Every market exists through a force between demand and supply which determines the profit margin of a brand. This force is proportionate to how customers perceive the brand- brand perception. A positive brand perception via effective PR campaigns would aid customers to choose one’s brand over others.

Perception is formed from what we hear, see or feel about a brand, which in turn results to reality in our mindsets. Certain factors influence people’s perception about a brand via a positive or negative lens based on past experiences. Customer care service experience and purchase experience can shape or reshape a customer’s perception about a brand, while most customers’ perception about a brand is inversely and/or conversely proportionate to what the company says, how she says it, brand’s logo, packaging and customers’ interaction with the brand. All these can only be ensured through an effective and efficient public relations management.

Perceived value of a brand is created through public relation and enhanced through communication using media channel and other PR platforms. Hence, the role of Public Relations cannot be overemphasized on how perception affects a business brand.

A 26-Year-Old house help has been arrested in Mwanza area of Tanzania for leaking a video of his madam having sex with a man friend to her husband.


The boy was arrested in the early wake of Thursday for interrogation by the State Police in Mwanza

The police disclosed that one Mr. Adimu who is the husband to the Madam reported the case, stressing that he told the houseboy he would give him money before he got the video clips from him.


Seif Amani who has been working with his master for 6 years said he leaked the video to the husband in order to get a good ransom to start up a better life.

“I just want to have better life. I video madam having sex with madam her man friend, and decided to show it my her husband on grounds that he will pay for it.”

Meanwhile, the Houseboy claimed he is yet to get any money from the husband as promised, rather he got him arrested.

However, the Tanzania police have arrested the madam and would arraign both the madam and the house before a court of law for hearing.
