Health / Medical Experts In Here, I Need Urgent Help On Stroke. by eddard: 7:48pm On Jan 04, 2019
My dad had stroke April last year, he was once told that his sugar level was high few months before the stroke incidence, we've been trying our best so far since April but just little improvement and this is disheartening. At first he couldn't move his right arm and leg, but now he could move them a little but its been over 8months now and this burden is giving me way too much stress as it is affecting my studies and finance as well. Money has been spent on several drugs but still very little to show for. Right now, my financial state has dwindled to a state that I can't but help to think almost every day. He himself is out of cash, as accounts has been emptied. please I need a solution out of this. Anyone to help please. Any advice on how to deal with this.

Webmasters / How Content Will Power Tomorrow’s Startups In Africa by eddard: 8:22pm On Mar 28, 2018
What determines the success of a startup is not the innovative technology they adopt, neither is it their process. Even though these factors improve the chances of success, they are not the main factors that keep a startup profitable and sustainable.

What determines the success of a startup, is how well they attract, engage and keep their target customers.

And advertising doesn’t cut it anymore, besides, most startups don’t have enough advertising budget to start with.

Startups must turn to content marketing, if they will attract, and engage a vibrant database of customers today.

What Is Content Marketing?

This is probably the most comprehensive definition of content marketing, and it’s from Content Marketing Institute – ”Content marketing is a strategic marketing approach focused on creating and distributing valuable, relevant, and consistent content to attract and retain a clearly defined audience — and, ultimately, to drive profitable customer action.”

Content marketing involves, first identifying your target audience (your target customer), and producing content such as blogs and articles, videos, emails, and graphics, that they will find both valuable and relevant, At the same time, these content must lead the target audience into purchasing the startup’s product or service.

A Practical Look At How Content Marketing Can Help Startups

A practical example is a fruit delivery business. The target customer is a working professional who doesn’t have time to find or prepare healthy meals while at work but cares about staying healthy and eating healthy.

The startup is bridging the gap between the professional and a healthy meal.

How can the startup adopt content marketing to attract, engage and win this target customer?

1. How To Attract Customers

We have identified what the target customer needs, or their pain point, as being health conscious, but not having access to healthy meals.

Articles on how to pack a quick healthy lunch box before work, or which foods to avoid, and nutritional secrets of certain fruits will capture the attention of the target customer.

Because they are health conscious, the target customer will want to get more information on how to stay healthy. So a content marketing strategy that revolves around health and nutrition will attract the target audience.

2. How To Engage Customers

It is not enough for the startup to produce these types of content, they must also ensure that they are building up a list of potential customers. Leads that will later convert to paying customers.

A simple email newsletter that updates the audience on new content will keep them engaged.

When the target audience keeps getting relevant and valuable information from your startup, the begin to trust your brand. And with trust, comes a sale.

3. How to Sell With Content Marketing.

Content marketing is not complete or effective without a sale.

So every piece of content that is produced by the fruit startup, must be linked one way or the other, to a product or service.

A Call to Action (CTA), can be included at the end, middle or beginning of every content. This CTA must link to a landing or product page where the audience can make a purchase.

With email, it’s easier to sell when you have built your email database and set aside a day to sell your products or services via email.

Webmasters / 5 Ways To Attract More Clients To Your Website/blog With Content Marketing by eddard: 4:54pm On Mar 21, 2018
Content marketing has essentially been around since the first cavemen recorded stories on cave walls with charred sticks. And content marketing was really revolutionized with the adoption of the printing press.

If you’re already publishing your own content, that’s great! If you’re not, you should seriously consider it …

1. Make it easy to navigate your content.
Making it difficult to find your content – or having no organization of your content at all – is a problem. Content that is difficult to navigate will often cause a potential client to leave your website.

But, using tags and categories is easy – and it helps with SEO. Also, don’t forget about your navigation. Making it easy for visitors to find your content starts there.

2. Create relevant content for your ideal customer.
Traffic on its own won’t help you reach your goals. Instead, you have to have qualified traffic. And creating content relative to your ideal client is essential for attracting qualified traffic.

