House, let’s be careful with our applications. Efforts must be made to ensure it tally with IRCC requirements or interpretations if you like.

Congrats to all PPR recipients and ITA clinchers.

While for those still expecting ITA, just keep hope alive as I see God coming through for us before the year ends.
The next draw will likely be between Monday 26th - Thursday 29th November, 2018. While the last two draws for the year will be in December, bringing the cumulative draws left to three all things being equal.
Judging from the pictorial evidence below, I see one of the three draws left for the year dropping below 440, based on the part marked good sign had been cleared by the last draw.
Therefore, the part marked half will be taken care of by the next draw most likely and the part marked asterisk and underlined might happen all things being equal. So let’s keep hopes alive.

Mind you my projections are predicted on the statistics from IRCC below.
Warning: IRCC still remains unpredictable guys as they call the final shot in this PR hustle.
It shall end in PRAISE in Falz the badh guy voice.
Nice weekend.

Baba/egbon,
IMO it’s a rookie move indeed.
You have awaited this long, don’t use your hand cause trouble to yourself and by yourself.
If you land ITA with that, can your sister provide the necessary needed documents? E.g PR card, utility bill etc.
If no Baba chill out and wait for the right time to avoid story.

Topsmamen:
Hi guys. So my sister, @dumprep lands on December 10. I intend to edit my EE profile to include her the same day she lands as the sibling points would increase my score from 427 to 442. Right or rookie move?

As I wouldn't want a draw to pass me by in December. Thanks.

My dear, I feel your pains as this is really painful taking a step backwards instead of forward.
Don’t despair just stay focus as God works in a mysterious ways. I think it better to decline and let spouse give IELTS his all, knowing well that you loose 5 points in two weeks. The good thing is that if he scores 6666 according to you, your scores can land you next ITA. So move all your family attention to the next IELTS and give spouse all the necessary supports he needs to surmount this hurdle. As you shall soon come celebrating your new ITA, for delay is not denial.

laghopeful20181:

yes, received ita in september. was about to submit today when i realised ielts expired 3rd of November. Declined ITA now. Back in the pool. He will do ielts on 1st December. Meanwhile our police certificates will expire 7th december so we will need to redo them too and i will loose 5 points in 2 weeks because of a change in my age

God knows best.

I advise they both calm down. I did the exact thing they did and I am not fazed. The day I first learnt of my result and date on TRF are not the same jare. This is a long and difficult journey, they need each other more than ever.

Besides, you can change without issues before ITA or write a letter of explanation to accompany your final submission. I didnt even add letter of explanation to mine; they have my TRF number already, they should just confirm themselves. As long as my test score are same and difference is just a day or two between the two dates declared. I am sure theirs is not the first case of this they have seen.

Abeg comfort them that this is a non issue; can be explained easily with LOE. I am in the same boat with them.

They should also remember that Canada needs them as much as they need Canada. By the time I land, they too will realize they got lucky with me just as I did with them; na better person I be grin

I guess I will quickly relay this your soothing reply to end the Cold War predicated on anxiety.

This their fear is too much o. There's no cause for alarm yet. Since ITA hasn't arrived, they can change the details in their profile as many times as possible without being penalized. Tell them to change the date to the correct one and gently await their ITA. Change log is only generated for changes made after ITA is received.

Give them your highest assurances that all is well. I don't want to hear that there's still a cold battle in that house. God bless them both for this their level of commitment to a common cause.

Hang in there sister, for God is bigger than our problems. The last loss you suffered is the last you will ever suffer before you and your family land in your new home. Stay firm with an unwavering faith as your PPR testimony is closer than you think, for God will use this setback as a setup for your comeback. Relax and be still for it is well!

