@ odeku

greed is human,it is just dat in naija we dont have an formidable opposition to check the ruling party.

@otokx

Politics / Re: 2003 Ak 47,2007: Bombs.? by egenash: 2:13pm On Aug 02, 2006
cool man, u know we cant rely on these politicians 2 do their job. i think change (economic which the most important change we need now) is going to be organic and it might not affect the common man but people like u & me might b able to position ourselves in a way 2 benefit from whatever little improvements that are made. tekitizi there are so many entities with interests in nigeria, so they will make sure that we have relative peace and stability
Career / Re: Acca by egenash: 1:23pm On Jul 31, 2006
it is okay if u can register on ur own. if u can get the cash to them and of course it will b cheaper as long as there are no extra charges, i sent my docs thru nipost(registered @ about =N=500 and it got 2 them in good time). i am considering writing 2.1 in addition to the stage 1 courses. i will make my inquiry and get back 2 u.

yusuf1420:

egenash,
please can u give me how much it will cost to ve a tuition & the necessary materials for stage 1.
@ yusuf1420
tutorials at SWOT cost =N=15,000 for one course, =N=25,000 for two courses and =N=30,000 for 3 courses also a =N=2,000 registration fee. but if u can grab stuff quickly and don't have cash 2 throw around, i suggest that u buy the books published by Kaplan Publishing and where u have problems u can seek help. i recomend buying the books published by Kaplan Publishing as they are very direct, then also u have past questions and answers on their website. once again if u need any more help please don't hesitate.

take a good look at our ruling class and ask urself which one of them is politically responsible. politics is a dirty game allover the world but in nigeria it has become more complicated cos of d 4th dimension added to it. to become a political heavy weight in nigeria u must put ur hands into alot of shit, cos ur opponents also are some very desperate men. u hear of them swearing at shrines, rituals for protection, belonging to secret societies all in a bid to be powerful. look at the few responsible nigerians who ventured into politics, they either joined the band wagon or left the scene entirely.

naijaflyer:

I understand the pain a lot of you feel. The late Engr. Funso and I sat beside each other on a commercial flight from Abuja to Lagos last week and had a very stimulating discussion. We promised to keep in touch, only for this to happen. He was such a gentle-man and sometimes I wondered what he was doing in politics, especially trying to govern a volatile state like Lagos. Even within PDP, he had Adeseye Ogunlewe, Ganiyu Olarenwaju Solomon (GOS) and Musiliu Obanikoro to contend with. Men that try to give the impression of being urbane, when they are actually more vicious than the next man. But like we all know, such is the futility of life, and we shall all return to Allah, though we know neither when, nor where, nor how.
However, my advice to those who allow their emotions get the better of them is this, no amount of violence/revolution would bring about a cure for the Nation's ills. It has to start f with a determination from all of us to ensure that those who get to office are people whose abilities and pedigree are not in doubt/can be trusted. We can draw inspiration from how the people of Kano and Lagos states resisted the PDP onslaught of 2003.
Let's keep watching and doing our little bit where we can, because the build-up would get bloodier in the days ahead.

@naijaflyer i can't help but agree with u, i hope we get 2 dat point where the electorate actually determines who rules this country.

Mariory:

And of what use are u to the human race? What have you done that makes you so special as to continue living while others should die.

@ mariory u 2 dey attack me the other time u ask me my age, na wa oh wetin i do u, u dey talk like say u no dey naija dey c d nonsence wey all these politicians dey do, all of them na d same. mayb i am not making any contribution 2 humanity, mayb i am not special to continue living, but it breaks my heart when i c my people suffering unnecessarily in this my beloved and blessed country. no beef man but i think d man got what he deserves. i always try 2 know the consequence of my actions and if i get caught up by the consequence i accept it in good faith. we all know what nigerian politics is all about.
Politics / Re: Funsho Williams, PDP Lagos State Governor-to-be, Killed! by egenash: 11:36am On Jul 28, 2006
these guys dont have feelings, they embezzle billions of dollars. do you know how many lives that money could have saved. it is unfortunate but in this world i grew up in not just in nigeria people die, people die for something people die for nothing. these so called ruling class (elite) in nigeria are screwing us in d as with no vaseline. i cant feel sory 4 dem i even think alot more need to be killed. there has been so much injustice in this country. can u count the no. of ordinary men that die e/day as a result of hardship. so pls dont give that human life shit. we need a mass slaughter of the ghana must go politicians we have now. and no it is not about human life it is about politics because if he was content with what he had he would still b alive. no responsible man will b involved in nigerian politics of 2day.
Politics / Re: Funsho Williams, PDP Lagos State Governor-to-be, Killed! by egenash: 11:09am On Jul 28, 2006
i don't feel sorry for slain politicians, they are all bad men who are seeking to enrich themselves. i think they are getting what they deserve. who knows how many people have died as a result of his actions both direct and indirect. they should keep on killing themselves and make way for more responsible leaders. PDP is one of the greatest problems nigeria has now. the dearth of PDP will definitely b good for nigeria, they are too powerful, too wicked and too selfish to mention a few.

Foreign Affairs / Re: Israel vs Hezbollah/Lebanon by egenash: 9:51am On Jul 27, 2006
look on the bright side, conflict in the middle east higher oil prices, foreign investors see the need to look for new oil elsewhere like nigeria etc. the bible will tell u alot about d middle east, i hear when we have peace in the middle east the world is coming 2 an end, and i definitely not ready 4 d end of d world. so i think d conflict is ok (they are very much used 2 it) as long as they don't throw nukes.
Politics / Re: How Would You Rate Kofi Annan's Job Performance? by egenash: 3:04pm On Jul 26, 2006

my view is that the isreali's are over reacting but then that is my view. at the end of the day it is all politics and only those involved actually know what is going on, i don't think the press can tell u everyrhing.

for stage 1 u have business accounting 1 & 2 by f. wood & sangster for 1.1, cost & mgt acct by colin drury, various organisational mgt books are available for 1.3. beyond stage 1 it is like u have to buy books published by Kaplan Publishing , but i recommend that u use those published by Kaplan Publishing Foulks Lynch though they are more expensive about =N=5,800 per paper but they are focused on the acca exams and would enable to concentrate on necessary stuff. i am a stage 1 student for december.also their student magazine are very important. if u need any more help pls dont hesitate.

slimnike, 2003 was not as bad as we had predicted, our worst fears were not confirmed. this is an infant democracy, lets be positive, do the little we can and give the political system time to grow & stabilize.