Spend some time researching your target market and find out what type of content they’re looking for. Sometimes it’s as easy as asking your past clients questions. Just listen and they’ll tell you what’s important to them.

3. Make your content sticky.
It’s great to have your ideal clients find and read your posts, but take it one step further … always include a next step like reading a similar article or signing up for more information. Keep in mind you want them to stay on your site – reading your content – as long as possible.

4. Use clean SEO and targeted keywords for content marketing.
Your SEO and keywords make a big impact on potential clients finding your content – or not. But since Google and other search engines are consistently improving the user experience, keyword padding is a “no-no.”

Think of it this way: Search engines are helping people find relative content. Their goal is to please the user by helping them find what they’re looking for. When you use your keywords in an organic way, Google rewards you by increasing your search engine rank.

There’s no magic number for how many times you should use your keywords, but these are the best places to include them:

1. The URL.
2. Main title and H1 tags.
3. In the first paragraph – first sentence if you can.
4. Subheads (if it makes sense).
5. Image file names and the alt text.
6. Meta descriptions.

5. Make shareable content.
The most effective content is shareable content. But what makes content shareable? It all comes down to social currency. In other words: What will the reader gain from sharing your content?

Think about the types of comments, posts, and articles that you share online. What do they do?

They often back up your position on a topic, feature something you care about, or make you look smarter or more important. Here’s a short list of content that get shared most often:

Informative and helpful.
One article that’s spreading like wildfire as I’m writing this is one that informs people of the inefficiency of multitasking. This is both informative and helpful.

Disprove a common theory.
The article about the fallacies of multitasking also encompasses this idea. People like to share ideas that are contrary to popular thought.

Show that you care.
Humanitarian pieces often get shared because of the emotional heartstrings factor.

Nostalgia helps make content shareable.
If your target market grew up with high-top pump sneakers, that’s something you may be able to take advantage of in your content. Imagine this article: “High Top Pumps – A Giant Flop or a Smart Trend.”

Current events.
People share what’s happening now in the world. If you can attach your message to a major event, it’ll likely get shared more.
Webmasters / Generate A Steady Flow Of Clients: The Benefits Of Blogging For Real Estate Comp by eddard: 5:29pm On Mar 16, 2018
Tell me if this sounds great to you.

Your business is generating enough cash flow, as in, you are constantly getting new prospective customers and closing deals, and making money.

The thing is, you’re not actively attracting those customers, or closing deals, or making money. In fact, whether you’re at the gym at your country club, or at a fancy dinner trying to impress your crush, the prospects are still coming in, making purchases and giving you money.

Sounds great right?

So why not go ahead and make it happen?

The thing is, you can make all this possible with a great business blog. So it’s surprising when I find businesses not take advantage of having an updated blog section on their websites.

Take Adron Homes, for example, the company is a huge real estate business in Nigeria

However, they are not taking advantage of having a business blog for their website.

This could be because

They already have so much money and don’t want more (very unlikely, who doesn’t want more money?)
They tried blogging earlier on and it didn’t work out for them (very likely, but what they have doesn’t qualify as a blog so it was bound to fail)
They don’t know how a business blog will affect their bottom line (very very likely and that’s why I’m going to list the benefits now)

So, here is a list of why companies like Adron Homes need to set up a proper business blog, and what they will get from it.

1. INCREASE SEARCH TRAFFIC

Would you rather go search for customers or have customers search for you.

You see, when customers are searching for you, it means they are ready to buy. Which makes it a whole lot easier for you to sell.

As opposed to when you go searching for them. You may run into extremely rude people (because you are interrupting their lives with your sales message), or people that will price your property for the value of a China phone (because they don’t really want to buy in the first place).

With a business blog, you can attract those that are already searching for what you’re selling.

People who know the value of your property.

When people want to purchase a property, they make a lot of research online. They ask questions like what’s the difference between a C of O and Governor’s Consent, and what documents they should look out for when buying land.

If Adron Homes were to answer these questions via their business blog, imagine the amount of qualified traffic they will get. And the traffic can easily turn into customers because they already have an interest in purchasing properties.

