Politics / Re: Agba Jalingo: Ben Ayade Claims Detained Journalist Tried To Overthrow Buhari by edeteffiong957: 8:07pm On Jan 29, 2020
Any dog that is to be killed must be given a bad name. Agba alleged that N500m meant for the floating of the State Micro Finance Bank was diverted. The ideal way to defend this is to let the world knows where the Bank is situated and the progress she is making to bring the people out of poverty. Twisting to treason to quiet the whistle blower is quite childish. What we know is that, 8yrs is not forever and that wherever truth is buried, it will dig itself out one day.
Politics / Re: Buhari To Flag Off G-Money In Cross River by edeteffiong957: 11:26am On Jan 28, 2020
I sympathize with Cross River State regarding the number of project and programs her Govt embarks on but yet the implementation and functionality of them remain a story. Airport Project in Obudu, Flyover in Odukpani Junction, Banana Plantation in Odukpani, Super Highway, Bakassi Deep Seaport, Calavegas, the list is quite long, I'm saddened by what I see, may God bestow His mercy.

Why will the millions bothered when they know that the leadership of the country will never consider the yearnings' of the people, Nigerians expects nothing good from the government that is why they don't look at what the government is doing. They have a head who does not obey court orders but want the people to: Have N.A Members that does not see anything wrong in the President undermining the Court decisions, the people will mind their businesses and allow God to judge the leadership of the country.

Charlie Boy competed with Fela in smoking weed and uses his father's wealth to cure himself of the negative issues that he failed to let the world knows that arises from this habit. How many youths in Nigeria can live the luxurious life style he is living. Nigerian youths should wise up and x-ray what their supposed role models are doing before they copy their life styles for some of them are not worth following. Can you afford the bailed conditions if you are arrested by drugs law enforcement agencies? Can you pay for the treatment you deserves as a consequence etc, pls be wise.

Lawlessness every where, having the support of the man with our collective mandate, one can interpret the constitution anyhow. Those that supposed to maintain peace and order are engaging in a senseless fight to the detriment of the masses. If at 70 plus the leader of the people those not think of retirement, why do we think the ones playing their script will retire, they die there. The group that is the dearest and most loyal to the empire will carry the day, watch out!

The result of sponsoring research not thuggery, banditry, kidnapping, hooliganism, cultism, insurgency is what we have here. The best brains are supported in advance climes to make exploits but decades after independent, Nigeria is still on "he is not a fulani, she is not a Yoruba, his father was not from Ijaw", so he can never be supported. Hmmmm, bye bye to oil will teach us lesson though I know, Nigerian leaders are not ready to learn.

The story is not about Udom or PDP but ICPC and Akpabio. A contract that 70% of the total sum have been paid why are you keeping the equipment till you obtain the balance. If it were to be road construction contract, won't you put the 70% and work while waiting for the balance. However, as a contractor, don't you use your money to work before the government pays back? Contractor and the Principal pls face ICPC, we are watching.

Okay, I can see what Ben Ayade (Governor of Cross River State) is trying to imitate. So when he sees them in motorcade he says "I'll increase my own as soon as I get home. My own must be the latest too. In fact, it must be super digital. At least the type that must jet over the deep sea port I'll be commissioning in 2060 and the type that will cruise in the super highway I'll commission in 2050 just 15mins from Bakassi to Obanliku. Supra-digital Machines

It's obvious that with this administration, Cross River remain a failed State. To say there is a banana industry in Odukpani LGA blows my mind tremendously. The proclamation of intellectual money to finance projects is indeed a child's play. The MoUs which the administration went around the world spending tax payers money to signed in the past four years what are the outcome? To blame federal government agencies for anything is to open up the administration's lack of following due process in embarking on ventures to the world. If the needful was done, the blockade would have been noticed and dealt with. The super highway suffered the same ordeal, Incompetency is the trademark of this administration, it's a pity to continue this way in the years to come.

Table payment always reveals ghost workers, dead staff and incapacitated ones. If the State is out to sanitize the judiciary payroll, issues should not rise up, all hands must be on deck to achieve the most for the people.
Politics / Re: Threat To Shut Down Imo Before Okorocha’s Exit Thickens by edeteffiong957: 9:15am On May 13, 2019
Local government in Nigeria is like a towel to the State Governors and State Assembly Members, they use it to wipe their hands once they finished washing. The plight of this tier of government will persist until true democrats who will be selfless assumes the leadership of the various State Assemblies and support the amendment of the constitution (with 2/3 majority of the State Assemblies) to grant autonomy to the Local Government in the Country.
