Hello everyone, I have a pending application at the home office since May, however, my passport got expired before I could get a decision. I have applied for a new passport. Please, does anyone know how I can contact the home office within UK to update them of the issue?

You've both asked and answered your own question.

If:
a) you have a valid visa which entitles you to seek employment;
b) you have found employment;
c) the employer is prepared to employ you with your current immigration permission and has stated it is also prepared to provide you with the necessary means to change your status when that becomes necessary;
then
d) you should accept the employer's offer and commence employment as your visa allows you to do.

Thank you so much for your response.

Hello,

Please I need a clarification on Tier 2 application. Can a tier 4 dependant start a job on a valid visa before applying for a tier 2 visa? The new company is happy to sponsor but wants him to start first since his current visa allows him to work and has not expired.

I feel so sad

Got my first result for one of my modules and it's a C. I was hoping to be on the path to a distinction. The lecturer said not to do too much and to stick to his notes, a course mate that went outside his notes got an A. Was he trying to be funny?
Is it still possible to attain it with this poor start?

Hey,
I was writing my portfolio yesterday and saw my first piece of coursework, I had a C, and if I'll l mark it myself now, I'll probably give myself a pass. But I got better as time went on.

You should learn from it going forward and always look at your assessment marking requirements before you submit any work so you can know what's required of you.

If you can still make a distinction, I dont know but it is not impossible, just focus on your remaining work and
don't give up on what you want to achieve. You'll be alright.

Regards

See this idiot boy oo..that coated mn utd the Europa final oo..God save u say u no be Nigerian sha..u wouldn't have live to say this rubbish. Proud fool

Why are you wishing this innocent young man death, because he chose to serve? Yours is even worse than those that are racially abusing him. You should walk in his shoe and see how it feels. What will you do if he was a Nigerian? Well... thank God he is not.. Because he has a beautiful soul.. fed millions of school children during the pandemic. You are here talking about how poor he is in his business.Wait, you that you are good in what you do, what have you achieved in your life? How many lives have you impacted? Please think before you type next time... Say to others what you want them to say to you.... Its common knowledge to those that have brains to think.

OVERTHINKING? I think that’s one of an introvert most known identity , we are very quite so we tend to notice everything and read meaning to every thing. I’m trying to stop over thinking, it’s not easy it doesn’t even let me focus. So I understand how u feel. Just work on it, life goes on, make a concious efforts not to stress over things.

Neglecting the outside world would have been a bliss but sadly we need each other to survive on this earth, that’s why I think u need to try to attend relevant events with important persons like ur co workers, they are going to misinterpret everything as pride. They obviously want to make u feel bad for canceling , make an effort to explain to them that u were sick or something, don’t make it seem like you just didn’t want to attend.

Thank you so much for this, I usually manage to attend outings with friends before, maybe I'm not just in a good place right now. I'll try to make efforts to interact more. I've actually taken a first step which is reducing the time i spend on my phone at work this way, I can actually interact with my colleagues.

Hi everyone, I found this thread and I want to talk about something that has been bothering me for a few weeks. I've always known myself to be an introvert but I think its getting worse. Don't misunderstand me, I really enjoy my own company. I can stay indoors for days reading, meditating and doing my own things.

Now, I feel my colleagues think I'm snobbish. Recently, we organised a party for someone leaving our workplace and everyone planned the party, to be sincere, I wanted to go, I even got a new cloth and accessories to match. but on that day I just sent a message to the group, telling them I wont be able to come. The next few days at work was not nice for me as some people were not happy that I canceled. I have also been declining a lot of outings from my supervisor as I just want to be alone after work as talking drains my energy. But i think this may affect my chances if any opportunity arise in my job.

Finally, I've been overthinking a lot. I just want to get everything sorted on my head.

Is any other person feeling like this or I'm on my own?

My self and 2 dependants did a group Submission at TLS Abuja.
I got a message today to pick up the visa for my 2 dependants ( spouse and son), whereas decision has not been take on mine, the main applicant. This is turning my head.
-Has anyone experienced this before?
Please house shed some light on this my case.
I'm worried.

It happened to my husband as the main applicant and my daughter. Only my passport was returned exactly 6 working days (priority). We waited till the 10th working day, called them and they returned my husband and daughters passports the following day.

I applied for a priority visa with my son and husband as dependants. We had our biometric on the 30th of July 2018. On the 6th of August, I got a mail that my baby's passport is ready for collection. I picked his passport and he was given the visa. The problem now is that my passport and that of my husband is not ready. Am really worried because today is the 12 working day since after my biometric and am yet to hear from them.

Have you and your husband received your passport. I think am in the same situation. I applied together with my husband and daughter. I got my passport with visa on the 5th working day whereas my daughter and husband are yet to get theirs. My husband is the main applicant and we paid for priority.
If you have gotten it. What did you do and how soon did u get it.
Thanks