Webmasters / The Code Of Content For Beverage Brands Like Wilson’s Lemonade by eddard: 8:59am On Mar 14, 2018
As a business owner, your goal is to make sure that when your ideal customer goes out to purchase what you sell, that the customer will remember your business and choose your brand every time.

And a lot of work goes into that one moment where the customer makes his/her choice in the marketplace. Businesses spend millions on advertising, promotion and marketing campaigns to ensure that their customers remember their name and choose their brand.

Today, there are more engaging and effective ways to keep your brand in the minds of your customers and compel your customers to choose your brand when they need your product.

Here are the new ways to increase your brand recall and increase your brand engagement with your target audience We’ll be looking at how beverage companies, specifically Wilson’s Juice, and how they can leverage these new methods of brand engagement.

Produce Content That Focuses On Your Customers And Aligns With Your Brand Promise

To engage customers today, to even manage to get their attention, you need to give them what they value and what they’re looking for. And that does not include bombarding their screens with adverts that focus on your brand and your product.

Take Red Bull, for example, the company’s target market is young people that need the extra energy boost to engage in different high-energy activities like sports. The company’s entire content marketing strategy now revolves, not on the drink, but on the activities their target market engages in – sports.

Wilson’s Lemonade can learn from Red Bull’s strategy, and produce content that focuses on their target customers, yet aligns with their brand promise.

Supposing Wilson’s brand promise is ”natural sweetness for your body” or ”when life gives you lemons…”, then their content should revolve around those promises.

For example, if the promise is natural sweetness for your body, then the content should focus on providing their customers with other natural ways they can enhance their bodies and live healthier lives. Wilson’s Lemonade can set up a blog that focuses on food and nutrition and natural remedies to common body ailments.

Or if the promise is when life gives you lemons…, then the content should revolve around productivity hacks, motivational stories and inspiring content.

Both content approaches will not only attract more customers to the brand, Wilson’s customers will also feel more positive about the juice and go for the juice every time they need a drink.

Video Content For Social Media

Social media is a very important channel to attract and engage customers today.

However, it’s becoming harder for brands to engage their audience on social networks (especially Facebook), due to the massive amount of content being produced and shared, and (especially Facebook) the ever-changing algorithms.

Today, the top social networks (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn), all favour video content above other content types.

Wilson’s Juice (even though they have already begun) should incorporate more video content in its social media marketing.

See the above point for the type of video content a beverage brand like Wilson’s Juice should produce.

Create Conversations On Social Networks

Many brands are spending more time producing content for social networks, and getting little or nothing tangible to show for it.

The mistake is usually from the fact that they are not playing by the rules of social networks. Brands are using social networks as a selling channel, instead of a communication channel.

Brands ought to move away from selling on social networks, and conversing with their audience on social networks.

Recently, we talked about why your brand should pivot to Facebook groups. The reason why is because you can increase your organic reach with Facebook groups as opposed to Facebook pages, and also create meaningful conversations with your customers.

Wilson’s Juice can create new Facebook groups on Natural Sweetness for the Body, or When Live Gives You Lemons…, and start having meaningful conversations with their customers. A community like this will birth loyal customers and ambassadors for the brand.

In Conclusion

The key to engaging your audience online is to provide value in the form of content that your target cares about, and tie that content to your brand and product.

Here is where we promote our business. If you need help producing content such as articles, videos and manage your social media community, hit us up here at http://oratorconsult.org/
Webmasters / How Smile Can Use Stories To Get More Customers by eddard: 5:46pm On Mar 13, 2018
Have you noticed that Smile, the ISP, doesn’t seem to have any content?

Content that engages customers on social media, and attracts new customers. Content like interesting articles or videos and not just new offer announcements and products.

Maybe the approach of advertising product after product and offer after offer seems to be working for them, but an engaging content marketing strategy will work better.

Here’s what I mean. with engaging content, more customers (including prospective customers) will stick around on their website and social media channels.

With engaging content, their current customers and followers can easily share their content (and brand) with friends (and new customers), thereby increasing their following (and revenue).

