Thanks for the summary. Pls I want to confirm if you were receiving updates as your passport was going through each process or you got the whole info after completion. We submitted our passports (family of 3) via Abuja VAC on the 15th of February, got confirmation that same day that passport is in transit and till date, no other information. I've been tracking almost everyday, still the same passport is in transit.
valves:
This is a summary of my timeline for passport submission via VFS Lagos. Just to act as a guide to those who used VFS Lagos.

PPR date: 12th January 2022.

Submitted passport at UPS office (2-way delivery): 17th January.

VFS Lagos Received passport: 18th January. They
confirmed that passport is in transit same day.

Passport was received at VFS Ghana: 7th February.

Passport got to IRCC: 10th February.

Counterfoil was generated on: 17th February.

Passport sent back to VFS Ghana: 18th February.

Passport got to VFS Lagos: March 1st.

UPS delivered passport to me (because I did 2-way delivery): 7th March.

In all, it took a little over 6-weeks. That's a lot of time, but I was not in a hurry.

A friend used VFS Abuja. He submitted on Jan 15th (DHL & 2-way). Passport was delivered to his house on 25th February. That's approx. 5 weeks.

Thank you for your feedback. Pls, did you compile all your family's documents in an envelope and made payment for one way courier? Or each applicant's documents in a different envelope and made payment for one way courier individually?

Thank you so much for your response.
PreciousRuby:

Congratulations on your PPR.

The transmission fee might be 9410 per applicant (applicable to Lagos) since you had your biometric at Lagos VFS. Alternatively, you can either call or mail them to get the needed information.

Good afternoon everyone. I am a first timer here. We recently got our ppr, we are a family of 3. We had our biometrics at Lagos VFS and intend sending our docs to Abuja VFS because we heard it's faster than Lagos. Pls, I want to confirm if the package transmission fee is to be paid for each of us or just one payment to cover us all. Thank you
