dogooder: Nigerians are about to make mistakes again as usual. I could remember i personally warned people against Buhari in 2015 and 2019, they refused to listen, some friends even fell apart from me then. Today, some of them are among the worst affected by this governments bad policy and they cant stop apologising to me. Like i used to tell them back then, i was in secondary school when Buhari reigned as the military head of state and i knew how he ruled Nigeria, so i cant make a mistake of trusting such a person again. Now to Tinubu, he has every right to contest for presidency but i am very sure that his government is not gonna be different from that of Buhari, infact i personally think APC is not what Nigeria need in 2023. Of course, they might have some good guys but they need to be voted out first thereby telling them Nigeria does not belong to any political party, person or tribe BUT belongs to Nigerian people. They need to lose that power and get their brains reset to know that power belong to God and to the people. Tinubu as a person has political right(In Naija) but has no moral right to lead a nation successfully. Everything about him since he came to political limelight in the 90's is shrouded in corruption and falsehood, his age, place of birth, his sojourn abroad, his place of NYSC, his certificate, his style of politics etc and even his style of governance have been questioned times without number and when you think about all these what you see is Corruption. In a sane environment, somebody like him should not even be known with any politician not to talk of being one. Just as he has every right to contest, Nigerians also has every right to vote for him and whoever they want as their president but i am sure he is another disaster waiting to happen. I hope this time around, my people will choose wisely.
Note: Before you start calling me names, i am a yoruba man in my 50's who lives abroad. But i don't support the kind of politics we play in Nigeria. Sentimental politics based on Tribe, Religion and Influence. It has never helped us and it will not lead Naija to anywhere good.
Okay who do you think can lead Nigeria to greater heights among the contestants?
But Yoruba voted Jonathan from SS in 2011 presidential election. While Ribadu,Tinubu party flag bearer lost in all Yoruba states except in Osun. What made this possible?
Whoever becomes Nigeria president has never been my problem, but I never kept quiet in 2014,telling everyone that cared to listen that voting Buhari is voting for hunger. It is not too much work for people to find out what went wrong from 2011-2014 btw Jonathan and Tinubu
Honestly I like this your contribution. But can you please share more light on what happened between Jonathan and Tinubu with anyone who cares to know? Thanks in advance.
nancyofosua: Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a liar and should not be president of Nigeria. Bode George while he was interviewed on Arise Tv asks Tinubu to say the truth about where he was born, his educational qualification and his age before he comes out to contest for president come 2023.
Unfortunately, he's an ex-convict that his words cannot be taken serious again. To me, he's just trying to be relevant again. And of course, Tinubu name is what anyone can just use to become popular in this present atmosphere. So he tried.
Alabule: Yes there are serious questions about his age? Where he originates from? His drug peddling connections Corruption? Except for the bullion vans, I don't think there is any reasonable case against him. If there is Obadanjo and Jonathan would have jailed him. They tried, but they couldn't build a case against him. Tinubu still seems the most prepared. He's been preparing for this moment since 1999. He's busy building bridges, mending fences and getting stronger every single day. There's no real opposition to him becoming the next President of Nigeria. Sad to say he does not have the solution to Nigeria's problem. (For example his solution to unemployment is that youths should join the military.)
IMOO, President Buhari is his only opposition. If President Buhari should decide to be neutral, then no solid opposition is viable.
gabito4luv: I made a trip from Lagos to Benin on Saturday 10th Dec. Left home by 9am hit Lagos Ibadan exp by 10am. Was dring a Ford edge with my kids inside. The road was traffic free all the way from Lagos till Ore. My vehicle broke down on 3 occasions. The amazing thing about the journey was that the police were friendly. In most check points they didn't stop me cos of kids. Others politely just asked a little token N100 or N200, one even asked for my bottle water which I gladly gave him. Another stopped me checked my stuff in the booth and allowed me to go. Only one checked my particulars. Everything was complete and he handed them back to me bade me farewell without asking for money. My advice, leave home early, ensure your vehicle is in good condition to avoid unnecessary delay and exploitation by road side mechanics. Move with your complete vehicle particulars (photocopies). Be patient with the policemen and allow them do their job. I got to Benin 7pm.
gentlemmy: I was bored and decide to stroll around the compound, there is this particular spot where snakes usually chill early hours of the day or late evening. I've never seen one but anytime I'm there, I'm always cautious and secretely wish to see snakes (I've this double feeling about snakes, I hate it but like seeing it)
Lo and behold, I saw this juvenile snake hunting for insect or so, it sense my movement and run to safety, I thought of letting it go but in few months time, it'll be all grown and pose a threat to people around.
I picked a stone and threw on it and boom I hit it spine, it motion was limited and I picked it.