You see where I’m going with this? I am less likely to share a new ”Bumper Data Deal” with a friend (except the data deal is a free deal cheesy), but more likely to share a story that inspires me, that Smile produced.

So, if Smile decides to try something new with their online marketing, here’s what I recommend.

Develop A Content Marketing Plan

Before you start writing articles and producing videos for your brand, it’s best that you have a documented content marketing strategy in place first.

Your content marketing strategy should answer the following questions

1. Who do you want to reach?
2. What does your audience want and value?
3. Where can you find your audience?
4. What is your value proposition to your audience?
5. What type of content will you produce?
6. How will you link your content to your product?

For smile, the answers to the above questions could be

Working professionals
To get their jobs done and to succeed in their careers
Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Youtube, The ORT Newsletter
Fast internet to help you do your job, so you can smile
We’ll talk about this later
We’ll talk about this later

Now, this is a summarized version of a content marketing strategy. You can use the above template to create your own content marketing strategy, in the simplest form.

Let’s talk about the content to produce and how to link it to your product.

Business / The 3 Phases Of Customer Engagement At Your Event by eddard: 4:29pm On Mar 13, 2018
There is nothing like in-person interactions. Even in marketing, your customers tend to remember a face to face meeting more than an email you send or a call you make. That’s why events provide such high returns on investments and impacts business relationships.

In order for you to get the best results from corporate events, and attract your ideal customers, you need to engage your audience in these 3 phases

Pre-Event Engagement:

The weeks and days leading up to your event are critical. They determine how many of your ideal customers will actually show up to your event and if they will be engaged with your brand at the event. One tip you can use to attract your ideal customers before your event is using branded social media campaign. This means creating an official hashtag for the event on Twitter, creating a different event page on Facebook, or building a community on LinkedIn for your event. There, you can provide exclusive content to your followers like event speakers, event set-up and behind the scenes of event planning.

During The Event:

You need to go the extra mile at the event proper to engage your customers. Do something innovative at your event like setting up the Magic Mirror at your event. The content of your event must also be focused on your ideal customer and you should always encourage their participation throughout the event.

Follow Up:

All your efforts will be for nothing if you fail to follow up with the leads you have generated from your events. Ensure you continue communication with your event attendees via social media and email campaigns.

By optimizing the above phases, you’re definitely going to get the best results from every event you organize and get complete customer engagement.

Events / 5 Critical Questions To Ask Your Corporate Event Planner by eddard: 8:18pm On Mar 12, 2018
Organizing corporate events has a ton of benefits for your business. From generating business leads to establishing leadership in your industry, it makes sense for your business to host a corporate event like conferences or networking events for your clients.

However, your business may not have the resources in-house to pull off a great show. That’s where a corporate event planner comes in. You need to be careful when hiring an event planner, though, you don’t want to be disadvantaged in the transaction.

Here are 5 critical questions you need to ask your corporate event planner to ensure a profitable relationship for both parties.

1. Budgeting: You need to be sure what the event planner’s fees will cover. Will it cover logistics, support staff at the event, vendors and any other services they offer? This is to ensure that there are no surprise costs later on.

2. Planning Process: How long will the planning process take? How involved will your business be in the planning process? What will your business be responsible for during the planning process?

3. Contingency Plans: A great event planner should have a plan B if Plan A fails. You should know what plans are in place if anything goes wrong.

4. Marketing and Engagement: Will the event planner be involved in the promotion of the event? And how will event guests be engaged at the event? What games, contests or event engagement plans are in place?

5. Expertise: You need to ask your event planner which events they have organized, how they planned their previous events, the challenges they faced and how they managed them and how satisfied their previous clients are.

Business / Product Activations: 3 Powerful and Effective Ways To Do It Right by eddard: 4:10pm On Mar 12, 2018
Building a formidable customer-brand engagement circle is the biggest secret of the world’s most successful brands. When customers feel a personal/emotional connection with your brand and products, you will get constant valuable feedback and increased patronage without hurting your profit margin with heavy marketing costs.

