Politics / Re: Job Scam: Police Rescue 50 Stranded Foreigners In Lagos Building by Ebierensima: 3:37pm On May 10 |
Benzemma: When you become a victim of scam, I suggest to report to authorities and check with the representatives of that company. This looks like a case of some people scamming others using the name of a random company. I saw a lot of direct selling companies such as Herbalife, Max International etc have faced similar situations too. 1 Like |

My guy, the fraudsters are everywhere these days but it is easy to verify such claims.Call the company, they have shared whatsapp numbers and hotlines for the public to verify such claims. They also launched a WhatsApp Compliance Hotline (+233256630005) in September 2023 where you can report issues where people misuse QNET’s name. It serves a lot of countries including Nigeria. 2 Likes |

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Is This Employment Letter Genuine? (pics) by Ebierensima: 2:37pm On Oct 16, 2023 |
QNET is a global lifestyle and wellness focused direct selling company offering a range of products through an e-commerce platform. The company offers a business opportunity through its direct selling business model, meaning that you become resellers of the wide range of products they offer. It is a really great opportunity to own your business and be your boss, and be flexible about when you work. However, it requires a lot of hard work, as with any other business opportunity. I would advise that you first and foremost visit their website qnet.net to read more about them as that’s the most reliable place you can get any information about them. Obaofaba: |
Business / Clearing The Common Misconceptions About Direct-selling by Ebierensima: 1:57pm On Sep 14, 2023 |
Direct selling has been making the news in recent times. In spite of this, the business still receives negative reps due to misconceptions it keeps having. It's truly important to actually understand what direct selling is not and what it is. 1. Not a Pyramid Scheme: Direct selling is legal and legitimate. It's about selling quality products directly to customers, not recruitment schemes. 2. Has real Income Potential: It's not a get-rich-quick scheme, but with effort, you can earn a substantial income. 3. No Pressure Tactics to recruit to earn: Ethical direct-selling companies focus on genuine product sales, not pressuring recruits. 4. Flexible Work: It offers flexible work on your terms, whether part-time or full-time. 5. Training & Support: Reputable companies provide training and support for success. Understanding these basic points will help many people escape from being scammed into something that is in no way related to the direct selling business. 2 Likes |
Health / Benefits Of Health Supplements by Ebierensima: 5:05pm On Jun 27, 2023 |
Health supplements can be a great addition to our wellness routines, and they boost essential nutrients our bodies may need. They can also help bridge the nutritional gaps in our diets and support overall health and well-being. Vitamins, minerals, herbal extracts, or other specialized supplements can contribute to improved immune function, increased energy levels, better brain health, and enhanced physical performance. Lately, I’ve been using the Edg3 Immunity booster, which has helped boost my immune system. As someone who has dealt with low immunity her entire life, this supplement has helped me significantly bridge that health gap. Of course, it's important to remember that supplements should complement a healthy lifestyle, including a balanced diet and regular exercise. If you could use an extra nutritional boost, consider incorporating health supplements into your routine. Remember to consult a healthcare professional to determine the right supplements for your specific needs. 2 Likes |
TV/Movies / Thoughts On Naija’s Latest Hit ‘gangs Of Lagos.’ by Ebierensima: 5:24pm On May 10, 2023 |
So, Gangs of Lagos, since its release in April, has been gaining a lot of mixed reviews. While some people like the intense storyline and action scenes because it shows what really happens in Lagos, others think it's violent and unrealistic. I believe the movie is authentic and really portrays the gritty reality of how life has always been in Lagos because, at the end of the day, Eko is a jungle. What are your thoughts on the movie if you’ve seen it? 2 Likes |
Crime / Re: Nigerian Government Should Shut Down Quest International (QI) Now. SCAM by Ebierensima: 4:32pm On Mar 30, 2023 |
Guy, if I say I don’t understand what you mean I’d be lying, and your concerns are valid. But before we call for a full-on shutdown, let's take a closer look at the facts. QNET has been making public announcements across major media outlets like AIT and Channels TV more recently to clear the air and address these misunderstandings. I'm not saying that we should just blindly trust QNET. But I think their public announcements show they're willing to engage with their customers and address any concerns. So, let's give them a chance and see how things play out. If there's concrete evidence that they're engaging in illegal activities, then we can call for action. But until then, let's not rush to judgement. 4 Likes |
Jobs/Vacancies / Unemployment In Nigeria by Ebierensima: 3:37pm On Mar 24, 2023 |
As a tired Nigerian youth, the issue of unemployment in Nigeria is not just a topic, but a harsh reality that affects my daily life. Despite having a good education and skills, I struggle to find a job that matches my qualifications. The high level of unemployment has left me and many other young Nigerians feeling hopeless and frustrated. It seems like no matter how hard we try, the system is rigged against us, and opportunities are scarce. The government's efforts to address the issue have been lacklustre at best, with policies and programs that have not produced tangible results. It's time for the government to take real action and prioritise creating job opportunities for the youth. Schools should change their academic curriculum to include more subjects in entrepreneurship so that in the event of not getting a job after spending years in school, one can still survive and make a living. Until then, we will continue to be a generation stuck in a cycle of unemployment and poverty. 118 Likes 9 Shares |
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Please Help, Which Job Should I Go For by Ebierensima: 2:06pm On Mar 22, 2023 |
You can receive advice from a group of strangers, but the choice has to be taken by you in the end. I don't believe that either jobs are beneficial to you and your family. With the current economic state of Nigeria, even 100k is not enough for 2 people, much less with children. What I'd advise is that you look at both options and pick the lesser evil which looks to be your job at the school. Now, its either you fight for your salary to increase gradually, to 40k then 50k; or you actively look for another job while still having this job at the school. You can also decide to start your own business if you can, if your wife is already an entrepreneur, support her in what she does, if she doesn't try to set something up for her, that loan you took, take it to invest in a business. I pray God blesses all your efforts. 1 Like |
Politics / Re: Sanwo-olu Orders Probe Of Pupil Sent Out Of School Over Obi’s Poster by Ebierensima: 8:55am On Mar 16, 2023 |
At this point, if your house key is missing and you call Sanwo, he'll come and help you to search for it. I'm just concerned about the child sent home from school, so if this helps make sure it never happens again, I'm all for it. Yorubalandlord: |
Politics / Re: Peter Obi's Poster: Marvelous Barinaadaa's Parents Are Irresponsible - Omokri by Ebierensima: 4:52pm On Mar 15, 2023 |
This is not the first time this Reno guy has made a tweet with no sense. A lot of people think that having white hair or beard makes them wise. So tell me, what happened to democracy? What happened to our individual rights and freedom to choose who we want and like? what even happened to freedom of expression? what happened to the right to education? Every question I just asked were the rights of the child which were infringed on. Sending a child home because she used Obi's picture to wrap her book because the school belongs to APC or what? This is wrong in all shades of wrong and a very silly reason to send a child home. You cannot deny a child education because he/she supports Obi. And they are supposed to be educated teachers and authorities running the school. God forbid! Peacemaker5128: 2 Likes |
