Hey! A friend pointed out to me that his application bar disappeared. I checked other forums and noticed some people made same observation while others with same application date said theirs still shows. Do you know what it means? Have you checked your profile recently to find out if it's still there? Mine is still showing though my expected date is still next month June 18, I submitted my application on the 18th of December 2019...VO is Accra.

Ghost update just means your file is actively being worked on. It is usually good news so congratulations!

I don't know if this would work for AVO but If you want an accurate answer on what stage you're at, raise a webform on here and ask them specifically about - Eligibility, Security and Criminality.
GCMS notes is another option.

I know someone who works in a Federal Agency tasked with the nation's fiscal responsibility.He got his reference letter from his direct boss who has a right to the departmental letterhead. He's in Canada now.

As a matter of fact, IRCC says your reference letter should be issued and signed by your immediate supervisor in the organization's letter head as long as he is entitled to use the LETTERHEAD!

In a situation where someone works in a Federal Government Agency that has Corporate(Head) office,

Regional/Zonal office and

Branch(State) offices respectively, and the staff is in the Branch/State office,

where is it advised to get REFERENCE LETTER from,Pls?

I used courier plus and it was delivered since October 12th do you think I should place a call or just wait a bit longer? Can you please give me the details of the fax centre that you used? forgot to mention,iqas does not accept fax anymore.i used hellofax.a friend's faxed doc was rejected recently.they will send you an email soon OK.I did not contact them because I already knew about the delay so I waited patiently. Like I said,my transcript took a month to be acknowledged.