Successful business owners have the ability to engage customers, glue them to their products and increase profit at a super-fast rate. They engage in a continuous loop of product activations! If you want your brand to join the big league, follow these simple tricks for product activations:

1. Organise or be part of an experiential marketing event.

This unique brand of marketing event gives consumers the opportunity to try your products, ask questions about it and give feedback on the spot. With the aid of a professional photo booth, personalized photos, exciting games/props, and bonus packages for every item bought, your sales will dramatically increase.

Potential customers are also guaranteed to leave your booth with a great impression of your brand which opens them further to the possibility of doing business with you in future. The potential for generating marketing leads from experiential marketing events is another reason it’s our number 1 trick!

Remember, people are more inclined to give you their contact details willingly when they are having fun.

2. Have an in-store retail marketing point.

If your business is located in a shopping mall, please get rid of the drab look and enhance the image of your product(s) by featuring it’s benefits or introducing the lifestyle associated with purchasing the product using point of purchase displays, attractive design and retail product launch experiences that allow customers to experience your products in an engrossing atmosphere.

This will help your brand stand out among your competitors and introduce your brand as the go-to brand in the minds of customers and potential customers. It is a cheaper alternative but also very effective.

3. Use Hashtag Activations

Leverage the power of social media to exponentially increase your product’s reach through the #hashtag activation at little or no cost. It’s the digital age so it pays to stay informed of social media trends that affect the business community and engage with your customers using a hashtag. Monitor the hashtag, keep the conversation about your products going and watch your brand soar to unimaginable heights.

To create an engaging and memorable product activation experience that will connect your brand to your customers and promote customer loyalty, simply call 08060903561 or send an email to photogenic@didostudios.com today.
Events / 5 Things Your Prom Party Must Have by eddard: 3:58pm On Mar 12, 2018
Many of us would love a chance to edit our past wouldn’t we? Well, I am one of such people and one of the few parts of my life I would love to edit if given the chance is my High School prom because it could have been spectacular if the organisers knew what I know now. If I could edit that moment in history and have a superb Prom party, here is how I would want them to plan it:

Hire a Photo booth. Don’t get me wrong, I have pretty good pictures of my prom night but they are traditional and boring. No silly faces with my friends, no props that displayed our individual personalities and quirks. Now, with the help of PhotoGenic photo booth, friends can show their love for each other by making each picture memorable in a creative way.

Have customised neon-signed photo moments captured during the event stored on a CD, USB or even saved online to be viewed at my leisure or to share with friends on FaceBook/Instagram . The pictures would have been enlarged and printed for wall photo art. That would have been super cute and a perfect souvenir right?

Incorporate lots of colour into the theme. Wouldn’t it have been so much fun if colours were incorporated into the theme not just plain black and white? Imagine a prom night that has the PhotoGenic green screen effect: high-end studio lighting and real-time digital image manipulation that transposes guests to any destination of their choice? Superb!

Get The Photo GuestBook Album. This is Year Book 2.0. It combines warm words from people who love you with special photo moments to cherish forever. This is the ultimate PhotoGenic experience at any prom.

Book the PhotoGenic Lounge so that my friends and I can pose for pictures in the programmable multi-colour semi-enclosed spiral booth, while sipping on cool lemonade and relaxing like true celebrities. The best part? Sharing these pictures with our friends in other schools on the spot via Facebook/Instagram/Twitter using the PhotoGenic Ipad Social Sharing Stations.

Although I cannot rewind time and have the prom of my dreams, my colleagues and I can help you plan the most memorable prom night whether you are a student, a loving parent or a school principal. Simply call 08060903561 or send an email to photogenic@didostudios.com and experience the PhotoGenic magic today.

Events / Get A Memorable Wedding With The Best Photobooth. by eddard: 12:45pm On Mar 09, 2018
“Photogenic photo booth was a hit at the wedding and everyone had so much fun, including my dad…The pics look great and so does the photo guest book…Thanks very much.” – JAIYEOLA(Bride)

19th of April 2014, Jaiyeola fell in love with the PhotoGenic PhotoBooth Experience at a friend’s wedding. Almost 6 months later, 11th of October 2014, Jaiyeola and Olamide tied the knot at the famous Jogor event center in Ibadan and she made sure PhotoGenic PhotoBooth was there to entertain and wow her friends and family. But she wanted the Experience on her Big Day to be uniquely hers so we gladly said YES and made her dream a reality.

