trae_z: really, it wasnt as we all hyped it. like castano rightly said, NB came up with something else other than what goes on in an assessment centre we all know to be. just some forms to fill and you face a panel for a chat/interview as you deem it depending on your aura and charisma. i mean it becomes a rigorous interview when you have loopholes in you answers and composure but it is more of a chat if you are honest, factual and enthusiastic. then possibly, you get a reimbursment of your transport fare. so, no there was no group discussion except for a guy who was trying to show when the recruitment team was around (i guess he was just trying to boost his chances sha ) u may be asked during the interview to sell them a product. i was asked but in another way according to my interview. no one knows how many they want to take. i hear another set is gonna be there again today for another assessment. they should NOT be taking less than 10 and im pretty sure i am part of them. may i ask, WHY I WAS THE FIRST TO BE CALLED FOR THE INTERVIEW? im really baffled. shey na from the latest dem dey serve ni? |

Okay. so it's done! sorry guys, i just couldnt talk back there. rules are rules, you know. better still for my own sake anyways, the stuff went well except for Mr. Okoro on the left tackling me a little and the central man also. overall, i knew i did well and expects their call soon. how was urs generally? let's have a gist. i heard another set is coming tommorow for the same assessment. this came from my woman who heard the moderator tell the security peeps. mehn! i hope my lateness wont cause me trouble sha ooo. it is well. let's just hope for the best. |

problem is - 1. my nysc cert is only a photocopy. i dont have the originial. had to return it since 2008 cos my name was written correctly and hasnt collected it since. they've really been nonchalant. 2. my o'level result is also a print out - i couldnt get my cert cos i couldnt produce my photocard. but for these two - i have a sworn affidavit and back up docs, like my call up letters, postings to place of pry assgt etc. do u think i could convince them enough should they probe? i know if they want to verify, my things are authentic but still, initially, wont i look fake? i really dont knwo and im getting disturbed. it is well sha. |

u cant afford to stop driving man. u've got to manage ur clutch well. that;s important and use ur side mirrors too. ensure the proper use of trafficking lights. seat belt for u and ur passenger is very important. before u start, check that ur car is in order. read the traffic rules book to know what i'm talking about. it is well with us. as for me, i dont even know what to do or prepare for. one wonders what is gong to happen on monday. well, i believe it's the final stage and i know that the lord that has brought me this far, will finish his good work in my life. i will come out smiling. let's go guys, see u at our induction/training, |

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Nigerian Breweries Calling by Dunddy(m): 11:17am On Jun 22, 2011 |
aren't we supposed to fill out the attached form and send back to them? a friend told me we would have a short test on numeral skills. dunno what kind of questions it will be. as far as i know, assessment test is meant to check out your impact in a team. you are expected to have an idea of what is going on and contribute meaningfully without imposing yourself on yourself on your teammates. anybody with another view on what i just said? 1 Like |

i just tot this should be a great idea of helping us all know the kind of questions and answers one gets and gives respectively in an interview. let's do it this way, i ask a question, you give your best answer possible. then ask another question for the next poster to answer. if you have another idea on how to answer and already answered question, please do share with us (remembering to quote the question you are answering). Be concise too! here we go: give me an example of when you had to work very hard to regain the trust you lost to someone. |

An assessment test is an opportunity for the recruiting team observe some traits they want in the potential employees. however, since the participants do not know exactly what attitude or character may be needed, isn't there a possibility of exhibiting some unwanted outward/outspoken characteristics or being unduly reserved cos one doesn't want to look like Bebeto? if you have been there before, kindly help us get through the Nigerian breweries exercise. thank you. |

Thanks man, but i indeed set out at past 5am but waited somewhere for the rain to stop. had to enter like that when it did not at 7 am. besides i had 2 pairs of suits. the one i wore to work/lagos and the other one i intended to wear to the interview. both got very soaked. as regards an umbrella, i dont that it would have served any purpose in that rain, my dear. whatever, it is well with us all. we can never be too wise, u know. |

no one knows the number they want. but judging by the disappearance of the peeps i left at the reception that day, i could infer that there were different interviewers in different locations. i was interviewed by a lady (brand manager) and a guy from the HR. bayleaf, who interviewed you and where? let's just hope for the best. they asked me to specific on how much i want to collect and i told them minimum of 80k. i just hope i did the right thing. |

even so, would that have made me invisible to the rain that started before 5 am and ended past 3 pm? or would i have slept at the company's gates? |

mine was yesterday. i was called for BAT interview and cos i wanted to beat time, i arrived lagos from ibadan on friday very late and got to unilag around 11pm. iwas told thaqt even if i leave unilag by 7, i would get to my venue before 9. i spent the whole nite going through this thread. cos i didnt want to fall in the same mess, i got uo early and was setting out when i saw it was raining heavily. i couldnt believe it. i waited till past seven, still the rain did not stop. so i entered. i was soaked to my d**k the suit i wore (i had never washed before) then started bleaching and stained my white shirt. i looked in the mirror and i remembered the "kogi guy" on this thread. lol. thank God i had a spare shirt (which i had used as my towel in the morning) and the suit i wore to work the day before, my interview was scheduled for 9 but as at 9.30 i just got to CMS. i was going to check for the time on my phone for time when i saw 3 missed called from them! fear catch me. then, i took a bike and set out on a journey that should have been made on a boat! the flood in VI were so, i entered the venue like a beggar. i asked the receptionist politely where the gents was and i changed my whole cloth to what i had worn the day before. yes i was looking fine but something was wrong, the AC. i shivered like i had convulsion. the more i try to control myself, the more i shook. i was going to take my time to adjust when i was called into an even colder room for my interview. men u needed to see me, my voice quivered! in fact and my jaws were snapping, i had to request that the AC be off! it was so embarrassing. although the interview went well, one cannot tell what is on the minds of the recruiters, 5 Likes 1 Share |