cutieplum:
A very silent reader with a testimony; not PPR though.
I honestly want to thank God for his faithfulness in my family's life today. It's really true that when your hour of decoration is very close, the devil will try in diverse ways to cut your joy. I've been on this journey for years, don't even want to go into those intricate details till my full announcement is complete. For sure I'd give our PPR Professor a run for his money. cheesy So this morning, at about 4am, while we were still asleep my husband suddenly woke up and opened the window, and behold all we saw was a reflection of an inferno from the Generator house! Immediately we started hearing Neighbour's exclaiming 'Fire! Fire oooo!!!' As I looked out of my window, behold the whole generator house was in thick flames. I froze at the sight and my husband raced downstairs with his nephew with a full pack of detergent and buckets to get water downstairs. When the fire was eventually put off, it was traced to the 'I beta pass my generator' that we had bought last year to save us the cost of fuelling our big generator which was rather too expensive to use all night while we slept. Moreso, this was one out of the austerity measures we had taken in the orhustle to secure POF. To make matters worse, the generator that caused this incident was on till about 4am as I recall that was the time that the light went off in my house, but it was shortly after that we started hearing the screams from Neighbours. So it then implies that this ill-fated generator was giving light to my house while it was burning! I still can't comprehend this even as I write this. We did loose our big generator and 2 others belonging to my neighbours. I'm I sad? Yes I am cos my hubby's mood at home nor be here! This is so not the time to acquire properties as we have even earmarked the ones we have for sale as soon as we get our PPR by God's grace. Will I continue to grieve? NO, God forbid that! No life was lost and God knows why this is coming now. I still don't know my fate with my neighbour's whose generators were burnt beyond recognition as I speak. But what I know is that this country has so failed it's citizens. Imagine me paying 13k monthly for NEPA and still have to worry about generating my own light, and yet some folks still try to argue Canada versus Naija. It is well o! I've prayed to God and told Him to use today's incident as a catalyst to grant us a speedy PPR in no distant time and I know IT IS DONE.I honestly do feel better now. Sorry guys for this long epistle, it wasn't the initial plan. I may not be able to reply comments ASAP as my phone battery is almost out too. 'There's no hope of getting a new generator' is the stern warning I keep getting from hubby. *sighs* see you all at 7pm when NEPA would give me light to charge my phone.
It will surely end in praise!

Still on this issue my people, my friend said her hubby already filled 8th November as trf test date for 27th October MOD test before she asked me which I relayed here and I got the right response.

She has gone to effect the change to 7th November. She wants to find out;
1. Will this affect her transmitted application prior to ITA?
2. If yes can she withdraw her application now and fill in another one as she is sure of getting ITA?
3. What is the effect of revoking Gsckey account? Because she and her hubby are accusing themselves of taking actions that might lead to misrepresentation. There’s Cold War between them as each is saying they won’t forgive the other if his/her actions cause them to stay in Naija for another 5yrs due to ban.
Make una help with advice so this Cold War can be put off.

Please for those that wrote with MOD on 27th October and have collected their test report form, please what result date is on it? I suspect it should be 8th November the 12th day based on past trend, but my friend is not comfortable with guessing because of misrepresentation fears and wants to enter the pool asap ahead of Monday.
Please any precise info for those(MOD) that collected yesterday? Input will be highly appreciated.

You need to submit language test results that are less than two years old for all programs under Express Entry, even if English or French is your first language.

Eya kpele! You just need to find time to visit the school yourself so that you can tighten up loose ends. Again, find out if your department needs dues to be paid else no one will attend to your request. Spouse went through the experience too and ECA is delivered already.

No announcement of IELTS result from yesterday’s release? This is strange here, well may God meet our IELTS expectations asap.

Today’s writing task two question: Some people think it is important to spend a lot of money on wedding celebration. Others disagree.

Discuss both views and give your opinion.

May today’s IELTS favor all those that sat for it; amen.

Evening everyone. Pls I need your help. My family and I received PPR this morn(thank God) and the email says we are to send our passports within 15days of receipt of the email. The issue now is that we can't submit our passports now because we are leaving Nigeria for Sydney on the 16th of October, 2018 to arrive Sydney on the 18th. My question is how do I navigate around this. Is it possible to submit the passports at VFS global in Sydney or I have to courier the passports to VFS global in Nigeria. Ur prompt response in this regard will be highly appreciated.

IMO, kindly do them a mail and explain your situation as explained above, requesting for approval to submit your passport in Sydney, provided you will will be staying in Sydney up to 2-4weeks, so that you won’t be under pressure of no passport to return when you are billed to return to base. Else, just request for time extension that will accommodate your return back to Nigeria for submission.
Others can weigh in.
Enjoy.

Is it bad to ask questions? I for one hate it when people tell others to go read from page 1. If you can't answer their questions, simply ignore. If you can and you think the question has been answered some pages before you can do well to look it up and then answer with a link to that page. Imagine being on page 389 and dwelling on page 1 info. Things change sometimes and we all know that. Plus people are busy with other things in life too, not just Canadian immigration.

Chai!!!!!!!!! Is this your comment for real or you are just kidding?
You don’t want to be referred to a secret goldmine of information; that is so sad. Humble yourself and go to page 1 for your own good. Hate or dislike page 1, then you are not keen on this journey yet, as you are either ear dropping here or just spying here. As page 1, certainly have the information you seek and even beyond what you seek.
Humility and patience are both essential virtues we all must learn on this journey, either directly or indirectly.
Enjoy your busy schedule outside Canada immigration and also allow others to enjoy theirs too, as no one is paid here to provide answers to anybody’s questions.
Goodluck to you.
