They prove thier quality by upwards progression, continous consistent top Quality performances in thier club and league . Then in comparison to other players the best is selected or a number of players selected. That's the only transparent and equitable system for player selection. There is nothing like grooming you can take a keen interest but you can not groom.

On the basis of performances players are Invited to camp they train, play games and from that the best is selected, it's a then a fair and level playing field.

In football the deciding component of your PROGRESSION is not necessarily ability but OPPORTUNITY. This is the most important thing that will decide your career OPPORTUNITY.

So when a player is given opportunity in some regards others are denied Opportunity. That denial can be calculated in the negative as intended to deny certain unfavoured players opportunity who possibly could be better or as good as but we will never know.

Iwobi is not yet mature to control a game from the midfield.

This is why Ogu is important to this team. His calmness,physical presence and ability to play short passes will be needed in the course of the AFCON.

On Iheanacho, it's his free-kick ability that keeps him in this team.

Onyekuru won't get you goals as a 9, Faith Terim(Galatasaray) and Van(Anderlecht) have tried it but ended up losing to their opponents.
