It happened on Monday, the 26th of April, 2021.
Final year students of Biochemistry, in the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, could not have their classes as a result of power outage (they were supposed to use a projector).
Some non-academic staffs at the department would go on to make derogatory comments about the students not doing anything for the department since the inception of their studies in the school.
For this reason, their class reps have mandated the students to pay a certain sum of money, to buy a generator for the department.
