I dated a guy whose business always takes him out of the country and usually comes home twice in a year, so our communication was mostly online aside when we dated. He proposed and i agreed to marry him, and we had our traditional marriage afterwards and then he went back to his base, its over 2 years now.

During our dating days he told about a girl he was dating over there, and he needed her because she is an indigene. There are transactions he cannot do and so uses her account and connections to get it done. He usually calls her during the covid-19 period asking her about business and all that. But my concern is he also ask her if she is seeing anyone and always advise her not to mingle with anyone, which was a concern to me. When he later went back he discovered the girl has relocated to another city with all his money. He later saw her WhatsApp status showing she is now married.

He told me later he has found another girl who he is partnering with. A 22year old girl for that matter, and i told him i would like to talk with her, He refused telling me it was a bad idea. But she knows you are married, doesn't she? He said yes but still didn't give me her number, that he will need to get her permission first. He said he can give me his best friend's number if i cannot reach him. I asked him if there is anything between them and he sent me a message that he will marry there very soon if this is how i will be disturbing him.

Most times I call and he doesn't answer my call, For a whole day he will not call back or say hello. I am a very emotional person and i can call him 20 times a day. I have been alone for the past two years. I have been keeping myself and it has not been easy for me. Recently i saw a baby's picture on his DP. He is the type who changes DP almost every time but this one has stayed for long. So some of my friends inboxed me and asked me about his DP, so I had to ask him. He said the baby was his. I told him to be serious and he continued telling me the baby was his. That he had the baby four years ago and that the baby has been taken care of by a nanny. I told him he was lying because he promised me he will not do such, so he now sent me pics of him and the baby together.

He said he cannot send the baby down because the mother left and it will be difficult to convince the government that the child belong to him. I started shedding tears and i told him i hated him while we were on the call. I hung up the call afterwards. He later called and said he was joking bla bla bla. I was furious and sent him voice messages on why he was treating me like this and how is it a crime to marry him. He read all my messages but didn't reply or call me. I kept pouring messages but no response for two days. On the third day i sent a good morning message, no response. He replied telling me "i will not take any insult from you, shebi you say you hate me". He then stopped replying me. When i call he rejects my call, i kept calling until he blocked me.

I later called his best friend and told him what was going on between us. His friend laughed and told me my husband called him about his prank on me. Telling me it was all a prank. After two days i discovered he has unblocked me. I called the next day he didn't pick. I sent messages, he didn't reply any. I sent a voice note pouring my heart to him. "why is he treating me this way. And to tell that lady not to break my marriage with him and if he was tired of me he should just tell me to pack my luggage and leave". He replied with a message saying " I should go to his house and pack my things'' and then he blocked my number.

Next day I called him and when he picked he told me "he told me he is not ready for all these rubbish and that it was his fault all these was happening, if not he would have given me some hint on what I was to expect in this marriage. I replied saying that girl is the one causing all these between us and that is why she doesn't want my number. And I told him if the baby story is true i will go to any extent to find out what happened. When I told him this he blocked me again.

I reported him to his friend and he told his friend he is not going to unblock me and that any communication would henceforth come from him. And that the girl i was insulting is the person taking care of both of us and that I should keep away from him for now. That since I hate him let me stay on my own. I sent the voice note to his friend apologizing for all I said, that it was due to anger. The friend forwarded it to him. These continued for days and when he unblocked me he told me is feelings for me has dropped and he doesn't have the same appetite to talk to me. He started giving me the silent treatment. It has been a week since we talked or chatted because I have decided not to call too since he has told me his feelings for me has reduced.

I reported him to my mum. She later called him and spoke with him, telling him the prank was too expensive and he promised her he would talk to me. It is three days after my mum called him, he is yet to call me. My mum called him again but he didn't pick her calls.

The traditional marriage was two years ago. I have been alone all these while and i have never cheated on him after the traditional marriage. What did i do wrong? What should i do? Is he fed up? Was he serious about his feelings for me? His parents are late by the way.
When my dad called him, his response was "Sir, i said it out of anger, and that i have offended him so mush and that he will prove to me that he is the man who married me", "with due respect sir, your daughter will return back home to you until i am back in December, and if it is something we can talk about, we will talk".

It wasn't a quick fix. I had to be truthful to myself and admit my situation.

Marriage is a long term journey. The first few years would make one still live like they are single even though they are married. I mean doing stuffs that bachelors do, most especially keeping in touch with old female friends and exes. These are red flags.

Rather than using that time to focus on your wife, those attentions are distributed amongst those female friends. These actions diminishes your attraction to your wife because you are ending up giving her 30% attention while the rest goes to them.

I took a decision to focus only on her henceforth. Have interest in all she does. Take her out and have long conversation. Because all these actions builds that intimacy gradually. Make her attractive to you. When you want to maybe think of doing naughty things to a girl, make sure it is her face you see.

I stopped every communication with my naughty female friends and diverted everything to my wife. It took months, but day by day I saw improvement.

So my brother, the problem is mostly from we guys. Most guys refuse to take responsibility and love their wives.
