Thanks so much bro!

You have really been helpful!

studycenter:
This is not true. Use the right CLB equivalent between the two test to calculate.

IETLS, CELPIP, PTE core, anyone you choose to use give the same score.

The advantage of having all three is making decision between which one is easier to pass. I can tell you for free that it's currently PTE core (ask the Indians, that's what they all take now).
From its shorter tasks to less test time duration and its 3 modules against the other 4. Plus you have the advantage to practice with direct test questions and exact test template before your test. You practice and replicate to get your desired band score.

We can help with providing comprehensive preparatory material for all of the listed test and also offer guide. Reach out below:08106337690_

Guys!! .. I finally received my stamped passport with COPR letter this week! It's been a journey of patience and hope.

Story:
I initially planned to start the process in 2020, even took the CIIN exam for additional degree, but one thing led to another and I moved to Dubai instead.

I got married to my wife in January 2023 but couldn't bring her over cause of the Dubai ban on Nigerians hence we decided to attempt the express entry program again with me being the main applicant.

Timeline:

IELTS July 2023
WES evaluation August 2023
Entered pool August 2023 with CRS score 488

Got invited and accepted Alberta PNP September 2023 (sibling lives there)

ITA - October 2023
AOR - November 16 2023 (used sale of land and salary account as POF, Upfront medicals)

Biometrics - January 16 2024

ADR - April 3 2024.. Payslips for a year, Educational diplomas, IMM 5669 Schedule A, RPRF payment receipt

PPR - May 2

I submitted my passport to Abudhabi VFS and got it back within 2 weeks. My wife submitted in Lagos, it's still at Accra OC, hoping to get it back soon.

Thank you all for the support and to everyone still hoping and trying, no give up oooo!!!!

Hello guys,

Please I just noticed something now that IELTS give more point than CELPIP. I didnā€™t believe this at first but I actually did a rough CRS check and it was through. I picked the highest score for each exam and the CRS score differ while every other parameters was constant.

Please who can also confirm this as I am about to finally decide on which to write. Thanks.

Please see the images belowā€¦ the 418 is CELPIp and the 438 is IELTS

I think a Job offer is required for this category.

This agriculture experience will come o handy for Category Based Draws...
Please scroll down to check if your job roles fall within any of these three NOCs.

You'll also need a language test along with your WES ECA to enable you enter the pool.
If you already have one , then dive into the pool, there might be an agric draw soon.

2.ECA for IRCC.

Use the job portal on the canada.ca website.
You can also check each provinces for some specifics job for that province.
When applying from Nigeria, your attention should be on jobs that is open to those outside Canada

Hi,
There is an address that will be displayed for you on the WES portal together with your reference number. Use that address when applying for the transcripts to be sent on your school portal.

GreenDee:

Hi, Goodday.
Please will WES send the reference form to the school, after you pay the WES Fee. Because I am confused, uniben online transcript application requires an address or official email address for the transcript to be sent to. Should I include WES courier address. Thanks

Hi Bro,

I think we have some things in common. I am also focusing on Saskatchewan because of its flexibility in the PNP program and trying to explore the Non-EE Stream which I still consider smooth and easier.

If you don't mind, may I ask what stage are you currently in? For me, I am waiting for WES to finish up with my evaluation, and then I have booked my CELPIP exam for the end of June, so technically, I am looking at the first week of July to create the profile on the Sask website and enter their pool as well as the federal EE pool.

We can connect on WhatsApp if you don't mind to further provide support and guidance for each other. Let me know if this interests you.

Singingbae:

Thank you so much for the clarity. More reason I want to focus on saks is because I donā€™t have any sibling in Canada and I heard saks donā€™t require that. Yeah, Iā€™m an field service engineer that transitioned into data science, I know my skills will be in demand

Thank you so much for your response....

I really appreciate

amikable97:

From what you just quoted, it looks like it is your wife that can claim points through her in-law as the primary applicant. As the relationship is directly linked to her (her uncleā€™s wife).
But if you decide to be the primary applicant you canā€™t claim the point o.
This is the much I can say. If you have further questions on this issue I suggest you seek the opinion of a licensed IRCC lawyer or representative. Some of them take consultation for a fee.

If you write CELPIP and pass, writing IELTS should not be in question as it will not be counted (except you have too much money to dash British Council) because they are test of the same language ENGLISH.
TEF or TCF are the only tests you can take for FRENCH ie (Second Language).
Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by DTOBS(m): 6:59am On Apr 24
Thanks bro for your response but I am a bit lost.

