Hi Nairaland members, I would just like to draw your attention to a new youth organisation which was established in January 2006. Do something positive Nigeria sets out to undertake charity work, youth development and community builiding. We will achieve this by hosting charity balls consisting of a presentation/introduction of DSPN,talent/fashion shows of talented youths. The first event is in Bristol,UK on the 9th of June 2006 and the second charity event will be in December in Lagos. You can find more information about DSPN on www.dosumthing.com. The forum aims to bring all Nigerian youths together all over the world to pose new ideas on how to move Nigeria forward and improve sectors like education and health. Please join the discussion board and leave your details on the pop up screen to enbale us keep you informed about future events and activities. Thank you Dumebi Agbakoba(Miss) D.S.P.N Director

Adverts / Do Sumthing Project For Nigeria by dosumthin(f): 1:09am On Jan 26, 2006 |
Hello, Happy New Year, I am currently working on a project for Nigeria called 'Do Sumthing'. The aim of my project is to make Nigeria a better place for everyone.I am a concerned youth who would like to make a difference and improve Nigeria no matter how long it takes.Doing Sumthing means that these issues need to be faced so Nigeria can be a better place for the younger generation. The whole concept is simple. The Nigerian Youths in Diaspora have an advantage to channel their broadly acquired experiences to improve our national values, inspire a change and engineer solution to emerging concerns. I am hosting a show in July in Lagos, it will be a presentation of all the points, issues and problems people have raised on my website and some entertainment as well. There is a website dedicated to this cause please feel free to have a look, www.dosumthing.com. I would really appreciate the participation of the Nigerian Ministries, Government Parents and especially the Youths of Nigeria as you play an important role in the upbringing of our Motherland. Thank you |
