when the main applicant puts in an application for the graduate visa might raise flags as to the timing. You need to have lived together for some time before the application - this shows genuineness and doesn't come across as arranged. Coming few weeks to the visa end date might raise some doubts around being genuinely married except there are genuine reasons for this.

If you plan to arrive less than 6 months to the end of the main applicant's visa and for some reason, UKVI delays your application or other circumstances beyond your control happen, it means that you might not arrive before your partner has to put in an application for the graduate visa which may see you living without your partner for the better part of 2 years, in the absence of a work visa. If you're not in the UK as a dependant prior to the application, you won't be able to apply as a dependant.

Some HRs also don't have a strong grip of immigration rules and it might be difficult to get a job (if you want one as a dependant) because 1. You don't have a BRP (even with BRP, some of them still errorneously delay employment checks because it's not a situation that they are used to and 2. The short duration on the visa might deter some employers (the ones who will employ you will do so irrespective of the hurdles).

So to avoid stress and plenty "explanations" or last minute issues, better to join earlier.

Please note that each application is different and is subject to the ECO's discretion.

On 6th December , I got first NSF mail and additional email requesting supporting work documents (9 years gap study).

7th December documents sent( offer letter, work identity card, payslip, Recommendation letter, NYSC certificate).later I discovered payslip wasn't necessary and even dangerous. Guys, keep your docs simple, if they didn't ask, don't give


Same day acknowledge the receipt of the documents.

8th December, got NSf mail

9th December, UKVI contacted my bank for account statement verification.

9th December, sent mail requesting the status of the visa application. Received response that my file has been escalated.

10th December, hey said they had escalated and will reply within 15 working days. Jeeezzzz

13th December, sent another mail informing them my application is Priority type, and shouldn't take that long. Same day, I got response that decision has been made.

14th December, received mail from TLS" documents ready and will be delivered through DHL,

15th December, 3:15pm DHL delivered passport to me, and there it was, my visa sitting pretty smiling at me.

It's been an emotional journey.

Thank you JESUS, THANKSGIVING AND ADORATION BE UNTO YOUR NAME AMEN. I'm based in the north, and had to travel to Abuja countless times via road for medicals, biometrics, etc. News of kidnapping and bandits everyday but God kept me.