So, I am writing CELPIP soon, for the second language test, can i write CELPIP/IELTS that is english again or what? Or the second language test I must have must be another language outside English that is French.?

studycenter:
You can take either CELPIP, IELTS or PTE. All are English language proficiency test. You want to claim dual language, then it's either of the three and TCF/TEF (English + French)

Hello bro/sis,

Once again, thanks for your response to my question yesterday. So I went back to Saskchewan webpage and tried to read more on the requirement for the family support. For the category I am planning to apply to which is "Occupation in-demand" in Saskchewan (does not need me to have a job offer or a federal Express Entry Profile), below is the requirement for the family support i saw:

"Close family relative in Saskatchewan
The applicant or accompanying spouse has a family relative that is a Canadian citizen or permanent resident living in Saskatchewan and is not supporting any other family relatives at the time of your application. Eligible family members are a: parent, sibling, grandparent, aunt, uncle, niece, nephew, first cousin and step-family members or in-laws of the same relationships. The family members in Saskatchewan must meet the requirements as listed under ā€œRequired Documentsā€ for your ISW sub-category. If your close relative in Saskatchewan has supported other relatives before your application, you must submit proof that the nominee who your close relative previously supported has been settled successfully in Saskatchewan for at least six months."

With this, is it still feasible to use my wife uncle's wife?

Also, on the 2nd Language Test, I am planning to write CELPIP by Jun this year, can I also write IELTS as the second language test or it has to be french test that must be the 2nd language?

Thanks

amikable97:

You Cannot use a distant cousin to claim points. Only direct siblings. I think that Manitoba is the only province that accepts extended family ties and friends but trust me, proving the relationship is not a walk in the Park... Try and go back to your drawing board and restrategize.

Hello Guys,

Gradually, I am progressing on this journey and sooner than I think, me too will share my testimony of the PR.

Please, I need clarification on this issue gurus in the house.

I am targeting Saskachewan Non Express Entry Stream. I have calculated my CRS Score on the Saskachewan website (directly from IRCC website) and the Max point needed is 110. I intend to use my wife's distance cousin's wife who is a PR in canada as a proof of family tie. My question is "Is this possible and Feasible?". If it is possible, this will give me additional 20points and that means, I should be getting an ITA from province of Sask in their next draw. Also, if it is possible, what supporting document(s) will I and the person I intend to use as the proof of tie be presenting?

Please, I will be waiting for your answers.

Thanks so much guys

You can use either of the options below:
1. GTBank USD Debit Card. It has no transaction limit
2. Pay4Me App: All you need to do is download their app and pay in Naira, however, their charges is a bit high
3. Get someone in Canada to help you pay. (this is the cheapest)

I tried paying for WES using Wema Debit card which has a monthly limi of $500 but it did not w work. So I tried using the Western Union Money Transfer Option, so I got a WES reference ID but never got a payment order to pay Western Union.

I checked online and this seem to be a big problem for people. Please I need help

Should I create another account and do another evaluation or do I go about paying WES.

Thanks boss!

I later paid with my GTBank USD Debit Card.

The issue I was facing before was the transaction fee which I was not putting into consideration, so I just had to fund the card with above what is needed and it worked.

meetme01:

Find someone abroad to pay for you or create virtual card (grey.co)

You can send before payment. Just ensure your WES number is on the documents sent to WES

Best of luck

Hello
I hope this message meet you well.
Pls how did you go about your WES evaluation process.
What mode did you take in sending your transcript to WES and how much does it cost you to process your application.

Hello!
So, I followed the normal process of creating an account with WES and then select IRCC as the destination for the evaluation. Then I proceeded to request for my transcript from my school to be sent to WES directly using the reference form given by WES.
For my school (OAU), the transcript cost 45k plus extra 350 for charges.

For the WES fee, it is $CAD260. I had to reach out to someone in Canada to help make the payment on my behalf while I send the naira to them when my GTBank USD debit card was not going through.

Hope this helps

I think it is faster to get an ITA through the PNP! I donā€™t know, I am just thinking.

Please do you know how much weight it Carries if you choose that you have relative in Canada plus what is expected to be presented as evidence of that?

Thanks sir, I actually have chipper cash virtual card but I have not even thought of using it. Let me check their exchange rate as well. Thanks

If your Gtbank $card is not going thru, download the Chipper app and create a virtual dollar card. Fund with naira equivalent and pay with it.

I don't have anyone in Canada as at now and even if I got anyone, I am having USD not Naira. I don't know if this can still work by sending them USD and they pay for me in CAD$

Gr8fulHeart:
If u have some one in canada they can help you pay
They will convert your naira with the current rate and you send the equivalent in naira

Hello everyone,

Please I am facing a small issue paying for my evaluation with WES.

I have been trying to use my GTBank US$ debit card where I have some USD to make the payment for the WES Fee but it has been giving "Payment Failed" since. I have mailed WES to request why and they only sent one generic email back to me which is not even helpful.

Please, I am begging, who has a better and easier option to pay for the WES fee from Nigeria and can help? I also tried Pay4Me and after I had paid for the verification, I discovered that their charges for paying WES for me is over 25k naira which I don't even have currently.

Please, if you know of other means to make payment for WES, I will so much appreciate your help. Thanks so much.

Hello guys,

Please I am having a small issue with my WES Evaluation.

1. Making payment for the evaluation has been a hell of an issue. I have tried my GTBank USD Debit Card all to no avail.

2. I am confused as to when I should process my transcripts from my school (OAU) to send to WES. Is it after I have made the payment on WES or I can proceed to pay for the OAU transcript when I'm yet to make the WES Payment?

Please, I would appreciate your support if you have passed through this stage before.

I will be waiting for your response...
