Politics / Re: Coalition Of Nigeria Entertainers To Protest Against Babatunde Fowler by dynamofizzoggs: 9:42am On May 10, 2019
Amongst our current issues as a nation, it will be very sad if Nigerians believe this story about Fowler.
Bring up a good act and he will be supported; Fowler or not. Must it always be tribalistic? South South people and their sense of entitlement sha.

EFCC is doing their job and so is Babatunde Fowler. "close or far eyes on him" the man is still doing a great job.

EngrKem:
The fowler guy is part of nigeria problem. He does secret employment. Employs only his people and friends. As if it's only yoruba people that pay tax in Nigeria!! Employs some north people to look good. He is a core tribalist!
These tinubu people in apc have something bad in mind for the better south. They just unjustly and 'unqualifably" want everything to themselves.
So the niger delta that feeds the country should not v anything?
The other tribes and region should not v anything?
These people are not good oooO

oga go and work Sir...no food for lazy man. Fowler's success is glaring to Nigerians. He is not the one that decides how TAX is spent.

This post is tribalistic and very sad... why bring tribalism into this? Bring up a good act and push it forward; someone will support and back you up. why must it be the FIRS Chairman? It is so sad how entitled people from the South are because thats all i can see from this story.

TV/Movies / Re: Court Stops Multichoice From Increasing Dstv Subscription Rates by dynamofizzoggs: 1:58pm On Aug 20, 2018
PayTV is a luxury, if you cannot afford it, settle for what you can. You can either sleep in a 7 star, 5 star or 2 star hotel. Nigerians like going for what they cannot afford. Live within your means and leave DStv alone. Their customers have already made payment; im sure some paid in advance sef... If you cannot enter Uber, take Moluee!

okaynigeria:
Federal High Court sitting in Maitama, Abuja has restrained MultiChoice Nigeria from effecting its recent hike in DSTV subscription.

The company had in July increased the subscription rate for the DSTV Premium package from N14,700 to N15,800, Compact Plus from N9,900 to N10,650, Compact from N6,300 to N6,800, Family from N3,800 to N4,000, and Access from N1,900 to N2,000.

The implementation of the rates commenced on August 1.

However, ruling in a case challenging the hike in subscription on Monday, Justice Nnamdi Dimgba granted an injunction restraining MultiChoice from implementing the new rates.

Also, the court restrained the company from any conduct capable of interfering with the regulatory process of the Consumer Protection Council (CPC).

The orders were granted in Suit No: FHC/ABJ/CS/894/2018 Federal Republic of Nigeria v. MultiChoice Nigeria Limited.

Representing the Federal Government were Babatunde Irukera Esq, Abimbola Ojenike, Eme David-Ojugo, Moray Adebayo, Teniola Medupin and Florence Abebe.
