I was there in early December 2022. It's a beautiful country. Used e-visa which was sent by the an organisation that invited me. Flew from Lagos to Adisa Ababa in Ethiopia and then connected to a flight which landed in Mamana. Bahrain is way cutter than Dubai hands down and I saw some Nigerians flying there. But on my way back, I saw dozens of Africans been deported back to their country. The police in mofty held their passports, and were discussing with the airlines and I was almost mistaken with those guys to be deported. Besides, Bahrain is very expensive. My hotel, the 4 seasons cost an insane amount which I wish the organizers could give me instead. It's purely a tourist country for Arabs and not africans. The only tribes I saw Working there are Bangladesh, Indians, Phillipinos, and people from Nepal. The few blacks I spotted working freely there are Ugandans and Kenyans. And their job are usually in restaurants and as laundry workers. I hope this helps 1 Like |

Nigeria is a shythole yet some governors are getting it right and transforming the fortunes of their citizens. Some are encouraging Igbos and are watching as their state is been made ungovernable yet they want to control the entire country. 29 Likes 1 Share |

The real truth is, the UK is designed such in a way that if you are not earning up to 20k to 30k pounds annually, and how on earth will a student ever make that kind of money--well unless you do your Yahoo! wella but FYI, FBI now works with Scotland Yard, or else you will suffer like there is no tomorrow. I dont mean you will suffer like you are in Nigeria, over here no one will feed you, you will starve, and forget all those benefits they are shouting about, its not for you, its for their own citizens, so to be truthful, if you are not careful, you will just be another guy abroad suffering more than even the people living in your own African village. On monthly basis, for a single person you will need as little as 1,500 GBP to take care of housing, food, utilities and others. 1,500 GPB is the least, I mean, we are talking extreme austerity survival here where you are barely surviving and may die of heart attack if you lost 1 pound of your monthly expenses! Don't even think of anyone giving you 1 pound to support you, na you and harsh reality. I spent over 1 year in 2018 there, I was there again last year, inflation is killing the immigrants who had fled there. There are more people now, lesser housing, less jobs --- meaning lesser wages and higher cost of living. There are far better countries than the UK: Turkey, France, Sweden, Spain, even Norway or giving visas with far greater benefits. See that UK was built by Ijebu people, they designed it to give you only oxygen, while stripping every other benefits away from you. Forget living in Manchester or Leeds, with the insane inflow of refugees from Syria, Algeria, Ukraine and others, cost of living has gone over the roof. Plan well before you japa. I am happily here in Naija, hustling and doing, I am going to be going on vacation to any of these countries by God's grace -- I am tired of seeing on blacks doing cleaners, on farms, doing security guards, and the ones you see in every European downtown begging you for 5 euros because they are dying of hunger. You are free to insult me as well. Your eyes go clear 103 Likes 14 Shares |

I’ve been to France, loved Marseille and most of the people speak English, although not fluently. Cool people and great food but too many Arabs. I’d rather live in France than UK. I regret not focusing on my French classes back then. i for get more options and could live in Switzerland, Belgium, Luxembourg and others. 32 Likes 3 Shares |

DARU DAPO OF OGUN STATE |

They are all alike: wretched, dirty and ugly as a gorillas. Totally unprofessional, and worse than the criminals they are supposed to stop, because atleast, you will flee on seeing a criminal, but these scums will stop you and even kill you if you dont stop. I was recently arrested in Lagos for taking 1 way --- although I blame myself due to the severe flooding which blocked my path: I never knew in Lagos, you must destroy your car or else you will be nabbed by the insane and senseless task force Sanwo-Olu asked to extort Lagosians. Imagine police officers using iphones promax, all of them oh -- I was inside their bus for over 4 hours before they collected 90k from me! This what the Lagos State Police has become under Sanwo-Olu -- a gang of extorters whose focus has shifted away from security, but just milking the terrified citizens dry. Sanwo-Olu, well done. I mean, how can killers be the one walking around, calling themselves Police Officers in a city like Lagos. This year election, I am voting for BAT, but I am NEVER ever voting for Sanwo-Olu again; and will happily cast my vote for anyone else. The guy has lost control of this Lagos Police totally. What is a governor that can't control the security agency in his own state? 13 Likes 6 Shares |

Imagine Obi who lives in Lagos with his children even admitting it and his mumu supporters claping for him. Indeed a mob has no brain. I'm sure seun who is now a sympathiser for IPOB and the Ibo agenda won't let this get to the front page. Anyways, RIP to nairaland 4 Likes 1 Share |

Thedon22: Imagine even admitting the same person your entire tribe hates passionately provided job, security and community for your own child just like your useless ungrateful and pathetic supporters. Seun, continue supporting this werey, after this election, I'm sure you and your family will relocate to Anambra in your solidarity to support the sit at home caused by series of failed leaders like PO in the SE.