She wanted the photo template specially desinged for her wedding theme
Absolutely! Jaiye, our bride, wanted an emerald green and yellow themed photo design to match her wedding colors. TJ, our in-house graphics artist, designed 3 different samples so she could pick her favorite. After the bride-to-be picked her favorite, TJ then worked with her over the next 3 days to perfect that design Just for her.

She requested Instagram Posting directly from Photo Booth
Jaiye asked for Instagram Posting from our Social Media Station because most of her friends had moved on from FaceBook to Instagram. We said YES! Using their hashtag (#JaiyeOlamide2014) and our exclusive social media technologies, we enabled guests to instantly post their photo booth pics directly to Instagram. They loved it!

Webmasters / 5 Ways You Can Increase Traffic To Your Business Blog by eddard: 6:52pm On Mar 04, 2018
What’s the purpose of your business website? To get potential customers to learn about your brand and what your business offers right? Designing a great website with the right information about your business is one thing, and getting traffic from potential customers to visit your website is another.

A corporate blog solves the problem of driving traffic to your website and educating potential customers of what your business offers. In fact, 61% of consumers purchase decisions have been influenced by blog posts. However, it is not sufficient to just post a blog on your website and hope visitors will start trooping in. You have to actively promote your blog posts to your desired audience to generate the right leads for your business.

Here are 5 ways you can promote your corporate blog posts to generate business leads.

1.Post To LinkedIn Groups: LinkedIn Groups is a platform for you to discover and connect with industry peers by facilitating discussions around an interest. This feature is not only great for learning and networking, it is also great for promoting your brand by posting your blogs.

How you can do it

Search for groups relevant to your business by searching on the search bar
Join groups relevant to your business
Update your status with your blog link
Click share
Post to your linkedIn groups

2.Guest Post on Relevant Sites: Posting your blogs on relevant websites in your industry will help you 1) reach a wider audience,2)increase links back to your website, 3)increase your thought leadership and 4) expose your business to new business opportunities.

How to do it

Identify other blogs that have an established audience with your target market. For example, if you are targeting businesses, sites like CnnectNigeria.com already have an established audience of business owners and professionals
Write to their editorial team and share your blog links. Most of these websites appreciate and welcome guest posts as long as it is valuable to their audience
Make sure you include a link back to your website. You can do this in the About Author section at the end of your blog

3.Use SEO-Friendly Titles: How many of you start your web journey by searching on search engines like Google? A study revealed that 81% of shoppers conduct online research before they purchase any product or service. Now the question is, will your website be found on search engine result pages when your potential customers search for keywords relevant to your business? Using keywords that will rank your website on the first page of Google result pages is critical to increasing traffic to your website.

Joost De Valk, Founder of Yoast said ‘’Writing awesome content is nice, but not doing proper keyword research upfront is probably the most common mistake I see.’

How to do it

Use Google’s Keyword Planner tool to search for keywords that will rank high on Google
Use the keywords to craft your blog title

4.News Jack: Who remembers Oga At The Top? That story was so popular even till date that the hrase ‘’my oga at the top’’ is now commonly used in everyday communication. In my experience in writing and content management, I saw that blogs related to that story generated so much traffic and exposure. When ‘’I Don Port O’’ was still trending, this post about Saka generated so much traffic. ‘’Its easier to get bloggers and journalists to write or share information containing an interesting new angle on something that was already at the top of their mind” Larry Kim, Founder of Wordsream

How to do it

Find interesting trends and news
Spin a blog out of the news to fit your audience and business

5.Incorporate Your Posts to Your Email Newsletter: Sending your blogs via an email newsletter will help you get personal with your audience and increase your bond with them. If you do a great job, your audience will not only expect, but also anticipate your emails and blog posts.
