You don't have any fundamental human rights to break the law of your country. It pays to do quick research before you speak sometimes.

State the specific law - I wan check something!

This woman's position has gone to her head. In same cultures, there is an acknowledged acclimatisation period. Come and arrest my generation - Arise O Compatriots!
Politics / Re: Nigeria We Hail Thee: Reintroduction Of Old National Anthem My Priority – Tinubu by Druss(m): 3:02pm On May 31
I was having a good day until I read this ... I was going to manage my small garri and fish.

Don't be surprised that 'Arise O compatriots' becomes the anthem of those protesting against APC and this government.

Politics / Re: Minister Lokpobiri: Kaduna Refinery Can Not Refine Nigeria Crude Oil by Druss(m): 1:08pm On May 30
Twy:

I doubt it was designed to only produce foreign crude. My guess is that it was designed to produce light and heavy crude. It is different from other refineries because it can produce lubricating oils and asphalt.

Indeed I do suspect there is some logic behind its purpose. However locating a refinery that requires supply of crude external to Nigeria, far from the ocean doesn't make good sense but then again we like the concept of 'ethnic balance'. You would need a pumping station and pipelines at the least which would require extensive maintenance. Economics of refineries are very delicate. Hard to see any economic justification for such a location.
Politics / Re: Minister Lokpobiri: Kaduna Refinery Can Not Refine Nigeria Crude Oil by Druss(m): 10:00am On May 30
This makes no sense. Who designed the refinery?
Food / Re: Chioma Okoli: Court Remands Erisco Tomato Paste Reviewer In Prison Over Comment by Druss(m): 4:12am On May 29
Where is the NAFDAC review of the product?

The ones I have seen confirm that there is sugar within the product albeit within the amount supported by the agency. There is no confirmation of exactly how much sugar.

Make of that knowledge what you will. However for those of you concerned about sugar intake - you know what to do. Also be checking other similar products. NAFDAC endorses addition of certain amount of sugar to tomato paste.

When a university refuses to upgrade its mentality, this is what happens. The amount of wastage that occurs.

Also I am sure they have a lot of alumni. They can reach out to them for ideas. But then again what do I know - I no be professor or doctor...

So, wait.... They're just introducing SCADA for grid control? . We're backwards Sha, Kai.

Very backwards. I am sure whoever advised the minister probably got recognition and bonus for such an ingenious suggestion. Damn! I wonder what will happen when they introduce PLCs to him.

I am dead. SCADA is not an app.
Politics / Re: Why National Grid Hasn’t Collapsed In Last 2 Months – Power Minister, Adelabu by Druss(m): 2:22pm On May 25
SCADA is the solution to the power grid being automated? Who briefed this chap on what SCADA is? It matters more what you are running on the SCADA. It is not a magic bullet.

Note my field is automation systems.

Hmm imagine a foreigner seeking to invest and sees the companies running away, Binance heads in jail, Twitter scandal, people struggling to remit funds ... Let's not talk about insecurity issues all over the country.

It is good for the right investment to come in but we need to work on the above issues.

Eh yah. A politician reneging on promises? Must be a unique sight. Especially in Rivers of all states - all their governors have been keeping their loyalty and promises to previous ones ..

Abeg tell Wike to stop bleating in Rivers and go bleat in Abuja. He should face his job. Hypertension is a dangerous illness.

Get a needle and puncture your eardrums if you are not happy hearing him talk.

I see you are a fan of mad goats. Perhaps you are in need of the above treatment of your own eardrums. Who cares if the man talks like a mad goat - it is friendly advice. To neutrals like me, it is behaviour unbecoming of a minister.

So because there are such levies in Ghana and Rwanda, we must then impose them in Nigeria.

Wonderful

I actually predicted they would use this line. The FG and State governments need to be called to account for how they spend our taxes and other income. Governors have security votes yet there is massive insecurity. FG has huge spending on police and military yet farmers can't farm in peace.

This govt doesn't give a shit. They can get away with anything. APC and Tinubu in particular are demonic. They have succeeded in using propaganda and paid idiots online to divide us to a level that we can't even protest or demand for change. Watch how the paid clowns will swarm on this thread.

The irritating thing is that the clowns think the scraps from their masters' table will make them rich because one day they will get to that level - Newsflash! It will not happen. They are setting up their own flesh and blood to take over from them. Continue defending the very people that are making you poorer and poorer. This goes to all the posters insulting fellow Nigerians who have a right to be unhappy.

NB I await someone coming to say it is 2% in another country ..
